I am looking to start a civil war RP where the Third Empire of Fluffywuffy breaks down into chaos, sedition, and some good ol' civil war. I envision several factions, the Imperialist side (official government), and Socialist revolutionary side. There may be room for a third side that wishes to form a Republic of Fluffywuffy.

I am looking for people who can A) Play as rebel forces B) Intervene in the civil war

The IC thread will not be a free-for-all, so if you are interested in such a war, please respond here with what you hope to play as. I'll take a quick look at your RP history, and we'll be good to go.

Considering that technically my Chancellor was caught up in the beginnings of an assault i'd say my nation would be prety fixtated on intervening on behalf of the imperial government.

Well, Lingards, is there any specific part you'd like to play? Rebel forces? Invading foreign army bent on conquest? Peacekeepers? Interventionists? Rebel janitor?

I'd like to RP a minor Communist guerrilla officer that is trying to push the Maoist model of warfare to be the primary doctrine of the revolution, of course this would depend heavily on your terrain and sociology of the nation. And if your the Communist revolution is already using the Maoist model then I will simply RP him as a minor officer who's trying to gain prestige and rank, only joining the revolution due to his family's wishes, as all the other men have left to help with the 'inevitable' success of the revolution. But posting will be sporadic, thus my main motivation for a minor role.

I am unfamiliar with the Maoist model of warfare, so I can assume that they wouldn't be using it. But the character RP elements are pretty nice, so, have at it.

My military is currently ocupied preparing for several large military operations, however I do have a state sponsered and armed PMC that would be happy to support the goverment for a fee.

The gov't may hire the PMC, I'll see how my story I'm writing develops.

Ok, however for the Maoist model to work there needs to be the following:
A rural region, which is also surrounded [and preferably engulfed] by mountains or woods.
There needs to be a sympathetic Communist presence in a region that is similar to the aforementioned. That or there needs to be a large class division, at least in the region or specified town(s).

We have plenty of forests, and there is a large feeling that the government is corrupt, so you can capitalize off of that.

Well, I notice this is your first post with this account. I don't know if you've RP'd before as another nation or on another board. Do you understand the concepts of role-playing? And you would like to RP as what rebel group?

I Was thinking maybe 3,000 Mercs spread all around in groups of 13 with a Old Ticonderoga Class Cruiser and Some Fighter Bombers for support

Thats about the same size deployment as mine.

4000 Mercs +Light Vehicles
30 Armour Pieces
12 AH-1Zs
4 Modified Albion-Class Landing Platform Docks

I Would do larger because I technically have 2 other PMCs i could use but Executive Operations is Preoccupied and Artemis is waiting on a answer for a defense contract that does not look like it is coming through though, so for now PMCC will be the Merc Company i am using

I would like to refer any potential RPers to the Imperial Order of Battle (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14704855&postcount=1), which is very much a work in progress (look at the sparse work done on the navy and army air force). This will give you some idea of the level of organization in the Fluffywuffy military.

You can use the coming civil war to operate cells from within Fluffywuffy, taking advantage of the chaos. But randomly blowing up crap for the hell of it? No.

I have no intention of actually blowing any shit up. Unless doctrine calls for it. The group is primarily anti-Islamic so they'll only really be using the chaos to recruit disillusioned and like minded soldiers etc, gain battlefield expertise in guerrilla warfare, find any groups who might support the cause and most importantly grab any loot that's not nailed down.
