New Cairo, Egypttiansstan --Confederate officials said early this morning that four civilian contractors were killed last night in the city of Minya. Three of the four men were killed in a grenade attack, while the fourth was killed in a gruesome beheading, shown over the internet from the Allah's Sword website.

Immediately after the attack, Minya residents cheered and pulled charred bodies from burning vehicles and hung them from a Euphrates River bridge. The survivor, forty five year old Cassius Blackplate, was dragged several feet from the wreckage by masked gunmen before one of the men drew a large knife and decapitated the wounded Blackplate before a crowd of onlookers.

The crowds that gathered around the vehicle dragged at least one of the bodies through the streets, witnesses said, and residents pulled another body from one of the cars and beat it with sticks.

The four civilians killed were employees of Griffincrest Oil Incorporated, a company providing security for the Confederate government in the city.

"This is not going to stop us from doing our mission," said Imperial Guard Commander Marcus Ravenclaw. "In fact, it would be disgracing the deaths of these people if we were to stop our mission." He later vowed to avenge these deaths, and more Imperial Guard troops are expected to be moving into the city to support the garrison of Griffincrest contractors already there.

A Confederate press secretary called the incident in Minya "offensive" and "despicable," urging the media to act "responsibly in their coverage of it."

The video also shows their vehicle turned onto a Minya street as men, whose faces were covered by head scarves, split into two groups and threw hand grenades at the cars, witnesses said. The assailants then sprayed the burning cars with small-arms fire. Chaotic scenes follow, ending with crowds chanting and cheering at the scene, with charred corpses hanging from the bridge over the Euphrates.

After a lul in attacks recently, bombs struck home earlier today at the Eclipse Military Academy.

A suicide bomber killed 10 military recruits in the northwestern town of Fort Beaufort on Monday, the military said, the first major attack in several weeks.

The bombing was near an army-run school within the Confederate border, many miles away from Egypttiansstan, or any other major city for that matter.

In the attack, nine soldiers were killed instantly and one died later in the hospital, a military official said. Three more soldiers were wounded, two of them seriously.

"The bomber was on foot and blew himself up as he got close to the soldiers who were returning from the football field after a game" said military spokesman, Major-General Servius Greyshirt.

Investigators later recovered the severed head and legs of the bomber.

"He is clean-shaven and appears to be 19 or 20 years old," a police official said.
