I'm not actually sure if this is the right place to post this, or if I can even post this at all, but here goes.


Today the nation of Kraveska began the construction of it's first ship, a Nimitz class carrier. The project will cost about $4.6 billion, and will take about 6 years to build.


Does everything sound reasonable?

OOC: What exactly are you looking for with this post, Kraveska? International reaction? Allies? A war?

Im just wondering is this the first ship of your navy or the first one you have built.

If its the first ship of your navy an aircraft carrier alone would not be your best option.

No offense, but noone on NS is really going to give a crap unless this is like the first naval vessel you've built, in which case a supercarrier is a pretty poor choice.

Boxxy Land is secretly going to put a spy on the vessel so we can learn how we can make cool vessels like that, secret squirrel is going to infiltrate so he can get the stuff he needs possibly he shall sabotage the production of the boat afterwards... If the OP read this it doesnt matter due to the fact its a "Secret Message"...

Ralkovia would like to offer to send a party of naval architects and engineers from Bjorn Ship Building to make sure everything with the ship goes well. Since this appears to be your first time building a carrier are advise would be to heed the word of these engineers and architects. Of course this is optional. Again congratulations,

you shoud think of making a smaller ship

[Generally It doesn't matter if you say how many weapons you build for yourself. We run on a honor code. If you're a fairly new nation with a low population, you shouldn't have say twenty Nimitz-class carriers. That'd be impossbile to man and maintain. Decide what works for you roleplay-wise to start with.

When I started, I just said I had a modest 1980s military (Ticonderogas, Arliegh Burkes, Cyclones, Pattons, Chapparals, HMMWVs, etc.) With the help of my regionmate, the lovely Tanaara, I was recieved her hand-me-down PMT weapons (Zumwalts-class like ships, arsenel ships, basic laser defenses, Strykler-esque IFVs) plus manufacturing and technology upgrades. I'm producing a modest number of those vehicles and weapons now, just to round out my forces ie make even task groups and such to my OCD requirements.

You can do the very same. Most new posts are reserved for brand spanking new products to entire others to throw their monopoly money at you and for bragging. Then you have WMD research and production which is usually to start a fight with someone who will no doubt want to stop said research to keep you out of the NBC club.

Me? I'm quite Israeli about my WMD...and I also roleplay a minor satellite nation to a bigger Sunset PMT-Sunrise FT nation.

Give me a bit and I'll post something to get some cooperation between our nations.]
