Chan'vax City, Capital City of Southern Union
Walking along Nightclub alley
Around 1030 Hours

"This is fantastic," started Blackett as he went with Rathma and his wife Johanna through the city of Chan'vax. "So you grew up here Jo?"

"I come here every second weekend and my friends and I would go into the nightclubs. We would just do girls stuff," answered Johanna as she squeezed Rathma's cybernetic hand. "My dad's estate was near the Chan'vax Forest. It still belongs to us but we're thinking of selling it,"

"Yeah," agreed Rathma as he gently suqeezed her hand. "It would be nice to use it as a retreat but we're thinking of selling it since we don't come out as much as we used to,"

"Can we still go see it?" Blackett asked curiously.

"Yeah, that's where we'll be staying while we're here," replied Rathma with a smile as Johanna suddenly let go of Rathma's hand and hugged her best friend who ran into her arms. The pair exchanged greetings as nother girl appeared on the scene.

"Alright you two, go have fun yo," shouted back Johanna as her friends started to walk with her towards a nightclub.

Chan'vax City had changed since the Union Uprising. The entire city changed from a city under martial law to a city that was free and alive 24/7. Thousands of businesses went into a boom time as the population returned to the city looking for work and to start a new life. However, sadly, not everything went out during the Uprising. In recent times, a new mafia had emerged with little challenge from the local government which had caused the locals to really wonder who controlled Southern Union. The obvious signs Rathma and Blackett saw was the drug deallings with under 18's (it's illegal to sell drugs of any kind to under 18's without parent/guardian/s) but it suddenly changed when one of the mafia thugs walked towards them. He was wearing a simple jacket, trousers, shirt and joggers when he approaches the pair.

"You good gentlemen must be having a stressful day," the man started as Blackett raised an eyebrow. "May I interest you in some female company for one night?"

"You're a bit game coming out straight forward like that," started Blackett. "Aren't you worried about the cops?"

"Cops?" laughed the man. "They don't come into this part of town. We can bash the living crap out of one and they won't lift a finger against us. Now, do you want a bit of female company? We recently got an Indian woman and she has being a favourite with the younger men," the man suggested as he showed Blackett a photo of a dark skinned woman. "Doesn't she look hot?" the man suggested as Blackett couldn't look at it any longer. "What's wrong with him? Can't he face a beautiful woman?"

"Don't worry about him," replied Rathma as he lied into the thugs face. "It sort of reminds him of a lover that died recently," lied Rathma as the thug quickly put the photo away to avoid a fight. "It's not you mate, so don't worry about it. Who runs the mafia now? I heard Fat Toney died several years ago,"

"Its Black Daniel's great nephew, Jospeh Assh, but everyone calls him Big Joe," replied the thug. "Now, he ain't no tubby compared to Fat Tony. Big Joe got that name because of his height," explained the thug. "I must be going," he concluded as he vanished into the crowds while Rathma headed back to Blackett.

"What's wrong?" Rathma asked him as Blackett pulled himself together.

"That damn bastard," muttered Blackett. "That photo, that was our sister damnit and now we haven't got a lead,"

"Calm yourself," stated Rathma. "We may have lost our first lead, but we can always pick up another," he explained as the pair went further through the city. "If the mafia is at large and bribing the police force, then there is sure to be public advertising. We just need to find a small spark to light a forest fire,"

It was then that Rathma felt a bit inease as he recognised a small number of the former militia unit he created during the Union Uprising. It was bad enough taking his older brother through his old city but, it was going to start questioning him about his beliefs and morals. It would take a miracle for Rathma to go unnoticed as he was sure they caught a glimpse of him. However, it could also go to his advantage but it could also start a fight. He still didn't know how the elements of the militia felt after the defeat at Lin Canyon.

Jin Pacific Ocea
Chain of Islands off the coast of Southern Union
Around Midnight

On one of the islands, a yacht quietly swayed against the waves in the bay as a group of mafia thugs sat down on the beach waiting for the slavers to arrive. With them was Big Joe standing about 6 foot 7 and two suitcases filled with 100 million United States Dollars. Sitting in the nearby bay was a cargo ship ready to take the slaves to Southern Union. It was to dock into mafia controlled ports and from there, the 'products' would be sent to various locations around Chan'vax City and the other port cities and towns. They already bribed part of the police force but the coast guard weren't accepting the bribes which meant it could be difficult getting the 'products' into Southern Union.

Big Joe quietly sat on a rock as his tall thin body kept watched over the suitcases. He had bought with him about 20 well trained and well equipped mafia thugs in case something went wrong with the slaves. However, he had hope that the Slave Traders had a firm control over them. Nevertheless, he was always prepared unlike his father (Fat Tony, KIA by Rathma Phoenix who was commander of the Mafia Militia during the Union Uprising), he was going to listen to the officers that controlled what little he had of a militia force.

The original militia force was formed during the Union Uprising in 2006 under the training and the command of Rathma Phoenix. Because of Rathma's leadership skills and tactician abilities, they became a difficult force when the Vamperial Forces fought against them. The militia was also responsible for the capture of villages, towns and cities as the force marched northward and into Northern Union. In the height og the war, the militia had surrounded Man'ionvax Port City which was the last stronghold of the Vamperial Forces. During the siege, Black Daniel died from cancer and he announced Fat Tony (his nephew) was to take charge. This was the main reason why the militia and the mafia failed as a force. Rathma suddenly found himself withdrawn from the frontline to keep an eye on Johanna (Black Dnaiel's daughter), whom he promised Black Daniel to protect. Because of this, he lost his position to Hesston who had no combat experience and little leadership skills. This gave the Vamperial Order time to deployed Vamp's Militia until more reinforcements arrived. Vamp's Militia broke out of the seige, encircled the mafia commanders on the frontline and pushed the Mafia Militia back. From there, it was one defeat after the next for the Mafia Militia with the only victories when Rathma fought rear-guard actions. During the last hours of the war only a battalion (750 men) were left in the militia from the original 400,000. Most were KIA (Killed in Action), went missing, deserted or defected to the Vamperial Order. Rathma's defection to the Vamperial Order was the offical last move the mafia made. From there, Rathma gave the mafia positions away to the Vamperial Order as long Vamp kept his end of the bargain. Vamp could do whatever he wanted to Rathma (Rathma expected a slow death since he committed treason) as long as Johanna returned to Chan'vax City in Southern Union. However, since Vamp had little knowledge, he sparred Rathma's life which surprised the entire Vamperial Order. Shortly afterwards, Fat Tony was KIa by Rathma Phoenix when he lead a small force against the mafia and killed all the mafia leaders. Vamp then used Rathma to hunt down the last elements of the mafia, drug smugglers and gun runners. The war ended offically in 2010 after 5 years of fighting. 10 years later, the mafia started up again with Big Joe as their leader. Because of his past 5 years in the military, he was able to unite all the illegal dealers and controlled the Criminal Underworld of Union with an iron fist. However, unlike Rathma, he was never able to create his own militia force. This gave him a disadvantage and is forced to depend upon bribes and assassinations against the Police and the Government Forces.

"Joe, we got a ship coming in and it ain't a Coast Guard Clipper," reported in one of his thugs as they lit up a beacon to guide the ship into the bay.

"Shouldn't be long now," smiled Joe.

OOC:

This is early PMT Tech, character RP thread. Now I've already asked Unker (as the slave traders since his country are doing slave trading) and Lamoni (asked him to help out with the militia) to take part in the thread. Now, if you wish to take part, please either PM me, TG me or ask me on MSN (if you have it) because I wish to discuss the ending. Please, no invasions. This is for people they enjoyed a bit of criminal activity.

Aboard the Gira Teufel Corp Convoy
Chain of Islands off the coast of Southern Union

The Gira crawled slowly through the choppy seas, no lights on and no radio chatter it was clear that the Gira did not want to be seen. Instead her crew monitored the sea by use of night vision devices and passive radars.

For a merchant vessel the Gira was lightly armed, a contingent of twenty armed crewman as well as numerous mounted .50 cal and 20mm cannon positions.
there were even caches for stinger missile launchers and two turrets each with two Harpoon anti shipping missiles.

For all her armament the Gira looked ragged, her hull paint was chipped and rust marks were everywhere. There was also a fine stench that bellowed out from the bowels of the ship.

This was in part due to her cargo. Humans, hundreds of them cramped into shipping containers that had been altered to have individual cells within them the smell of sweat, human excrement and in some instances rotting flesh filled the lower decks.

In the crews health interests they did not go below without first donning special hazmat suits and breathing masks. This was not the norm for Teufel corp transports who typically put great emphasis on ensuring cargo survivability, however the dealings set up with forces in South Union was a deal that had to be kept under wraps even back at home.

Behind the Gira, two other vessels in similar states of decay followed, they too carried this most horrid of cargoes. Mostly in an effort to ensure that the full order would be sold, since already dozens of slaves had succumbed to the conditions of the voyage.

"There, that way, I see them!"

Shouted one of the crew perched precariously atop the old lookout platform, as the large vessel began to turn listing in the choppy seas within a matter of minutes the Teufel corp. convoy would arrive with their perspective buyers, on one of the sister ships the loud thudding of rotor blades soon broke through the silent night air as Mr Nurland the Teufel corp representative for this sale, and his entourage set to make contact and ensure they were in the right place.

"Keep tabs on the sonar and radar," ordered Joe as he spotted three ships entering the bay. "The last thing we need is the Vamperial Forces breaking the house down,"

"Sure sir," replied one of the thugs as he started to make contact with the cargo ship Mia in the other bay to start the approach.

Joe watched the slave traders finally arrive as it bought a smile onto his face. He patiencetly waited for the chopper to land as he straighten up his suit as a handful of well armed thugs stood beside him. They weren't sure what was going to happen and either did they wanted trouble with the Coastguard. The thugs were armed with M-16 assault rifles that were bought off the Black Market and a semi-automatic pistol each.

"Quite impressive," whispered Joe to himself as he raised his arm above his face as the chopper landed and caused a minor sand storm to blow around them. After the helicopter landed and the representives of the company climbed out, Joe came forward to greet them.

"You must be the representives for the products my company needs to buy," started Joe as he came to introduced himself as four thugs formed up behind them, with the M16's in visible sight and one holding a steel briefcase. "My name is Joesph Ashvein and I'm here to buy your products. I trust they're in good condition?" he asked them as he clicked his fingers and the thug with the briefcase came forward. "The payment is in the breifcase,"

Nurland spoke loudly to be heard over the constant buzzing of the rotor blades, flanked himself by his own guards, clad in body armor and wearing other tactical gear.

"Your transaction is an under the radar affair...certain compromises had to be made in transporting your goods...if you wish you may come aboard and inspect your shipment.

Regardless the sooner we can unload the stocks the better."
