Short History-The Kingdom of Telvira was originally the Telviran Confederacy. Founded in 1643 by King Markos I, it was the largest nation of three on the island of Finish, bordering the Principality of Welshire and the Kingdom of Saarland. The Confederacy was the first to industrialize, and shortly after launched a war to conquer the island. In 1856, the entire island was united under the Telviran banner. Then King Markos IV was crowned King of Finisha. In 1884, a secessionist movement called the Northern Alliance broke away from the Confederacy. After a four-year civil war, the Northern Alliance was defeated. The Confederacy was reorganized under a strong king, and it remained this way until 1962, when a popular revolt forced the king to accept a stronger Parliament. The Kingdom has been very isolationist, only recently opening up to the world.
