After our great victory against the Oppressors and our glorious Union with Bezelia, it's time to create a National Assembly in Bardar. It will consist of three Chambers;
1. The Chamber of the Deserving; members of the 6 Great Families.
2. Chamber of the Clans; 55 seats, 5 from each Clan, elected at Clan Assemblies
3. Chamber of the People; 250 elected delegates, according to the majority principle, muncipalities are arranged in a way so no traitors will have a say in Bardarian politics (ie. each Christian or Yawgalian settlement is combined with much larger Bardarian settlements to make sure they won't get representation).

For the election to the Chamber of the People 3 parties have been founded;
Bardarian National Party with the war hero General Thesselek Hagreis at the helm. Supported by the Evris, Asquil, Orives, Belkesh, Ishmen, Ploilas and Weynes Clans.
Bardarian People's Party with Dr. Karim Huswari as Chairman. Supported by the Ondas, Masmur, Alkal and Treikas Clans.
Bardarian Labour Party with Ulok Jodris as leader. Lack Clan support.

government type: we need further reforms, full democratization would be good
on the economy; a much freer market will create a modern society
on heresy; it's bad, but people can be reeducated.
on the power of the church; The Bardarian State should be the only power, the Church should just concentrate on prayer
on Christians; If we integrate them more in the society they will see that their ways are wrong and turn to the right faith.
on Yawgalians; their autonomous province halter the modernisation of Bardar. They need to be assimilated in the Bardarian people. At least the children should be educated to be Bardarians.
On the Opium Ring; A Criminal gang that should be evicted!

Bardarian Labour Party

government type; more reforms, full democracy desired
on the eonomy; the State should help the poor, the Workers need all support they can get.
on heresy; it shouldn't be illegal. All faiths should be allowed
on the power of the church; Bardar should be secularized
on Christians; they should be more integrated in the nation. Become a part of the workforce
.on Yawgalians; We don't care about them.
On the Opium Ring: their monopoly should disappear, anyone should be allowed to grow opium.

"What is your aims if the National Party win, general Hagreis?"
"The National Assembly's main task should be to protect the monarchy and the culture of the nation. The people want this nation to reach greatness, and the National Party will support the Royal Government to achieve this."
"So you are campaigning on a Conservative Ticket?"
"Look, dr. Huswari would also claim to be Conservative, but our ticket is a National Ticket, because our aims are the aims of our great people. We know how the people feel, and we will provide security and maintain traditions."
"What about the claims that you are guilty of genocide during Operation Leopard Roar"?
"I gave the Oppressors what they deserved, I gave the people of Bardar a just revenge, what they always has craved for. My military background will help Bardar reach new levels of greatness."
"You think the government should be appointed by the monarch, not the National Assembly?"
"Bardar is a monarchy, and the executiv power should be in the hands of the 6 Great Families, commoners like myself should instead take care of the legislative branch."

"Good, I have more Clans behind me than dr. Huswari, but it isn't over before election night, is it?"

The Stevidian government hereby supports the Labour Party and wishes it luck in the coming elections.

The Commonwealth dominion hereby supports the People's party and wishes it luck in the coming election.

The Nationalist Federation of Greater Americania throws it's support behind the Bardarian National Party. If the BNP takes significant power, the NFGA would be much more willing to become involved with Bardar.

"What are the main aims of the People's Party, Dr. Huswari?"
"Our goal is democratization of Bardar, we want the executive power to be bound by the National Assembly, and appointed by the National Assembly. Our current system that give the monarch the right to appoint a government without consent of the National Assemby is undeomcratic".
"You support the monarchy though?"
"Yes, but I think the monarch should stay away from politics. The monarch should be a symbol for the people, not a political leader."
"Many would disagree with you, do you consider yourself a liberal?"
"No, I consider myself a democrat, a reformer, and I don't think it's any difference if you're a liberal, a conservative or something else. All people strive for democracy."
"What is your opinion on general Hagreis and mr. Jodris??"
"I respect them both, general Hagreis is a warhero, and a man who has advanced to the position of general, even though he is not from the 6 families. Mr. Jodris has been active in founding a trade union in Bardar, despite hard opposition. I respect them both."
"Some people consider you a traitor due to your previous alignment with Imre Nagvar, and later with Belschaft."
"Imre nagvar was once a good man and my friend, but I resent the monster he became. Considering my ties with Belschaft during the War of Patriotism, it was a mistake. "The Labour party is a party for democracy. We want to create a safe nation for the working class, and a true democracy with no privilegies for the aristocracy and the church."

"I think Bardar becoming a monarchy was a mistake, Bardar should have embraced republicanism. However as long as the monarch stay out of the interests of the people, it doesn't really matter".
"Some people accuse you of being a socialist or a communist."
"Socialism and Communism are horrible oppressive ideologies, I am a man for democracy."
"The truth is that without Clan support you'll be lucky if you can grab a few urban muncipalitie? The Labour party is not exactly the front runners here."

"I would probably more often ally with Huswari and the People's Party, but probably some times with the National Party too, The Labour Party would always ally with those who pursue policies we can support."

"You have the dual responsibility of Prime Minister and Patriarch of the Church, what's your opinion on the upcoming election?"
"A elected Chamber in a National Assembly is the next step forward in Bardar's move towards modernization."
"Is there any plans to change the constitution and allow the winning party to form a government?"
"The Royal Government is the executive branch, it's appointed by the chief executive; the monarch. That's a great tradition that won't change."
"Some people are critizising the close bond between state and Church, you're yourself also head of the Church of Bardar, do you see a conflict of interests?"
"Of course not, the Church and the State have the same goals, what's best for the Bardarian people. Besides, I am appointed to my post by our late king, Bardur I, may his light shine upon us, because he considered me the right man for the job, next year Her Majesty Barazene I turn 14 and will assume office as Head of State, she has the right to replace me and appoint another Prime Minister."
"In this election, do you support the National Party? Their aims seems to be in line with the Royal Government."

The NFGA secretly donates 200,000 NFGA dollars to the Bardarian National Party.

"Election day draw closer and soon we will have a National Assembly. Queen Barazene I was in the temple yesterday and prayed for a safe election without disturbances. Some reporters have complained about some inconsistencies in the National Party's Campaign Budget, but they are probably just Dirty Liars".

The news;

Polls show the Bardarian National Party is ahead of the Bardarian People's Party. The Bardarian Labour Party seem to do well in a couple of urban muncipalities and will probably take a few seats.

"My fellow Bardarians, this ie the election where we prove our worth. We will show the world that it's good being a Bardarian, and it's good being good! A vote on the National Party is a vote for Bardar, for the great traditions of our country, for our monarchy and our church! A vot against us is a vote against or nation and a vote for evil! The National Party is the party for you who want Bardar to remain a great and proud nation! Long Live Bardar! Long Live the Queen"!!

Speech by Dr. Huswari;

"People of our great nation! We stand on a treshold. We can walk forward or step backward. A vote on the People's Party is a vote for the future. It's a vote for modernity, democracy and national unity. A vote on the National Party is a vote for the past and decadence. Bardar must take the brave steps forward and enter the modern world with pride. And we can do it! We are a proud people of warriors, and as warriors we have no fears! Long Live the Bardarian nation! Speech by Ulok Jodris

"It's time to change how this nation work! It's time for a democratic revolution that will sweep this country towards the shining path of prosperity. We need to get rid of the privilegies of the aristocracy and the church! We need to abolish the Clans! We need to have a government with a social concience. If you want change, you can get it!! By voting for the Labour Party you vote for democracy, equal rights, social programs and a new way of running things in Baradech! Long Live the Free People of Bardar!"

The Great Election to the National Assmebly draw close. It's time to make your final decision wether you're good Bardarians and vote correctly or traitors who vote for treacherous cowards! The National Party still lead in the polls, while the People's Party is gaining on them somewhat. The Labour Party are attracting young urban voters. It's time to show our courage and strength and elect a Great National Assembly! Long Live Bardar! Long Live the Queen!!

Polls have closed all over Bardar and the results are coming in!
BNP has achieved an impressing majority with 149 seats, BPP is the runner up with 92 seats and BLP has secured 9 seats. This means General Hagreis will be asked to become the Speaker of the Chamber.

Both BNP and BLP got a little bit of more foreign support than BPP. When it comes to Clan voting, almost everyone voted for mthe party their Clan had supported. Clan loyality and identity is still very high in Bardar. We will hear from general Hagreis later today as we will hear his victory speech. Long Live Bardar! Long Live the Queen!!

General Hagreis' victory speech;

"People of Bardar, today we showed the world we are strong and proud! We chose to be good, despite the temptations from treacherous snakes to enter the world of lies! Today Bardar has voted for a strong National Assembly, lead by the National Party to present a voice of honour! Today every Bardarian should feel good about themselves! I want to thank all the Clan Elders who has supported the party and I want to thank the young people for understanding the need of preserving traditions and decensy! I have already recieved a phone call from Prime Minister Asmolach II and I have been asked to become the first Speaker of the Chamber, and I have accepted the proposal. The National Party will make sure the National Assembly is working closely with the Royal Government and we will establish a good relation with Her Royal Highness Queen Barazene I and with the Church of Bardar. This is our day of victory!
