Juan Bãndero, Minister of the Interior, leaned over and kissed his wife on the cheek. “What a beautiful dinner! Thank you, dear. What do you say boys?”

Juan’s two sons, Miguel and Ricardo, seated opposite Juan and to his left, turned and smiled at their mother, “Thank you mommy!” The two boys picked up their spoons and begin to enjoy the hearty meal, until the door blew open, shrapnel scarring the four family members.

The lead man, clad in a black tactical outfit, dropped a knee and planted himself on the floor, AEK-971 firmly placed in his shoulder. He squeezed the trigger and lead ripped through the head of the minister’s wife, her limp body falling backwards as her chair collided with the floor. More men were rushing in, the next two forming up in line with the first. These two men targeted the young boys, putting rounds through their stomachs before shifting their aim to the minister.

As tactical men continued to rush in, forming a deathly circle around the bloody dining room, the minister leapt up, charging towards the door and the men who’d killed his family. He got about a foot before someone fired their weapon, pulling it horizontally. Juan’s knees buckled under him as pain surged through his body, unable to stop his fall.

The men dispersed through the house, searching, breaking, burning – all in a vain attempt to find evidence incriminating Juan as a capitalist spy. As these men did their job, Gregory Alexandri strode in. The head of the Volichnay province’s Counter Espionage Force was smartly dressed in a crisp, polished suit, his long blond hair tucked behind his ears, green beady eyes darting between Juan and his children. He walked forward to grab the hair of Miguel, his agonizing screams filling the room. “So Mr. Bãndero, how about we do this the easy way? Who are you working for, where are your files?”

“I faithfully serve the Socialist state of Socalist rule, I have always done so and continue to do so. Why are you doing this?”

“I don’t think you understand me, Mr. Bãndero.” Gregory reached into his jacket, drawing out a small pistol before putting it to Miguell’s head. Without hesitation, he pulled the trigger. Miguel’s brains splattered on the wall as Gregory released what remained of the boy’s scalp. Juan screamed, trying to muster the strength to lift himself off the floor and towards Gregory, but a well-placed tactical boot sent him back to the floor.

Gregory grabbed the second boy who was, oddly, somewhat silent, despite the pain no doubt induced from the blood leaking from his stomach. Pulling the boy up, Gregory placed the pistol to this boy’s head before turning back to Juan. “You have one more chance. Where?”

Juan, sobbing as he choked the words out reached towards Gregory in an act of pity, “Please I’m telling you! I don’t work for anyone but the government. Please don’t hurt my boy anymore, let him go. Please, I’ve always served the gove-“ Juan was interrupted as Ricardo’s skull joined Miguel’s in decorating the wall. Gregory wiped off his pistol as Juan screamed in terrible agony, his tears prevent the formation from any coherent speech. Gregory replaced his pistol before motioning to some of the men, who promptly lifted up Juan, legs dragging on the ground, and carried him out of the house.

“Sir!” called one of the tactical men as he approached Gregory, “we found nothing sir, he’s totally clean.” “Burn it all.”

Gregory approached the news team of State Sponsored channel Thirteen, the only news venue, as the men carefully positioned Juan in front of a deep pit dug some hundred yards from his home. As the men supported his back with a meek support system, invisible from the front, Gregory turned to the news crew. “Make sure you only get his knees and up.”

The crew proceeded to film Juan, speaking about how government agents has found him conspiring with capitalist spies of an unnamed source, surrounded by mountains of incriminating evidence. He cried and begged for mercy, protesting his innocence, before pleading for his life – admitting his wrongdoings. His current state, shown on the camera, was alleged to be a result of his pitiful confession and cries for mercy. The reporter signed off by saying “We’ve been told he won’t get that.”

Almost immediately after the camera went off, two men strode towards Juan, lifting him up before tossing him down the pit behind him. As explosions and flame begin to rip through his house, splintering wood flying into the sky, Juan laid at the bottom of the pit – able to see the ring of men on top, shoveling dirt down onto his face. He didn’t know whether his injuries or the burial would get him first – but he knew he was done. Juan said some last words inside his head before he lost his sight forever.

Carlos Simpson watched the blue progress bar slowly crawling across his computer screen. Nestled amongst the crumbs of potato chips, empty soda cans, crumpled papers, and CD stacks was his video camera, humming softly as he transferred his video onto his computer.

Carlos Simpson, despite the state of his apartment, was a relatively thin, attractive man, approaching his late twenties and struggling to make ends meet. His full-time job at the hardware store on the other end of town supported his meager lifestyle and expensive electronics fees.

Carlos has almost finished schooling to be a computer engineer before his father’s death forced him home to take care of his mother. Carlos was relatively indifferent to the socialist policies pursued by his nation, content to float through the system. However, his mother had brought him up to respect freedom – something which was increasingly being lost as the government rooted out capitalists and their supporters. This belief was kept in check until the day when an armed policemen held him back, forcing him to watch as several more dragged his mother off, kicking and screaming. She had allegedly participated in a dissident capitalist movement. Carlos never heard from her again.

He spent the next few years putting his computer skills to work, creating a blog through which he worked to expose the horrendous conditions within Socalist rule. His detailed video footage and graphically descriptive writing had drawn many international observers to subscribe to his feed. His vast security precautions, including a honeycombing of IP routers and signal bouncers laced throughout the surrounding townships kept the government forces at bay – always failing to discern Carlos’ identity or his whereabouts. But he knew they were closing in, he couldn’t last much longer.

But he wouldn’t need to – with just this one video he could be done forever, sure to have drawn international support for his one man resistance movement.

Carlos had made the conscious decision to trespass onto the property of the Interior Minister that day. He was pursuing some rumors about the minister apparently making some pro capitalist statements, and Carlos was interested whether or not the minister had received any backlash. Just as he was about to clear the tree line 200 yards away from the estate, Carlos sighted multiple black automobiles around the building and numerous heavily armed men all around. He begin to record and only stopped after they finished burying Juan.

Now he was set to upload the video to his blog and simultaneously send it to major news agencies around the world, a brief introduction in a robotic voice introducing what was occurring.

He only needed a few more minutes before he could permanently end his operations, securing his safety.

An ASoGM intelligence analyst had been a subscriber to the blog for a while, and watched the video with disgust. He passed the video along to his supervisors, and after watching it, they sent it to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Soon after, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a communication to the New Socalist rule.

The ASoGM is shocked that the government of New Socalist rule is willing to execute a family without a trial, based only on an accusation. The ASoGM is therefore instituting a full trade embargo/travel ban with New Socalist rule, until such time as the civil rights record of New Socalist rule improves. The only exception to the travel ban will be if citizens of New Socalist rule petition to the ASoGM for asylum.

AEK-971s were coddled as CEF forces quickly moved into position, lining up along the wall outside of a shoddy apartment building in downtown Kaoi. The black government vans had been spirited away in nearby government facilities, this operation was to be discovered only after it was over – surprise was critical.

Each side of the small red door sported ten heavily armed CEF tactical men, clad in black and hunched down – moments away from the green light.

A short, stout man came out of the door, tucking his messenger bag over his shoulder as he fumbled to put his apartment keys away. A gloved hand quickly covered his mouth, his eyes bulging as he caught sight of multiple figures around him. A quick blow and he slumped down unconscious, his body abandoned as the men entered the building, heading straight for their destination.

Carlos’ fingers moved across the keyboard, the video now uploaded. A small, red light flashed nearby and Carlos looked to his left. A black monitor sat there, completely motionless.

“How could I? It’s off!”

Carlos leaned forward, snapping the monitor on as it slowly glowed to life. There, in front of his eyes, were multiple heavily armed men storming up the stairs. His security systems would let him know of their approach, but he could do nothing to stop them.

Turning back towards his keyboard, his fingers quickly resumed work. Windows came and went as he synchronized his actions, ready to let the world know of what had happened.

Once more a blue bar crawled across this screen, this time it would result in a small gray window – occupied by only one button. A click of that button would not only post the video on his blog, but send it to news agencies around the world.

His finger hovered over the enter key, only 50 seconds remaining.

The men were in position, a fan of them crowded around the door – fingers resting on their triggers. One of them, gun shouldered, charged at the door, a battering ram held slightly behind him. Stopping several inches short of the door, he let the ram fly forward, sending the door splintering inwards.

20 seconds
Men swarmed past him as they flanked into the room.

Shouts of “get down” slowly faded as they absorbed the scene. A lone chair occupied the room, a small gray box with a flashing green light on it. Wires ran from it in several directions, all feeding into the wall and out of view.

10 seconds
Carlos glanced to his left once more, eyeing the monitor. The motion detectors installed throughout the building five blocks down had constantly changed the video feed he received, so that now he saw the angered men gathered in the room. A small smile crossed his face as he leaned back, safely pressing enter. His screen glowed brilliantly as confirmation messages popped up.

Spinning in his chair, Carlos’ head came to rest on the wrong end of a pistol. There stood his socialist neighbor, loyal to the state above all else.

“I’ve suspected you a long time.”

He pulled the trigger.

Alek Streck, a young Rutian soldier, had been surfing the internet when he came upon the blog containing the video. He watched the video several times in shock before sending a message to his commanding officer with the link to the video.

The video quickly found it's way through the chain of command until it arrived at the desk of the Emperor. After review, and the Emperor was just as shocked as the young soldier, an official response was formed.

Following events in other nations around, I would say we are safe to commence our planned approach to human rights and civil liberties.

Repression is the only option if we are to win this war.

Agent John Ficker watched the gruesome executions, no, murders on his screen, barely able to stomach the intense violence inflicted upon the "spy." Young, short, and a bit out of shape, John had been a rising star in the agency, helping to track down some of the terrorists that had assassinated the Emperor. For this task his was ordered his own minor division, where he had an agent or two--it varied daily--under his supervision.

As the Agent in Charge, New Socialist Rule Division, it was his job to monitor the oppressive regime in New Socialist Rule. The Third Empire had a deep distrust, no, hatred for all things Red, and New Socialist Rule was no exception. After socialist revolutionaries made an attempt on the life of the Emperor, the Emperor ordered the beefing up of the intelligence agencies to monitor socialist activities, foreign and domestic.

No agents had actually penetrated New Socialist Rule, but a certain blog run by a certain unknown man had proven of vital interest. The Third Empire had sat by and watched as untold terrors were inflicted upon the population of New Socialist Rule, but this was simply too much. Buried alive,John thought. What absolute monsters. I must bring this to the attention of the Socialist Division.

John made his way through the cubicle labyrinth that was the Imperial Intelligence Agency -- Socialist Division headquarters. The Third Empire had an entire section, and headquarters building, devoted entirely to the activities of socialist regimes and revolutionaries, hoping to prevent yet another socialist attack upon the Emperor. The building was cold, harsly lit, and typical government, with shoddily made ceilings, drab walls covered only in lame government announcements and motivational posters.

Finally, after navigating the maze of cubicles, John delivered his report to the Director of Intelligence, Socialist Division, who in turn briefed his boss, the Director of Intelligence, who in turn briefed Alexander Ramius, the Foreign Minister and Duke of Rexicum, capital of Fluffywuffy.

Ramius was disgusted, and as acting regent to the Emperor, who was still recovering from his wounds, he was motivated to act. He summoned the local news agencies, who hungered after a new story after the Third Empire ended its involvement in the Neoslavian situation.

Ramius was a tall man, bold looking, but dressed always in a simple suit, far beneath what he could afford. He was a man of business, and his addresses were always short, sweet, and to the point. Diplomatic niceties were for his diplomats to be concerned with. As Regent, he felt he could say what needed to be said, diplomats be damned.

After the cameras were set up, Duke Ramius began his speech.

"Today is a grim day for the leadership of New Socialist Rule, for their lies have been brought forth once again by a man inside their oppressive borders. Some time ago, an innocent man, the foreign minister, was accused of being a spy for capitalist regimes. As a man of integrity, this foreign minister was innocent of the crime. He faithfully served his government, however corrupt, perhaps even believing in its cause. But he was brutally stripped of his title and life, for it has come to our attention that he was buried alive after suffering multiple wounds.

The Third Empire condemns in the most absolute terms this brutal atrocity comited against this innocent man, and demands that the regime of New Socialist Rule step down for the shame of the crimes that it has committed. We make this demand not on our own behalf, but on behalf of the oppressed people of New Socialist Rule.

Should the regime not step down, the Third Empire shall begin an embargo of New Socialist Rule, with further actions to be determined in coordination with the Emperor and the Legislative Council. We pray that this shall not come to blows so soon after the war in Neoslavia, but we feel that there may be no other alternative in such a situation as this. May God have mercy."

Reporters screamed out questions to the Duke, asking to what extent force might be used, what divisions might be sent, but the Duke waved his hand, saying "I will take no questions. I will say that should forced be used, it will be overwhelming, it will come from all sides, and it will liberate New Socialist Rule."

At first, I considered the fact that your baseless claims and willingness to bandwagon dismissed your right to individuality. I was toying with the idea of simply resending to you another message sent to a different nation. I have, however, decided against that. I will give you some measure of individuality, hopefully to show you how ill-guided you are.

Where is your proof? What gives you the right to level accusations against this mighty nation, with no more proof than your words? Any making such an action would be very wise to re-consider - such belligerency has a tendancy to see regimes topple soon after the fact.

We take great offense at your tendancy to act without evidence, pursuing an aggresive policy towards our nation with no support but your dully ringing words. All the accused in our nation have more than a fair trial, a decent amount of money is spent on time-consuming appeals and more to ensure, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the guilt of any criminal before punishment is rendered.

Tom Woodrow looked down at his PDA. Shit.. Looks like more paperwork because of this execution. He tightened his tie and walked into the Environmental Enforcement Agency Main Building. A small Black haired lady looked over at him.

As of this time, a certain nation – to remain nameless for now – has sought to slander the reputation of our glorious nation, militarize the relationship between our nations, and threaten the safety and well being of Socalist peoples.

To provide a shoddy foundation for these claims, they put forth the ridiculous notion that the Socalist foreign minister was executed without trial, for simple accusations. This claim is particularly insulting to me, the foreign minister, because I do not appreciate when nations tell me I’m dead. While said nation is correct about my faithful service to Socalist rule, they endeavor to claim my death – and lay the blame onto the Socalist government.

Such a ludicrous allegation, intent to portray the Socalist government as a collective of savages and barbarians has done nothing but leave a bad taste in the the mouth of Socalist leadership, military heads as well.

Socalist rule condemns, in the most absolute terms, this shameful imperialism and disgusting name-calling committed against an innocent nation, obviously a precursor to imperialist actions by said nation. The ridiculous demand put forth by said nation will in no way be entertained, this demand has done nothing but push the tempers of the glorious men guiding our Socalist nation. In answer, we recommend and demand that the government of said nation step down and extradite themselves to Socalist rule, to be tried for the disgusting war crimes they have taken part in. Hopefully, the peoples of said nation and the world will then be safe.

As of this time, the Socalist military has begun a limited mobilization, bringing small numbers of the military into active service – but still a number large enough to crush the threat that said nation poses to our glorious Socalist state.

If said nation does not comply, these forces will undoubtedly sail for the shores of the Third Empire.

Oh? Really? So – your justifications for your accusations and embargo are…a blog? More so, a blog operated by an unknown videographer? Wow, I’m sorry – I had no idea your source was so credible, please, allow me to help you in your actions. Just one question – who amongst us do you think has been abducted by aliens?

Seriously, conspiracy theories are not proper justification for actions on the international scene – especially actions with such widespread consequences. Clearly, your ministry is a little wet behind the ears here. Let me be the first to tell you, this isn’t a game – it’s real life. If your decisions to act on poorly defensible, easily-forged information result in the death of your citizens – the blood will be on your hands. And there’s no ‘re-do’ button, or reload – you only get once chance.

If this big world of politics is too much for your ministry to handle, perhaps you guys should step down. I’m sure your nation could muster someone with more competence to fill the shoes of your ministry, I don’t know any nation which couldn’t.

If we were to fake a video of your soldiers murdering and raping a village (not hard to do) and then release on some un-known blog without attributing any name to it – could we then invade you for war crimes? Should that be our course of action?

The apartment was brimming with activity, bright lights bringing to life shapes previously cloaked in darkness, numerous men scurrying back and forth – bagging items and combing through the entire building.

The fourth through sixth fleets are on standby, sailors ready to instantly come and ships stocked with munitions.”

The ring of red light quickly turned a bright green, signaling approval of what the Naval Officer had said. As it faded back to red, the man leaned back to assume his vertical position in his chair.

The other men proceeded to give their reports on the various mobilizations and preparedness of the Socalist military, just beginning to flex their muscles in response to numerous belligerent stances put forth by other nations of the international community.

The officers seated further back diligently recorded all information they had no previously been apprised of.

Official Socalist Statement

The government of Socalist rule has been notified about a horrid video floating around the internet which alleges that government forces murdered a government official and his family. We would like to plainly state that this was not conducted, especially not by government forces. To use such violence on one's own people is something that Socalist rule stands firmly against.

Considering the grave nature of this video and the reprecussions it would and has had on Socalist rule's international reputation, an investigation has already been launched and given high government priority. At this time we have apprehended the individual responsible for the release and distribution of the video, and the apartment from which is was distributed.

As of yet, we have ascertained the fact that the man illegally entered our nation roughly a year ago - probably seeking to committ acts such as this. His nationality is yet to be identified, and the means through which he made the movie as well. He has admitted that the video is not real, but will not divulge anything further than that.

The Socialist Power of Socalist rule officially and irrevocably condemns The Third Empire, in its entirity. This state represents a threat to the safety and stability of the world as we know. While their military seeks to bully and subjugate all smaller nations, they threaten the precarious international stability.

This organized network of desks provided support and shelter for one of Socalist rules’ many government computer compounds. This one, however, was unique in that it had complete access and control to government files in regards to Socalist citizens.

Socalist rule had started a full-scale mobilization effort, unannounced. The very nature of it would make it impossible to hide from satellite eyes, but there were political implications in the lack of announcement.

The fourth, fifth, and sixth fleets had been ordered to active duty, sailing to meet the first through third fleets. However, these fleets had already left Socalist waters, leaving the other three to follow them. Their destination was unclear, but given recent government statements, one could easily guess where they might be headed.

From the distant view in the sky, one could see huge movements of soldiers in Socalist lands. Their movements not too clear as they sometimes entered huge hangers, only to never emerge and smaller groups to emerge from different bases on the other side of the nation.

Their exact activities weren’t certain, certainly confusing, but there was an obvious polarization near coastal cities and bases – especially those equipped with large naval docks.

Naval activity was much easier to understand, the ability to hide ships being extremely limited compared to men. Fleets could be seen forming around the nation, others in international waters orienting towards a new direction. The navy was obviously stretching its legs.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeffery Laurence read the response, and laughed. It was not Minister Laurence's first rodeo, and New Socalist rule's story was flimsy at best, and a load of pure bull at worst. He called his secretary, and soon was handing her his copy of the channel 13 news broadcast. He told her to bring the video to the Ministry of News, to re-broadcast it to the world.

Soon, all the GMian news networks were running the video on their international stations. The rest of the world would see the news video soon, which should corroborate the blog video.

Official Socalist Statement

The Socalist people are most sad to inform you that, as of now, we have uncovered the fact that the gruesome video circulating the web was, in fact, not faked. While government involvment in the video was, of course, faked - the actual execution was not.

Earlier today government investigators uncovered a remote facility purchased under the name of a man who has since been discovered to be a close collaborator of the criminal who released the controversial video. This man is believed to have participated in the executions.

When government agents arrived at the scene, cut off by dense vegetation and wholly private, they found a smoldering wreck of a house. The remains closely resemble those in the video and analyzed burn progression would leave the house in the video looking exactly like the ruins found.

Three charred bodies were recovered, all of them matching the executions in the video. Dental records confirm that they are, in fact, the family of members of the ex-Minister of the Interior, Mr. Bãndero. Mr. Bãndero's corpse was recovered soon after. Investigators searched for the burial scene showed in the video, and were disgusted to find it.

This nation and governmnet vows vengeance upon the culprits of this crime and will find out exactly who participated.

A short, stocky man dressed in a trim, blue uniform approached the three men and stopped, clasping his hands behind him. A silver badge gleamed on his breast, matching the one emblazoned on the front of his hat, seated crookedly on his head.

Various people flanked him, three of them approaching the men - each holding a thick, laminated, and spiral-bound book - as the other stood in position.

"This here is a briefing on all the current material in the investigation. You've just been given a huge amount of information which, until recently, hadn't been seen by any eyes save those in our upper echelons of government.

Inside you will find biographical information on Mr. Bãndero, the ex-interior minister who was assassinated in the video. If you are not yet aware, then I suppose it’s my job to brief you on the unfortunate realizations in the case. Government agents recently raided a secluded facility owned by a collaborator of Carlos Simpson, the illegal alien who posted the video on the internet. It is obvious that this facility served as the scene for the movie, for the charred ruins matched those in the video, and the four bodies recovered were those of Mr. Bãndero and his family.

This discovery has infuriated the government, and led them to double the resources devoted to this case – also prioritizing it as number one investigation.

But, back to your information. You will find information on Mr. Bãndero and the crimes which led to him being released from duty less than a year ago. Included are volumes of evidence accrued in that investigation, including his signed confession, and paperwork on the government deal which saw him put on a special type of bail/witness protections program in exchange for a list of names of the people he worked with.

We’ve recently uncovered reports from police near Mr. Bãndero’s residence dating to the night before the release of the video. They’ve been included as well. These reports detail numerous reports of shouting, yelling, and several gunshots coming from his residence. When police arrived, the family was gone – an obvious scuffle having occurred. Due to Mr. Bãndero’s protected status, the police didn’t know his identity, and so – failed to report his abduction.

Following that you can find what information we’ve uncovered on Mr. Simpson as of yet, and photographs of some of the facilities he owned and operated. The technology he possessed, the computing skills he had, and the extensive amount of real estate under his name or certain aliases, all we know of included, suggests that he was not working alone. Now, it’s obvious from the video that he was working with others, but we mean it’s unlikely that he didn’t have a sponsor outside of Socalist territory.

Given the armaments and equipment used in the raid, executions, and throughout the facilities, it seems that the sponsor is likely a government, rather than an extremely wealthy and powerful individual. Given the national security aspect of this issue, such information has been omitted. But, we’ve seen fit to let you know that we’re investigating this.

We have, however, included documents which outline this theory and provide evidence for it.

President Ingram Hasley sighed deeply and turned off his laptop. He folded the laptop down and looked down the mahogany table at his Secretary of State, Alison Foster Weins.

"Well?" Ingram said in an annoyed tone.

"Well, what?" Alison answered. Ingram sighed again.

"Well, do we have enough votes in Congress to invade this Stalin-hugging hellhole?" Ingram asked.

"Not yet, however because of your party's majority in Congress I think that we'll be able do it. We might be able to sway the Democratic Republicans towards our side, but the Neo-Socialists and the Liberals won't budge." Weins answered as she drew a Cuban from the cigar box in front of her. She struck a match and lit the cigar. Ingram looked to the left of Alison at his Secretary of Defense, Ferghus Van Loon.

"Mr. Van Loon, what does the military situation look like if we go in?" Ingram questioned.

"Well, it appears that we outnumber them greatly, and that we are much better equipped than they are. I'd say we have a ninety-nine percent chance of completely wiping them off the face of the earth. I'd recommend a troop deployment of two-hundred thousand men for our initial units. If resistance is more than expected, we could have another ten thousand men redeployed from rebuilding efforts in Soryanastan in one week." Ferghus replied.

Ingram looked down at the table and then looked back up at Alison.

"Do you think their government has already killed the man who posted the video I was just watching?" Ingram asked.

"I don't doubt it. They probably tracked his IP address." Weins replied.

"Okay, I'm going to write a communique. Alison, let me know when we can go in; Ferghus, begin working on a battle plan. I'll be damned if we don't get this done in a clean, professional matter." Ingram declared. He left the room with his laptop and walked back to his desk where he began to write.

As I described in my communique to their leader, they were 'a totalitarian hellhole run by generals who rape five year old girls'. The oppressing regime was obliterated by a coalition of free, capitalist states who believed that liberty was more important than the 'glorious' global socialist revolution.

Your government very much reminds me of Soryanastan. I have seen the video for myself and I am not shocked, I am fucking pissed off, and you do not want to piss of an libertarian interventionist. Nations who have committed acts like yours and been noticed by us have been bombed so hard their grandchildren felt it. Am I clear here?

Mariovich Andropov leaned back, staring up at the light as he lifted a finger to his eye. Ever so gently, he slipped the contact in and blinked several times, setting it in place. Repeating with his other eye, he then tossed the supplied in the garbage – his eyes set for the next two months.

Lightly jogging out of the bathroom, Mariovich made his way to an inclined gun rack built into the wall, one of the many located throughout the barracks complex. Moving to the familiar niche which housed his he opened the locking rods, sliding the gun over his shoulder as he grabbed the last of his supplies – possibly saying good-bye to this place for the last time.

The thick, steel doors grudgingly groaned open, letting the soldiers spill outwards in an excited fashion. Dinai APCs stood ready, a powerful, menacing model based off of the American AAV-7A1. Armored doors swung open as lines of soldiers poured into their bays, seating themselves while logistical crews loaded their mounds of supplies on trucks waiting nearby.

Andropov walked into his vehicle last, tightly squeezing his rifle as he sat down into the last seat, reserved for him in respect of his leadership rank. He quickly glimpsed two green fatigued men loading his bag onto a trunk as the APCs mighty doors sealed themselves, leaving the men bathed in nothing but the eerie red internal lights.

The entire collection of trucks, APCs, tanks, and more was one of the last to leave beginning internal deployments, making their way for the Socalist coast.

Inside, Andropov looked at the faces of his men. Most of them were battle-hardened, no emotion showing on their face as they mentally readied for whatever conflict may lay ahead.

Several were green, one of them especially, he fidgeted and frantically glanced side to side. Eventually, he calmed down before looking at Andropov. “Hey Sarge, what’s goin’ on? Are we invading ‘em, like they say?”

“Now Gordo, you know I can’t say anything.”

“Come on Sarge!” The other men, shedding their earlier lifeless forms began to take emotion, joining in on goading their usually reliable sergeant into providing them what details he knew.

“Ok, ok. Well, word is that we originally started light mobilization in response to the international pressure we were receiving from that bogus video. Following that, we approached higher levels of mobilization – some rumors amongst the upper enlisted men was that gov’ment knew who was responsible, and planned to make them punish.

However, now – I don’t think so. I think it’s becoming apparent from public international chatter that several nations are taking this video at face value, and seeking to punish our good Socalist nation for it. From what I know, large groups of men are being readied for expeditionary forces. But most, are taking defensive positions.”

ASoGM reconnaissance satellites picked up the continued mobilization of the New Socalist rule's military. The ASoGM would keep an eye on things, but it issued orders to its early warning aircraft to pull back to normal patrols. The deployed battlegroups would continue their tours though, and the CDF would continue its "training".

Yet another intelligence briefing, the Shah sighed as he lit a cigarette, looking through the summary earmarked for his interest. Seated at his malachite desk in his personal office, his Bohemian crystal ashtray was packed with Davidoffs, smoked to the filter and leaving a scent of stale tobacco smoke. Without much thought, he placed the cigarette between his lips as he opened the folder, looking at the pictures of the unfortunate soul being buried alive

The report didn't disturb him in the least, it was amusing, to be honest. He had ordered far worse crimes done to dissidents in his own country before, often only for his own amusement, cruelty, after all, was a form of art in many cases. These fools burying their enemies alive had no creativity. The Parthians made use of plastic shredders and microwave chambers to dispose of the irritating leftist scum, and the Londinians certainly loved giant blenders, perhaps too much for their own good.
