The Fedeation Coast Guard Cutter Valiant cut through the water. Ships CO, Captain Tom Markwright stood at the front of the ship watching as the water parted in the way of the Ship. Looking up he could see the blue sky above the blue sea below. Tom frowned as he saw a ship in the Distance. Seconds later the General Alarm sounded. Tom turned and ran to the Control room.

"Captain in Control" A Ensign sounded as Tom arrived.
"Alright, lay it out for me" Tom ordered.
"Powered Yaught, class III, not authorised, no clear markings, no flag" One of the Weapons System Officers replied.
"Double checked on the Authorisation?" Tom asked.
"Yes sir, shouldn't be here"
"Alright lets comm them" Tom ordered taking a mouthpeice and nodding to WSO.
"Unidentified Vessel of our Port Bow, this is the Coast Guard Cutter Valiant, please state your intetions at this time" Tom Instructed.
Silince from the Radio.
"Nothing" the WSO commented.
"Alright, intercept course, launch the Helo" Tom Ordered.

As the Ship headed towards the yaucht A Jayhawk lifted off from the Ship and began to fly towards the Yaucht. Once it arrived it maintained postion in front of it. The Helicoptor Pilot announced using a speaker.
"Unidentified vessel, cut engines immediatly and prepare to be boarded"
The Spotter gasped as he saw something on the yauch.
"Weapon, WEAPON, WEAPON!" He shouted.
The Chopper pulled away and took up postion behind. Seconds After the Message was sent back to the Ship the Valiant fired a warning shot from her Gun. The Yaucht eventually came to a stop and the Valiant pulled along side.

The captain of the yaucht had seen the shot land past the bow... The navigator looked up

"Sir, we're being fired upon!!

captain:" Don't you think I know?"..."any luck with the radio?"

"Nothing yet sir, it was pretty banged up after that storm"

The military vessel pulled up along side it.

Captain: " I'm positive they've tried to contact us..alert the team of the situation, and stand by for a possible bording action.......and cut the engines"

"Will do"

The captain was angry....everything was going perfect...and now this?

Tom Announced over loud hailer.
"Unidentified Yaucht, place weapons on the deck, have your crew stand against the side rail, prepare to be boared"
FCG Enlisted Crewmen, Armed with MP5's stood ready to board the Yaucht. Other Enlisted Crew began to send over a gangplank.

In a nondescript building, a man was huddled over a computer, listening intently into a pair of headphones. As he heard the cutter report in, he picked up a cell phones and dialed a number. "Hello? Yah, it's me, Lucas. Listen, the Coast Guard intercepted our friends. Yah, them. This could get bad quick. I'll keep listening, in the meantime you know what to do? Good." Lucas hung up the cell phone and continued to listen in.

The captain had heard the order...

Captain:"there are too many of them......very well, issue the order, and do what he says....Tell the Major to get his team up on deck as well, with all weapons."

"yes sir"

On deck, 8 crew members stood against the rail, while 6 people in obvious military garb brought up boxes, and weapons cases. They stood open, revealing Beretta Storm Carbines, Glock pistols, G36k assault rifles, stun grendades, as well as several medium sized closed boxes. After the last case was brought up, they stood with the crew, and waited further contact from the Coast Guard ship.

The crew were brought onboard the ship, in silent, though stares were exchanged.

At the Colonial Defense Headquarters, Admiral Gaius Johnstone was in a foul mood

"No one knows what happened to our team....the last we heard, the mission was accomplished!"

A young Lt. replied "Last we heard, they were moving into a storm, to avoid tracking by enemy forces"

Gen: Could they have been ship wrecked?

Lt: Not likley, it was a small storm, and a very experienced crew

Gen:"Any word from our friends in Comorostan?"

Lt:"nothing yet si--"

An officer rushed into a room, with a piece of paper in his hand..

Officer: "General, satelite imaging picked up this in the suspected aftermath photos of the storm."

The picture showed two boats alongside each other, one obviously military, and the other appeared to be a civillian ship of some sort.

Gen"That has to be them...tell any of our ships in the area, to maintain a distance of 5 km, and attempt to radio the unknown military vessel."

One man stood on the deck of the aged Yacht. In his hands were a pair of binoculars, through which, he watched the Coast Guard ship, and the other yacht, quite carefully. As he stood watched, two men, came on deck, and quickly put up the flag of the Complex Bureaucracy of St Fabian. Before returning to the cabin. The yacht was currently running on sails, which meant it really wasn't going anywhere with these winds. The deck of the yacht, had a few things on it, and most were covered by tarps. Hopefully, they could slip by, unnoticed.

The captain, continued to watch from the deck, as the men on the yacht surrendered to the other ship. He was soon interrupted, however, when a crewman came up to him. "Sir, there is an unidentified ship, approaching from the South, approximately 60 km out."
The captain was displeased. all this military activity around. It just wasn't good. "Understood, do you have the sat-photo with you?" The crewman handed it to him. It appeared to be military. Were they moving to intercept them? "Stow all the cargo, and prepare for the possibility of boarding," the captain said, as he looked back towards the other Yacht.

"The ISF will be outside your room in two minutes. Get moving. Destroy everything." Lucas was shaking. "OK." he put down the phone, then grabbed a pistol off his bedside table and began firing into the computer. After five shots and some kicking, the hardrive was totally destroyed. Lieutenant Smith winced involuntarily as a wave splashed over the periscope. He glanced briefly at the new inexperienced planesman. "Jimmy?"

The Diving Officer stepped up beside him.

"Take the bow planes, Jimmy."

The Diving Officer stepped over to the planesman, tapped him on the shoulder and hooked his thumb in an unmistakeable step-aside gesture. He slid into the planesman's seat and took the familiar bow-plane wheel in his hands.

"Take us up a meter," Smith said. The grey water slowly dropped below the periscope. He could see what looked like a yacht and a coast guard cutter. "Lot's of drama," he said, mostly to himself.

The captain, probably wouldn't have noticed it, if he hadn't been staring at the other two ships, quite close to the yacht, a periscope popped up. He had not noticed it before, because it was so low in the water, but not, it was up enough for him to see it. "Wow, this radar absorbent material, is really nifty," he muttered to himself. The yacht had it's engines off, drifting in the wind, so no sonar would detect them. If he wanted to, he could probably swim to the submarine, but that would be foolish. Now, his binoculars drifted from the coast guards ship and yacht, to this new arrival, the submarine periscope.

Lieutenant Smith stood with his feet apart and his arms hooked over the pericsope handles.

"Engines," the sonar operator reported suddenly, "bearing two-four-oh. Sounds big and fast."

Smith turned to look at the newcomer but he couldn't see anything yet.

There was another yacht on the scene now though, too close for comfort - at least it looked like a yacht, but something didn't seem right about it.

"It's like Saturday afternoon at the mall," he muttered to himself. He knew they were in Lingards waters and he assumed that the coast guard cutter belonged there. Who the two yachts were and who the approaching ship was, he didn't much care. "It's getting too crowded," he said, out loud this time. "Down periscope." He folded the handles as the scope slid down into its well. "All astern one third." He turned to the Diving Officer who was still at the planes. "Take her down to sixty meters, Jimmy. We'll pop up a little later, maybe, and see if things have quieted down."

The Chief Engineer, a tall and lanky man for a submariner, threaded himself through the watertight doorway and into the control room. He approached with a clipboard and a worried look, but engineers always look worried, Smith reflected.

"The batteries are getting a bit low," the engineer reported. "We'll need to charge soon or I can't give you full power."

Smith wrinkled his forehead. "I'm not going to snorkel inside somebody else's territorial waters," he said, trying not to sound annoyed. "Jimmy," he called over his shoulder, "How far to international waters?"

"A kilometer or so."

"That's only three minutes at full ahead - allowing for a reasonable 'or so'." Smith turned back to the engineer. "Can you give me twenty knots for three minutes?"

"Sure. Now." The older man scowled slightly. "If you're going to keep putzing around, I won't promise it later."

Smith smiled. "Okay. Let me know before it's too late. As much as I'd love to take her home right now, we have to earn our big bucks somehow, don't we?"

The captain, started to wonder if they had been detected. No radio chatter had indicated so, are at least he had not been notified of such, and the ship did not appear to be moving to apprehend. He relaxed, however kept his binoculars focused on the coast guard ship. This was the crucial moment, and they would soon, if they had not yet, cross over into Lingard's waters. The fact that action had not been made, to intercept them as of yet, indicated that the yacht had not been detected.
