Today, Grand Ayatollah Aaban has announced a declaration of war upon the Blackhelm Confederacy, in response to their mistreatments of Allah's people. Their recent invasion of Egyptianistan and subsequent occupation only shows the true colors of this internationally loathed state: the annihilation of the people of Islam. This is, in truth, nothing more than a modern crusade, an effort on the part of the infidels to spread their false faith into the lands of Allah.
For years, the infidels have worked tirelessly to exterminate our brothers and the Muslim way of life, but this shall go on no more. With the strength of Allah's Holy Warriors, the Mujahideen, the infidels shall fail in their futile attempts to subjugate our people! Long live the Warriors of Islam! Long live Jihad!
Several Confederate soldiers have been killed in recent strikes, including a suicide martyr in Greensway Square, killing dozens. Additionally, Mujahideen snipers have begun harrassing Confederate forces theater wide. As he insurgency grows, so too shall the river of blood formed in its wake. Only time can tell the outcome of this war, but whatever it may be, Allah's wisdom has made it so. Allahu Akbar!

A Saarlandi Fighter engages Telviran Forces
Metros Embass Hostage Crisis!
Earlier today, gunmen from the Army for the Liberation of Saarland stormed an embassy in the Telvirian capital city of Metros. Nearly twenty Saarlandi fighters emerged from a series of vans, after a third van had detonated itself, blowing a hole in the gated wall surrounding the building. Within minutes, facility security had been neutralized. Staffers attempted to flee but were ultimately subdued themselves, and have been detained. The leader of the group issued the following statement using the embassy's emergency communications system
We are the Army for the Liberation of Saarland. We have taken the embassy of the Federation of Lingard under our control. If the Telviran government does not withdraw its occupation forces from Saarland in 12 hours, we will kill the hostages and destroy this building. Any attempt to rescue the hostages will result in their deaths. You have 12 hours.
Surely this shall lead to quite a predicament with Telvirian authorities and government officials. More on this story as it develops.
