Two Intrepid Class Destroyers, equipped with anti-sensor technology that allowed the ships a lower sensor signuture, were flying through a system in the space between the Plantery Republic and the new enemies the Chamberlians. The ships ran sensor sweeps of the system, storing them in her computer banks and transmitting them on encrypted channels back to Starfleet Command.
