Given the amount of OOC chatter and potential for lots more, I'm starting an OOC Thread.

You can at least have the decency to let us level off before screwing us over though. You have a huge amount of imperialistic force backing you, which is disproportionate even given this discourse in action.

Nothing is predetermined in RP, my only intention was a series of cross border raids a la Israel and Lebanon. I failed to anticipate the disproportionate level of support Al-Huabid would garner. I have no desire ICly ro occupy Hassid, but I won't rule out one of my allies taking for their own. Of course, all that is moot if you repel the attackers but if we succeed in overthrowing Assad, do you really think I'd install anything but a friendly puppet?

Personally, I prefer cold wars as they have the potential for so much more story telling.

Shortly, I plan to have Hassid transfer control of their legislature and economics over to me, if that's okay. It'd give, I'd hope to imagine, a more realistic and autonomous roleplay for the opposing side (I was hoping you won't be too jaded at the idea)?

I don't mind at all, even given the conflicting ideas. I'm always looking for stuff to do. Sure. But please note that this will not affect my stance on the current RP.

You're welcome to RP Hassid. I'll try to post some more background info on Al-Huabid and Hassin tonight or tomorrow.

Also, did you see me SAM attack on your MiG? I'm delaying the formal launch of the ground war until word of that exchange can filter through my chain of command.

Taboksol: I'm going to assume your MiG eluded my AIM-54s and will ICly commnece military operations either tonight or sometime tomorrow. As today is the last day of the month, I'll be working late and proably wont have time to post.
