In a small parlor off the building's main hallway, Premier Kazyenko sat comfortably in a large, reclining chair reading the morning newspaper and enjoying his first of many cups of coffee for the day. He took great pleasure in this small respite of chaos and hecticism that was often attributed to running one of the world's largest and equally powerful nations. In this small room, away from the clamor of everyday life inside the Kazyenko Independence Tower, the Premier could be at ease. He began clamoring through the newspaper, casting fliers and unwanted articles upon the floor like a child would cast wrapping paper on his birthday or Christmas. Naturally, it was all biased articles about the world's problems, phony and ridiculous predictions to come, updates on trials, anything you'd normally find in a paper. Each false article or headline he read made him smile, until he came to page P1 of the World Events section. Hidden deep within the 30-some odd page paper was an article about the small island nation of Qingzi, and their presumed "harboring" of terrorists and foreign agents that posed a serious risk to Falkasian security. With a smile and slight laugh, he began reading the article, not a frequent occurance.

His expression slowly changed from that of light-hearted content to annoyance and then slight anger. At first, he though it was yet more bias and false media, but upon reading deeper, he realzied how much of a threat this nation actually was. Only last week, the FIA had foiled a terror plot to release chlorine gas throughout Ekaterine's water supply, of which would likely have resulted in millions of casualties. Luckily, they had acted on it at the right time, the only casualties being the terrorists themselves. Despite the success, victory was short-lived. It was almost instantly determined that the mastermind behind the attack was not amongst the dead, instead having used cold-hearted Varangius mercenaries for the wet-work. All leads had since then become dry, so no further effort had been made in tracking him down.

It was this article however, that provided the lead they had all been looking for, and reignited the urge to find him. Deep inside Kazyenko's head, he had resolved that the terrorist, the planner behind many heinous attacks, would and had to be found here. Standing up, he quickly collected all the papers he had thrown helter-skelter upon the floor and shoved them into the crease of his arm. Grabbing for the coffee with his other hand, he exited the room and began walking down the long, marble-laden hall towards the Executive Meeting Room. Along the way, he signalled an aide to alert the ministers and to prepare the room for a briefing. The time to act was now.

III Duce Zimarhaf Naijarobi was sitting in his office, drinking a glass of nice, warm Carribean Rum. This was his typical day when there weren't any meetings or events going on. He picked up the International Paper and began to read it. Typical events going on. Genocide, war, famine, terrorism. He skimmed through it until his eye caught something.

It was an article on the nation of Qingzi harboring terrorists. He knew about how this could be a potential threat to his new nation. He had to take action to be sure.

"Anderson! Call for an emergency meeting in the Situation Room! I want everyone in there or on video call in the next hour!"

Tenking, Qingzi.
Prime Minister Len Ming Huang sat in the large green chair that made up the centerpiece of his office. The windows of the Central Palace hung open, allowing a cool breeze to flow into the office. The relaxing sound of the cool ocean breeze and the seagulls outside pleased his ears. It was hard to believe that in other parts of the island snow was actually falling.

He stared into the computer monitor as the screens images reflected off his glasses. He enjoyed surfing through the news agencies of other natons and seeing what happened in the world. Qingzi was a small nation, mainy pacifist and focused solely on the protection of her people. Qingzi sttod as a trade outpost in East Asia, from the begining of time Quingzi had been rich. Being a center piece in sea trade for thousands of years had build a stable, 1st world economy for the small nation. The Qingzi government belived in helping people, so the immigration laws on the island were rather lax. as long as you had a passport, you could get in.

Then out of the blue, an article struck him. It was ona Falkasian news agency, Qingzi Suspected of Harboring Terrorists. "What?" Huang asked himself, of course, perhaps terrorist had passed through Qingzi, but harboring them? Never. Never in a million suns would Qingzi support terrorism. He looked down at his desk phone. "Ming! Get me President Kazyenko on the phone!" He picked up the phone and held it to his ear. The bland tone of the ring could be heard as he waited.

The Indestructable Carrier Group was moving through the water at a moderate speed. Not Far away from the Nation of Qingzi. The Fleet was at normal operating stance.

OOC: Nice posts guys. Only thing I'd recommend is really just to cleanup a few spelling/grammar mistakens, and you should be good. Just s bit of information. Had this been something other than a practice RP, my leader would have been much more cautious and less likely to jump on something without thinking.

The phone in Kazyenko's office rang, sending the shrill sound echoing against the deep, rich redwood that made up the wall and cabinets. It was left to ring, and it would continue ringing, as nobody was in the room nor could the sound be heard outside the thick, steel-reinforced double doors that made up the office's frontal facade. Eventually thought, it was picked up by an overly curious aide snooping in on the Premier's office and redirected to the conference room. Despite that, it would never reach the Premier and was instead lost in connection by the operator.

======

Kazyenko himself sat at the head of the elongated, oval-shaped table, surronded by his ministers of whom had already sat down or where just coming in. Directly in front of him was his briefing packet, beside that his all important coffee. The clock struck 9 AM, the lights dimmed, Kazyenko stood up and began speaking.

"As you all know, it was only last week that we successfully foiled an attack on this great country. It was a half-hearted victory though, as the mastermind behind it was unable to be captured and instead faded away into the white noise of this world. Well, it brings me great relief that the most probable location for such a man has been found; the island nation of Qingzi."

He motioned to an aide in the room who in turn activated a projector and bathed the room in an artifical blue glow. On the wall directly behind Kazyenko, the image of the suspected terrorist appeared. This was then replaced by a map of Qingzi and possible invasion locations. He turned to face the Admiral and General.

"I'm going to assume you know the drill," he said, motioning to the map with his right hand.
"Get troops on the ground, get me this terrorist, and get the hell out."

The doors to the meeting room suddenly swung open, resulting in a flash of bright, blinding light flitering into the darkened room. An aide appeared, searching for Kazyenko amongst the other men.
"Sir, I'm sorry to interrupt, but the leader of Qingzi is on Line One."

Tenking, Qingzi.
PM Huang waited for a few more moments. He rubbed his temples in frustration. "Shit." He hung up the phone. He then picked it up again and speed dialed the Department of Homeland Security. "Len, its Huang, I wan't you to tell command to activate the network. Activate all reserves, ballistic defense systems, ships and battle groups. I have a suspicion of war. Watch for any ships near our waters and put all civilians on alert." The man on the other end agreed and hung up.

Across Taiwan.
The entire island lit up. Every soldier was to report to their post within 24 hours or face punishment. All ships were making patrols around the island and all the jets were fueled. The coastal bunkers began to fill as soldiers made their way to their posts.

Massive artillery and anti ship guns preceded to watch the coast for any sign of attack. The government tried diplomacy, and they didn't even get a response.

The III Duce sat down in the Situation Room with several of his officials. The names included: Vice Roy Coup Otenance, General Victor Alfala, General Robert Marlawi, Emilia Blundt, and even Trimboli Frech.

"Now, as you all may know by now, I was reading an article regarding Qingzi harboring terrorists. Recently our great nation was attacked by a pirate group. They stole numerous supplies that were issued to the military. Our great Navy managed to eraticate the pirates. However, some had escaped from our prisons due to terrorists breaking them out. Thirty-six were killed during the breakout, and all of them got away. There were rumors going around regarding them entering Qingzi. I will let Frech fill you in on that" stated the esteemed man.

"Thank you for that introduction Mr. Naijarobi. Well our intel picked up word from spies in the Eastern-Asia region that the pirates and terrorists managed to enter Qingzi. They also suggest that Qingzi had a history of harboring criminals. So we must take action to avenge our people for what these people have done to us."

General Marlawi spoke up.
"And how may you suggest we do this? In case you forgot we have a small military to even fight them! How are we going to capture these terrorists? If what your saying is true, why would Qingzi give up these people?"

"Well aparently the nation of Falkasia are wanting to avenge their people after a terrorist got away from them into Qingzi. So if we can establish communications with them, we could set up a joint operation and bring Qingzi to their knees." replied Frech.

"Well all in favor of establishing communications with Falkasia, say so now."

Within ten seconds Frech, The III Duce, Blundt, Alfala, and Otenance voted "Aye".

"Well there it is, Anderson, communicate with Falkasia, and tell them we are interested in helping them out!"

Takaram's Chief Defense Office General Ronald Strauss sat at his situation table, watching one of his advisers talk in front of a satellite image.
"As you can see, we've noted a major increase in activity on and around the nation of Qingzi. It appears that a Falkasian newspaper wrote an article that implicated Qingzi in harboring a terrorist responsible for an attack in Falkasia last week. It appears that we may have a small war brewing in that area." With that, the adviser stepped down.
"Damn. Has the Council been alerted to this?" asked Strauss
"Yes sir. They have put out an official statement saying that Takaram will defend Qingzi should it come to war, and they have ordered us to dedicate a force to that region for the time being."
"Alright." Strauss turned to Fleet Admiral Adama, the head of the Takaram Navy. "What fleets do we have in that region?"
Adama looked at a paper in front of him. "The nearest attack group, headed by the Prometheus, can be in the area in two hours."
"Good. Do it." With that, Strauss returned to his office and prepared a message for Qingzi.

To: Department of Homeland Security, Qingzi
From: Office of Defense, Takaram

We are aware of the possibility of war soon breaking out in your region. In the interest of promoting peace, I am dedicating several assets of Takaram to defending your nation.

It's a normal day at the Ministry of Defense building in Hatzia. A nice cup of hot coffee was on the table. Field Marshall Juan Henry Pulag is sat on the chair, picked up the current newspaper. He read some of the headlines until he went to the Foreign Section and shocked when he read "Situation of the coast of Qingzi", it states that Falkasian Navy has sent several ships to Qingzi due to alleged harboring of terrorists to their country. Field Marshall Pulag said "Harboring terrorists?!!" Pulag grabbed the phone and yelled "Meeting Room, NOW!!!" and hanged it up.

Field Marshall Pulag ordered a meeting. The staff of the Red Armed Forces of Martilia gathered up and plan if they will join the upcoming war on the side of Falkasia. Pulag said "We dont know if these will get into war or even worse, but I'm aware of terrorist activity happening here on the mountain regions of Martilia, and we dont let partisans/terrorists hamper our government". One of the Field Marshall named Kanleo Gurta, chief of the Red Martilian Navy, said "Well, sir I can dispatch our 3 newly commissioned Stalin-class Battleships with several Chernobyl-class Missile Cruisers and several Kalinin-class Destroyers". Pulag answered "Not now. Hmm....i'll sent a letter to Falkasian government about this".

Pulag wrote a letter and sent a messenger to deliver the letter to the leader of Falkasia

TO: Falkasia Government
FROM: Minister of Ministry of Defense of USSM

To whom it may concern,

I received a report today in the newspaper of a imminent war between Qingzi and your country, Falkasia. I'm aware with the terrorists who is hampering our country and try to destablize our current Communist government, even before our Communist government was formed, the terrorists are there. As I heard that Qingzi is harboring terrorists, these shocked the Martilian government as we dont even think that Qingzi will be affiliated to terrorists acts or duties. The Martilian government is currently at your side and ready to support you in the upcoming war. I've ordered our valiant Red Navy, especially the Red Carrier Taskforce to be ready any minute in case you need help against the Qingzi. Even though a war has not yet been started, we wish you a Good Luck and hope you suceed.

Regards,
Juan Henry Pulag
Minister of the Ministry of Defense of USSM

Pulag announced that "Alright, we will wait for the reply of Falkasia leaders and see if they will reply, but Gurta, send 9 Chernobyl-class Missile Cruisers to the coast of Qingzi. We need to tighten up our security and tell them to keep an eye for Qingzi Warships who might try to attack Martilia"

OOC: Back everybody, sorry. Had to go in a hurry. Also, I haven't deployed ships to the coast yet.

A bit annoyed, Kazyenko left the meeting room and allowed his ministers to debate over his proposition. Escorted back into his office, he sat down and reached for the phone, bringing the monotone device within hearing range. Leaning back and closing his eyes for a brief moment, he spoke into the reciever.
"Operator, put the Qingzi leader through. I'm not about to sacrifice Falkasian lives if we can avert this, but then again, I'm not about to make concessions."
The operator on the other end, in a highly feminine voice replied, "Yes sir, patching through."
The breathing of the Qingzi leader could be heard on the other end only moments after. Speaking once more into the reciever, Kazyenko said, "Hello, who do I have the pleasure of speaking with?"

Meanwhile, a government courier arrived in the main lobby of the Kazyenko Independence Tower by motorcycle, carrying with him a paper sealed inside a small yellow document protector. He was hurried through secruity, and in a short time, arrived on the main governing floor of the building. Quickly walking down the hall, the document was passed off to an aide and was then in turn delievered to Kazyenko's desk.

"Yes, good. This is Premier Kazyenko of Falkasia. I was told you wished to speak to me?"
In the background, Kazyenko began reading over the document that had just been placed on his desk, confirming that the Martilians would be aiding him if needed. He then passed it back to another aide, before signaling to leave the room. Returning his attention back to the phone, he waited for a reply.

Kazyenko smiled. Perhaps he was right, perhaps he wasn't. There was only one way to find out.
"Alright," he said into the reciever,"then let us access to your country so we may search for him ourselves. If not, then we'll have no choice but to forcibly enter your country."
