HAPPY ACRES DECLARES WAR ON MEWSLAND!

Today, the Republic of Happy Acres declared war on Mewsland for retaliation against a trade embargo recently placed against the nation of Happy Acres by the Federation of Mewsland. Mewsland responds that the embargo was necessary due to the horrible civil rights and political freedoms within Happy Acres. As it stands, Happy Acres is set to win with an armed force twice the size of Mewsland, however, with Mewsland's numerous tactical satellites in space, it becomes a large toss-up. Both nations ask for any nations willing to join them to do so.

But they are the greatest of enigmas in my mind, for they hold so much cunning, so much power, so much greed behind their innocent eyes, and even one such as I will never comprehend such contradictory monsters. So it was with great interest and enthusiasm that I grapsed upon the task given to me by my master. We are going to appoint our minister of war Thomas Anonymous for this war... Well we did in advance, our first action is going to be...

"Hooded men in masks move down the streets of Mewsland armed to the teeth and with bombs strapped to their chests". "Running towards the lobby of a Mewsland Hotel, they begin to scream get your hands down or we will blow your brains out laughing psychotically." "They then press the timer so it can count down... 5 Seconds to go..." "The bomb then blows up killing atleast 50 and causing war tensions between Mewsland and Boxxy Land.

Thomas Anonymous's statements, this action was a warriors action against Mews Land for being a cowardly state of no good whiners who declare embargos. Let it be known that we do NOT deal with this in the happiest manner possible.

On a small, desolate, lifeless planet near where the battle would soon be beginning, the fabric of time and space began to shift. The air began to shimmer, the ground started to tremble, the seas began to boil. And with an almighty and resounding sound that only space being ripped apart can make, a huge tear in reality burst into the material world.

After a few seconds, a small and furry claw burst through the portal, its form warped and distorted as it shifted itself into the material world. Then a great, dog-like snout pushed itself through, snapping and screaming. It pulled itself out, leathery bat wings snapping out from its back. With a victorious cry, it took flight, soaring above the portal as more of its kin started to pull theirselves through.

With several dozen of the furies trying to pull themselves through, the portal widened, and more monsters ripped through into the mortal realm. The tear enlarged, and a great laughter peeled out from the depths of the immaterium. A huge, clawed hand burst out of the portal, and then an immense foot stepped through, shaped like that of a bird's. A huge avian head pulled through, screaming with laughter, its many eyed and beaked face with a look of malice, and then anoyther, with even more eyes dotted around its head and neck. The creature was coloured like that of a rainbow, and it was wearing huges robes that fell to the floor, covered in heretical script and symbols that writhed as you looked upon them. The two heads laughed all the harder as the other claw ripped through, holding a huge staff topped with the holy symbol of Tzeentch, the creature's patron God of Chaos. The monster unfurled huge, feathered wings, as coloured as the rest of the Daemon's body. Behind it, more creatures were clawing their way into the world, but these ones were different from the furred and diminuitive furies that had arrived first. These Daemons were ever changing, coloured with great hues of Pink. For these were the Pink Horrors of the Changer, and they had no true shape.
Tzorinth'ek looked up to the dark skies of this alien planet, and smiled, as much as a beak could smile. The mortals would feel the wrath of the Gods once again, and they would tremble in fear.

Sleek black ships dropped out of jump just outside the planets orbit. the ships kept an oval shaped formation. Two of the ships near the rear of the formation seemed to be thin and abnormally long.

The ships maintained their formation, sitting silently in the darkness of space. a transmission was sent narrow-band Mewsland from the Ragnarok class superdreadnought in the center front of the formation.

"This is Fleet Admiral Ainya aboard the Calypso representing the Red Talons Mercenary Republic, we have arrived, awaiting clearance to approach planet, please transmit the location where we may begin to deploy ground forces. Calypso out"

Asgard Artificial Satellite

The home of the Commonwealth's 8th Spacy Fleet, the 4-mile diameter planetoid Asgard was silent in the twilight. The country was at peace, and most of the fleet was at anchor, hidden inside the protection of the station. Two immense hangar doors opened, and the sleek, gleaming figure of a ship began to emerge. Shaped like an elongated and squat pitchfork, the FSS Flame of the AEsir put to space. Designated a corvette, it was similar in size to its destroyer cousins, but large enough to carry a compliment of fighters.

At the bridge, Lt. Commander Miranda Ramunova stood stoicly. As Captain, her eyes guided from the vast emptiness before her to the display and threat boards.

"Unknown fleet emerging," the Threat/Radar officer reported.

"Detect narrow-band transmission, tracking destination," the Comm. officer announced.

"Report contact to Fleet Command, bring us 1,000 kilometers alongside them, bearing 140-054; 1/4 speed," Captain Ramunova ordered.

Admiral Ainya stood firmy on the deck infront of the command chair on the bridge of the Calypso. She was looking over the holographic tactical display of the sector. There was a call from behind her. "Admiral, contact detected, closing distance. It looks to be a single contact, no weapons buildup detected, it looks top be on a shallow intercept course." There was a pause as the admiral thought.

"Hail unknown vessel, narrow band." She paused. "Unknown vessel, This is Fleet Admiral Ainya of the Red Talons Mercenary Republic vessel Calypso. Identify yourself and state your intentions."

"Transmission, Comrade-Captain," the Comm officer reported, putting it through the speakers.

"Open channel," Captain Ramonova replied. "This is Lt. Commander Ramonova, Captain of the Commonwealth Spacy ship, Flame of the AEsir. We were on a routine patrol when we detected your fleet's presence."

"Since our country is neutral, we will not hinder your movement," Ramonova responded. Her own appearance was that of a young woman in a white overcoat and uniform skirt, dressed in the standard attire (http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk167/yulia_91/gundam%20seed%20cosplay/natarle%20badgiruel/0624--n06.jpg) of Spacy officers. Her command cap displayed the traditional 'scrambled eggs' of gold leaf, and in the center, the traditional red star and emblazoned hammer and sickle.

"We do, however, ask that your forces respect our territories and keep a 100km distance from our spacedock," she requested.

The admiral nodded, smiling warmly. "Thankyou, and we will stay clear of your station." Her armor was form fitting, the scales and plated layered in a reptilian pattern over the body. Red markings on the otherwise black armor, with a symbol (http://fc08.deviantart.com/fs9/f/2006/035/b/e/symbol.jpg) on the breast and looked to be the shoulders too. "Godspeed captain."

With a nod to the comms officer, the channel was cut. "Locate that ships point of origin and make sure our course doesnt breach the 100km range, if it does, replot our course. All ships continue at one half impulse." There was a series of affirmatives from the other captains, meanwhile the navigation, tactical, and sensors officers worked on locating and confirming the identity of the Commonwealth's station.

"Well, that was interesting," Miranda thought aloud as the transmission cut. "Helm, keep our distance from their ships. Comm, send their position and heading to Fleet Command. Ops, keep tracking them until they pass Commonwealth space."

"Aye, Comrade-Captain," three voices responded.

"Captain," said her XO, Lieutenant James Avers. His seat was below hers, in the cramped CIC. "I still suggest we launch a CAP."

"No...I don't want to provoke something unnecessarily," Romanova replied, "But, let's have two fighters on Alert 15 for the time being."

"Aye Captain," Avers answered, relaying the order to the airwing.

The Mewsland station Purr sat within geosynchronous orbit and detected the ships of Red Talons coming. Their orders were to contact the ships and send them into Mewsland space.

"Hello, this is Captain Mew Meow III of the Mewsland space station Purr."

The transmission was intercepted, and the Commonwealth fleet maintained their tracking of the Red Talon fleet as it moved away from their territorial space.

The admiral responded to the station promptly. "This is fleet admiral Ainya of the Red Talons Mercenary Republic superdreadnought Calypso. can you provide us with tactical maps of the area before things get too hairy?"

The ships continued on in formation.

"We will send a tactical map.... showing the location of Mewsland."

A map appeared on the Purr's communication console, showing a unique chain of sixty-four islands resembling the shape of the number 4, and the (RL) United States (specifically the state of Hawaii), 1050 miles to the south. Then, the map was whisked away to the Red Talons ships.

The admiral nodded, The ships moved into geostationary orbit over the chain of islands in low orbit. "We will be deploying approximately 300,000 personnel, where would be a good place for our transports to land?"

Mew responded, as the ships got closer. "Island 63 is currently uninhabited as it is still undergoing rapid volcanic activity, however, it is currently inactive. It should remain so, as the island has hit the average size of the Mewsland chain."

(OOC: Bumpity bump bump BONK? Ouch.)

The admiral nodded and signaled to her com officer. "Have the transport unload on that island. the rest of the fleet is to remain in low orbit."

A single Mk1 superfreighter breaking away from the fleet and moving slowly through the atmosphere towords the 63rd island.

Back on the island chain, the Mews were preparing for the landing of the Red Talons ships. All non-essential personnel (scientists, some tourists, etc.) were quickly evacuated from New Mew and five ships were standing by to pick up the troops.

Meanwhile, back on island 8, at the heart of Mew Falls, everyone was in a frenzy with final preparations.

"Make sure the warp gate doesn't open when the ship touches down."
"Close up the shield once the ships are within."
"Let's have all ships standing-"

BOOM.

Everyone stopped at that instant. They heard the roar of the Red Talons ship's landing thrusters engaging. Then, the room exploded into chatter again.

"- standing by to pick up troops."
"Close the shield now."

President Mew Meow II) Let's quiet down, people. Okay, everything's in place?

Everyone) Yes, Mr. President.

Mew) Good. Let's go to work. Hail the lead Red Talons ship, tell them their first transport is within the shield.

It's another day at the office in the Ministry of Defense Building in Hatzia. Field Marshall Juan Henry Pulag came in his office and received a classified information from the KEP. He opens the envelope and read the information got from the KEP. The information states that Happy Acres declared war against Mewsland as they retaliate against the trade embargo imposed by Mewsland to Happy Acres. After Pulag read the entire information, he sent a letter to Premier Mateo Umaga regarding this matter.


The letter arrived at Red House in mid-afternoon. Premier Umaga opened the sealed letter and read it. The message is about the decision whether helping Happy Acres in the war against Mewsland or not. It didnt state anything about helping Mewsland against Happy Acres. In mid-late afternoon, the Premier replied to the letter and sent it back to Field Marshall Pulag.


In late afternoon, Pulag received the letter from the Premier. As he read the letter he said that "So, the Premier have decided". Pulag grab the phone and ordered an emergency meeting.


At the meeting Pulag said the information KEP got and about the war itself. He said in the meeting "I have sent a letter to the Premier regarding this matter. Premier have decided to help Happy Acres against Mewsland. According to the Premier, he decided to help Happy Acres because of Mewsland's using Trade Embargo to meddle in whatever is happening within Happy Acre's country. This is why Happy Acre was forced to declare war against Mewsland". The general staff of Red Armed Forces of Martilia agreed. Pulag stated that "I will send a letter to the Happy Acres government in support against Mewsland. We will dispatch two Small Carrier Taskforce with 5 Infantry Division and 3 Armored Divisions as a initial support for Happy Acres". The meeting ended and the entire Red Armed Forces start to mobilize their forces. The Premier also announce the mobilization of Red Police in-case of a riot broke out against the decision of Martilia in the situation.


A courier was sent to Happy Acres with a message inside of it.

IC: In high orbit over mewsland, the Red Talons fleet sat in geostationary orbit, sensors reaching out across space, waiting for any enemies to show up.

The admiral acknowledged the arrival of the transport. She sat on the bridge, sipping a cup of tea. The comms officer called over. "we're picking up various com traffic in the area. we're not able to intercept at this time, but it looks like its going to get pretty interesting pretty fast. The admiral nodded. "Tell Mewsland to inform us of any allies that will be entering their space. She paused a moment, "Any ships not marked as friendly are to be treated as hostiles." The tactical officer acknowledged her with a sharp "yes ma'am" The comms officer repeating the sentiment. "All ships, alert status red, maintain combat shifts untill further notice."

Meanwhile, the transport opened its cargo bay and began to unload its cargo, the hover tanks, apc's and assault trucks streaming out from the ship and moving into holding patterns above the ship. Two more freighters were on their way down through the atmosphere. Their gravitic induction drives allowing them to float silently down through the atmosphere.

The empty hallways of the Star Destroyer echoed as a single being rushed down them. He held in his hand, a small documnet covered in red writing. He knocked slowly on one of the heavily bolted steel doors.

"Enter" said a dry hollow voice. The small being pressed a large orange button by the doorframe. The door zipped sideways and was soon out of sight. As he walked in the small being coughed quielty.

"Do you have the form?" asked the strange voice.

The small one nodded and held it out.

"Good..." mumbled the large one, his hands resting heavily on the metal desk in front of him. He pressed down on a small green square next to his fingers and spoke loudly.

"Attention crew of the 089 War fleet. Prepare to mobilize." He took his hand off the square and smiled at the small one.

"The Red Talons will never see it coming"

A fleet of small ships at the edge of the system dropped out in a flare of white light their forms warped end elongated before returning to normal, thirty four Federation star ships, ranging from the USS Essex, an Essex class to galaxy class star ships and Albany class frigates their grey and white forms shimmered slightly in the light of the star system, their hulls glinting with its soft glow as they rumbled towards the massive fiasco. Vice admiral Daniel Tucker was on the USS Essex in command of this small task force, as His small fleet made their way through the system. He broadcasted a message that echoed through space to all ships.

Three Nebula class ships came up to flank they bore the red cross on their saucer sections, it was bright and large enough for every one to see they where medical ships. Mean while the rest of the task force formed up in a defensive maneuver. Galaxy cruisers flanked the Essex, nebula class tactical cruisers flanked their unarmed brothers.

Wings of Vampire assault fighters poured from the shuttle and fighter bays of all but the medical ship in a defensive posture, the federation was not looking to get involved in the general fighting but it was there nonetheless. The task force for such a small fleet seemed well defended their hull forms of various sizes imposing upon the darkness of space, watching as the battle ahead of them unfolded.

Daniel Tucker him self focused is blue eyes on the conflict, a smile forming on his face as he saw his forces coming up to protect the medical ships, indeed the fleet had several freighters in tow carrying other not so civilian supplies , how ever no one could scan them due to their dampening fields that had been placed on them.

An encrypted channel and message was sent to the forces supporting the embargo it was short, sweet and simple.

Tucker had a southern accent, he was young, his face was smooth and white his hair light brown, his form built and tough, he spoke like an old cowboy, he shifted gently in his command chair folding his hands over his uniformed lap, his eyes locking on to the various people doing work on the bridge, tens of people walking around and at their holo-console stations working and manipulating each of the three dimensional flickering screens, around them. The light of the bridge was semi dark, red lights blared as the ship was at red alert, weapons armed shields up. The Essex her self was a formidable Battle ship, the enterprise and another group of ships where also on the back several light years away incase things got hairy. He sighed once more watching the tactical screen flicker and change every single second with new updated information, AGIES was not active not yet, sensors how ever where at full power.


Tucker started to hum an old country song, from old earth some thing about the west and the plains and cattle in an old subdivision called Texas, his eyes glazed over with nostalgia as he thought and hummed this song, the rest of the crew where used to this already, so they did not pay much mind to it, the XO was by his side, he was working on another console readying the ship for possible combat in this theater.

The Red Talons vessel, having not actuually landed, was using a combination of its Minovsky system and its gravity induction to levitate a few meters above the sea, the bay doors unloading tanks and APC's and trucks that likewise, had no wheels and gracefully slid through the air on humming cushions of gravity.

The other two mk1 freighters moving into position nearby the first and began to unload in a similar manner.
