Ralkovia

(actually ask ooc. You can make IC comments but no military involvement)
It was a mistake that would cost Ralkovia dearly. The government had become sick with its own luxury. It was not that Ralkovia was powerless, far from it, its fleets were vast and its armies great, on paper. In reality many of Ralkovia's colonies were undermanned and quite unprotected. If that was all Ralkovia was fine but the administration of ralkovian colonies were being drowned in their own greed for wealth that corruption was rampant in the colonies. The first to be touched by the black money was in the department that supposedly kept the colonies in order, the colonial police. Their corruption would be the indirect cause of that mistake.
Nowhere was this cauldron of black filth more evident than in the Havanya(present day Somalia and Ethiopia) where hundreds of millions of dollars of money was dragged in from the black markets and piracy. Ships, Slaves, and Spices were common in the colonial capital of Tomanga. In the trading harbors it was even more common to see men toting weapons and wearing tattered clothings steer multi-billion dollar ships into port and sell their cargo and crew. White men and women being dragged by black pirates to be sold as slaves at common market. These slave markets were left to flourish in plain sight as the colonial administration looked the other way. Even the foreign journalist broadcasted daily reports of the slave market and did interviews on the slaves and their masters. That was another mistake of Ralkovia.
No day looked to be uneventful in this sin city. Millions of people buying, selling, fighting, and killing. Billions of dollars being transfered every minute. It was a modern day sodom and gomorrah. So it was not unusual when 10 rafts filled with armed men sped out into the sea. They were after a Hunean Cargo ship carrying luxury cars, the target should, according to the reports of the docksmen at the Voksar canal(Suez Canal), be heading in the path the pirates were set to intercept. However a storm had been brewing up north and many of the freighter vessels had been required to change their trajectory. That had been another mistake of Ralkovia. So when the pirates found an allanean cargo ship carrying the same prescribed cargo of the Hunean's it was only natural to assume they had found their target. That was another mistake of Ralkovia.
The last mistake of Ralkovia was the fact that the pirates had bought kolokol from a Ralkovian Military Base. It was because of this that the pirates could attack the Allanean cargo ship without the crew being able to fight back. So it was with this that 50 pirates attacked the Allanean ship.
It was a combination of the corruption of the Empire and the greed of its people that these pirates were allowed to exist and buy military grade weapons from Ralkovian armories. It was this that 50 pirates took over an allanean cargo ship with only one casualty to the pirates. It was this pit of sins that the video of the rape of the Allanean woman responsible for the death of the pirate was made.
The S.S. Norfolk
Somewhere off the coast of Somalia
-2 hours before-
"Captain, what's that off are starboard?"
"Sir, their are rafts off are starboard. They are firing gas canisters!"
"PIRATES!!! Send word to the authorities in this region. Don't contact the Ralkovians they are good for nothing dogs. Arm yourselves and prepare to repulse!" yelled the captain with years of experience behind her voice. She took a pistol out from a small shelf and loaded it before heading down to her quarters to retrieve her favorite assault rifle.
The Black Spit
-Raft off the starboard of the Norfolk-
"GRENADA IN," cried the captain of the pirates. With his orders the pirates fired kolokol grenades from their ships launchers. As the gas took its effect the pirates simply began to drill a hole into the lower level of the ship a few feet about the water line.
S.S. Norfolk
The brigands filled the lower level of the ship and headed up. Finally they reached the area of the crew quarters. They simply had to wait for the gas to finish up before heading up and claiming the rest of the crew and the ship. Except they found a small bump in their plans when a blonde woman opened the door to her quarters and emptied a clip of bullets into one of the pirates.
She quickly found herself pushed against a wall and beaten by the dead pirates brother. The man pulled her to one of the crew quarters with a few fellow relative as the woman screamed for help. Blood poured endlessly from the dead pirate that the captain of the pirates dragged the dead pirate off to the other side of a bulk head on the ship. Finally with quick orders the pirates stormed the deck of the ship and took control of it.
The bridge of the ship was filled with slumped bodies, the effect of the kolokol gases incapacitation(they are unconscious not dead). The bridge was also eerily silent except for the crackling of a radio. The captain looked to his fellow crew and cheered as they turned the ship to Tomanga. They were sure to get a hefty price for the crew and cargo.
