(for those of you who are following my typhoon, this takes place after that)

In the weeks after the storm, life seemed to be assimilating back to normal. Cleaning was coming along quickly and business was opening up again. And Ang Philippines was now continuing it's international diplomacy. Neo-Ixania had sent a diplomatic inquiry and the Monarchs accepted. One monarchy to another it would be pleasurable. And hopefully the Ixanians would enjoy their tour of the Capital City and the country. But importantly they would make a new friend in the international community.

Jozefo began his mornings like usual before Breakfast with his family he prayed at the chapel for good health and safety and for his people as they continued to rebuild their lives.

He ate with his family, his son, daughter wife, and was ready.

The Iranian transport arrived and the reps were taken to the Palace.

"King Jozefo XVL is very excited to meet you along with his whole family. They've been looking forward to your meeting."

It was yet another day in the Ixanian Empire with the millions of citizens tuning in to hear the latest hits from Ixanian bands on their car radioes, enjoying fine breakfasts with their wives and children, and heading off to school in time for their exams. The Ixanian Empire had long been dormant for some seemingly unknown reason, the world's events not making much of an impact here. In the Imperial Palace - the bastion of Ixanian monarchism - the Empress and her family were enjoying a fine meal, the Empress was feeding her firstborn son with her own hand, feeling that her position surely shouldn't prevent her from doing what mothers all over Ixania had done for centuries.

Today was the day that the Empress would be visiting the Philippines to discuss the creation of diplomatic relations - it was time for the Ixanian diplomatic machine to restart itself after its caretakers returned from the 'unexpected vacation' according to commentators. The Empress did not mind that her beloved Henri and their son would be staying behind in Ixania. Henri, besides, had his own engagements to deal with and their son needed at least one parent to be around him. After she changed her cloathes, Anastasia II looked to see Ivan Rucinsky waiting for her as he sometimes would - he, as the Foreign Minister, would accompany his liege lady wherever she went. Slipping into a motorcade, the Empress and the Foreign Minister ventured through the busy streets of the capital towards the airport. The streets were filled with a white skinned mosaic of people - businessmen heading to work, schoolgirls giggling in the streets, schoolboys headbanging as they walked to the songs of Kreide - Chalk - an Ixanian German band well known throughout the land for their powerful music and disturbingly appealing music videos.

The Empress still maintained her beauty despite the aging process - her picture still adorned fashion magazines and the currency of the Ixanian Empire with the national motto surrounding the bust of her head, printed underneath the exquisitely detailed sketch of her face. Empress Anastasia had been well known for her looks - perhaps it was those same looks which garnished her roster of titles with that colony in Belkaros - and so was Ivan Rucinsky although he had already been blessed with a wife and children, his family-inclined heart allowing him to carve friendships for his beloved homeland, although you could say his years of experience under Anastasia's father certainly helped him. The trek to the airport did not take too long, and it was easy to get into the private jet because it was always kept in complete preparation if needed. When the plane got into the skies, the Empress looked over some reports on the Philippines. She had heard about the typhoon and plenty of people wished them well.

After they had landed, and gone through the usual routine, Ivan Rucinsky smiled. "We are glad to be here in your nation. May you direct us to His Majesty and his family?"

Ivan bowed. "I must say that you have forgotten that the Empress of Ixania is standing right beside me but that is something petty - we do not have to mull over it. We are glad to be here at what we hope will be a mutually beneficial and productive meeting."

The Empress smiled. "I am the Empress of Ixania, Anastasia the Second. It is a pleasure to meet you both. Mr. Rucinsky is my faithful Foreign Minister and I am sure we will all get along quite well. Shall we begin?"

"And it's a fine pleasure, to meet you Empress." The King said.

"Please pardon our not introducing you. He's new."

"I'm sure your aware of our recent storm, as you can see much of the country is still in clean up."
