Rain fell over the New British Shores, but the rain didn't stop the Freedom army marching into New London. The NBS Army didn't stop the Freedom army from marching into New London. The NLPD didn't stop the Freedom army marching into New London.
Government Circle was soon surronded by Challenger 2's from both the NBS Army and the Captured ones of the Freedom army. The Populus had had enough, the brutal tyrant would be brought down and the leader of the Revolution installed as President until Democratic elections could be held.
A Army Challenger fired a flare above the Square and the ground troops stormed the buildings.
Ten Minutes later the Square was one more quiet, the Tyrant was dead. The New British Shores was free...

Ladies and Gentlemen of the New British Shores, peoples of the world, my name is John White and I am the leader of the Freedom army. Last week Freedom Army forces, with support at last from the NBS Armed Forces overthrew our opressive Tryant who had commited many heinios crimes against our peoples. Today starts a new day for the New British Shores. I will be Acting-President until Elections can be held, which are expected to be sometime next month.
In the Meantime I call on New Britons everywhere to get our once proud nation back on it's feet, the NBS Armed Forces are deploying once more, but this time on missions of mercy and construction and infrastructure repair, not genocide and rape runs.
I ask the nations of the World to give what help they can to allow the New British Shores to get back on our Feet.

John smiled as he read the message from the Armed Republic of Salzland, but then skowled again when he read the Greater Americania reply. He sent the following message to Salzlands Minister for Foreign Relations:

I thank you for your congratulations and we swear to strive to live up to the hope you have placed in us.
As for what you can do to help us, any assistance in rebuilding efforts would be very appreciated, however an emergeing problem has...well...emerged. We have received veiled threats from the Nation of Greater Americania, the transcripts are attached to this message, any advice on that front would be appreciated.

OOC: Unfortunately, I have to go to class now, where I will be for the next three hours or so (unless the Professor lets us out early). Once I get out, this post will be edited to include a draft Mutual Defense Treaty for the Republic of New British Shores. The treaty will not be considered binding (as far as any NBS obligations are concerned) until I edit the completed version into an IC declaration, and until NBS agrees to sign on.

Quick run-down of the draft (to be considered in force as far as Salzland's obligations to NBS, in case anyone pulls a fast one while I'm away) includes considering a declaration of war against NBS to be a declaration against Salzland, military action against NBS to be equivalent to a declaration of war against Salzland, punitive economic measures taken against NBS to be considered as actions against Salzland (and open for Salzland retaliation), and a proposal for mutual ports of call for both nations' navies, which will immediately be put into use by the Salzland Navy.

A Treaty of Friendship and Common Defense

The undersigned, duly-appointed representatives of the Armed Republic of Salzland and The Republic of The New British Shores do hereby agree to be legally bound by the following articles:

Article One: Mutual Defense

Should either signatory to this treaty find itself confronted with an unprovoked war of aggression, or find itself threatened with such a war for the purpose of compromising the sovereignty of said threatened nation in any way, the unaffected party shall be legally obligated to take any and all countermeasures available to it, up to and including the use of all necessary military force, to fully defend the other. Should any attack be launched against either the Armed Republic of Salzland or the Republic of The New British Shores, it shall be treated as an attack against the other nation as well.

Article Two: Economic Assistance

Recognizing that the Republic of The New British Shores presently faces an economic crisis directly caused by the previous totalitarian government, the Armed Republic of Salzland hereby affirms that it will provide a sum of no less than $500 Billion ($500,000,000,000) Universal Dollars per year for a term of no less than ten (10) years. Said funds will be considered a grant, with no obligations presented to the Republic of The New British Shores for repayment of said funding. Extension of this assistance program in either scope of funding or duration may be reached by negotiation between duly-appointed representatives of both nations at any point of time.

Article Three: Economic Protection

Recognizing the need for closer economic relations between free and independent states, both the Armed Republic of Salzland and the Republic of The New British Shores agree to eliminate tariffs and trade barriers between their nations to the fullest extent possible, ideally establishing a free trade relationship. Additionally, any forms of economic warfare (including, but not limited to blockades, embargoes and sanctions) will be considered as an act against the non-targeted party as well, permitting either nation to respond as though an economic attack were committed against itself.

Article Four: Port of Call and Naval Basing Rights

Recognizing that mutual defense mandates that forces from the Armed Republic of Salzland and the Republic of The New British Shores must be able to access the territory of the other during times of war, both nations must establish at least one port or naval base open to the warships of the other. For this document, the term "establish" may be interpreted to mean the outright construction of a new facility, or the opening of an existing port or naval base for the use of both parties.

Article Five: Treaty Nullification

Should either party feel that sufficient cause exists to nullify this treaty, it is mandatory that 72 hours of notice be provided to the other before the articles of this document may be legally considered null and void. Any hostile actions taken by either party against the other during this time shall be considered a breach of this treaty, and an act open for broader retalliation.

Two Eurofighter Typhoons flew towards the Philimbesi Aircraft as they approached they contacted them.
"Flight 420, this is the Republic Air Force, we are to escort you in" The Lead Typhoon said

Flight four two zero confirming Republic Air Force. Lead the way.

The Two Typhoons sped past Flight 420 before coming around and forming on her wings.
