The Grand Duchy of Noordeinde opens it's doors to the world! This small pitoresque country was quite closed to the international world but will finally open it's doors to the world. The people who were first affraid of what was further than the horizon WELCOME you to The Grand Duchy of Noordeinde.

First some information about The Grand Duchy of Noordeinde:
The Grand Duchy of Noordeinde is a constitutional monarchy-parlimentary democracy, Our Head of State is The Grand Duke of Noordeinde, but he has no official functions. The Head of Government is Prime-Minister Jonathan Roosevelt. Every 4 years the people elect a new House of Representatives (435 members) and every 3 years a new Senate (100 members). Both chambers form Congress!

Information about the location of the embassy in the country
All embassies will be placed in a beautifull suburb of our Country's Capitol City s'Gravenhage. This suburb lays in a beautifull rural surrounding with lakes and forrests.

Embassy building information.
All embassies will be placed in little castles, mansions, villa's and country houses. All embassies have a yard surrounded by fences with a gate. And in case of an emergency there will be a direct line with the Prime-Minister and his full cabinet, as well as emergency services.

Regulations:
- Only weapons that will be accepted will be: non lethal weapons and pistols or revolvers.
-No militairy vehicles
-No more than 4 vehicles
-All security personnel has to obey the laws of The Grand Duchy of Noordeinde. And has NO diplomatic immunity if mistakes are made.
- All dipomatic personnel has Diplomatic immunity, but if they are corrupt or commit crimes they can become a "persona non grata" and have to leave the country within 24 HOURS
-No more than 35 STAFF members.
-No more than 20 Security Agents
- We prefer NO soldiers as security officers, but every request to have soldiers will be listened to, Congress makes te final vote about this sort of request, NO APPEAl POSSIBLE

Important!!
All convoys of diplomatic personnel will be conducted by special agents of The National Police Force. These Special Agents drive armoured Mercedes-Benz s-class (http://i31.tinypic.com/4ue8hc.jpg) vehicles.

Congress commitee on embassies.
If a country fills in an application to have a embassy in The Grand Duchy of Noordeinde, this application will be judged by a Congress committee. If the applicating country accepts all regulations, This committee will report positive to Congress, who will vote all FOR the acceptance of the application. The PM will sign the application, and that will be the GREEN light to start move your ambassador and staff.

If not all regulations are accepted, The Department of State will let you know what's wrong and what should be done to be accepted.

EDIT: forgot to note, our military is always used to protect our embassies. As such, that's part of the above-noted requirement if we are to have our embassy built in your nation.

Greetings

I have always been curious as to why nations feel the need to arm their embassies. It is not like much could be done if a stable government like yours or mine could not reclaim the land should we wish. What is the point of forces of other than ceremonial usage?

We allow most requests, short of a nukes as we assume they are for that purpose but I it does not reflect well on a nation to appear so defensive.

With my people being non-human we should be more defensive than most, but why when there is little you can do but turn a diplomatic issue into a war by having such forces?

Greetings

I have always been curious as to why nations feel the need to arm their embassies. It is not like much could be done if a stable government like yours or mine could not reclaim the land should we wish. What is the point of forces of other than ceremonial usage?

We allow most requests, short of a nukes as we assume they are for that purpose but I it does not reflect well on a nation to appear so defensive.

With my people being non-human we should be more defensive than most, but why when there is little you can do but turn a diplomatic issue into a war by having such forces?

And afcourse Nukes are prohibited here as well, just like chemical or biological weapons. The only weapons who are allowed are Non lethal weapons and handguns as pistols or revolvers

hmm this could get interesting as our guards are trained in the use of our ceremonial weapons and I can assure you they are quite deadly in the hands of a trained warrior. A blade is a blade, thus I would have to point out our ceremonial weapons are not non-lethal then again neither are side arms.

The commonwealth guard that protect our embassy know how to use a sword and generally will use the flat to deal with moves against the embassy. As in use it as a club rather that a cutting weapon how ever they will, if forced, use it in such a way very effectively. We also have a number of people trained in the use of bows, bullet proof vest don't work against an arrow. We may be advanced but we still keep our old ways alive. This is academic anyway as i doubt this will ever be an issue.

But would you be open to allowing the CMT into your rail market. They are a third owned mutual, one third owned by the employees, one third owned by their customers and the final third owned by the governments that are members. Mass and freight transit is too important to be left under the control of politicians like me or your self, I mean no offence by that.

Along with their flag ship CAT train sets that run at three hundred miles per hour and their multi-megaton pulling MAT systems they bring the work horse HST, commuter trains and trams. We and three other nations have handed control over to them. It has been very successful, but you may wish not to. They build and employ locally rather than importing, as this is the best option for them, you might wined up being the goto guy for trains/mass transit systems in your region.
