Today marks the launching of the first of the Mandator Class Star Dreadnaughts. The biggest Class in the Star Republic navy at nearly Ten Thousand Meteres Long, sporting many many times the weaponary on the Venator, and Even the Victory Class Star Destroyers. Designed as the lead ships of the Star Republic Fleet, the Mandator class is the Second in the line of new Ships from the Star Republic Ship Yards this year, the first of course being the Victory class. The Mandator class are expected to become the Hot assignments for much of the StarFleet...
In other news...
The Mandator Class Star Dreadnaught Legend, moved away smoothly from it's massive dry dock. Her crew was all aboard and her reactors had been confirmed to be flight capable. As she moved away from the ship yards her escorts of Four Victory Class and Eight Venator Class Star Destroyers formed up around her. Whilst the Mandator Class was designed to head up already constructed fleets, the First of her Class would be the beginning of the Legend Fleet, which would be hand picked by the Mandator's CO as time went by. With her ships in formation they sped into Hyperspace towards the Frontier for a shakedown Patrol.
