The Empire of Greater East Asia had always stayed out of the war. They didn't want into the war between the two powers.............yet.

Home to over 3 Billion Humans and Anthro Tigers, Greater East Asia was made up of Manchuria, Inner and Outer Mongolia, Parts of Siberia, Japan, The Ryukyu Islands and Taiwan. It was ruled by a emperor that was elected to the throne.

It was also Highly Imperialist and Anti-Fascist and Anti-Nazi: 20% of the Greater East Asians were Jewish. Also, the Imperial Government was Seeing The GWO and East Conagree control south of them a threat.

So what better then get rid of a threat then to help what was the force of Democracy: The Alliance Against The Grand World Order.

Near The Boarder with GWO's territory of Iodine Provence. Artillery was being set up and Trenches dug. It looked like Greater East Asia was going to war.

OOC: yes, I am FT, but I am also returning to MT with a kick!

Iodine Province

The East Asian mobilization was noticed in a heartbeat; GWO satellites and DRI personnel/analysts worked quite efficiently.

The World War had thrown every GWO installation across the world into Maximum Wartime Readiness; the Province was already mobilized, along with the rest of the country.

So what would the response be? Next to nothing, really. The Province simply pointed their own artillery cannons and missile systems in the direction of the East Asians, and more reconnaissance was being ordered in that direction. Three messages would be sent out; one to the Spire, one to Continential Command, and one to the East Asians.

To: East Asia
From: Iodine Provincial Control, the Fascist Federation of the Grand World Order

We have noticed a threatening mobilization in our direction. We wish to inquire as to why it is happening. As you may or may not have noticed, our nation is already at DEFCON 1, and your mobilization has resulted in the preparing of our own weapons to combat a possible invasion.

Port Arthur, Greater East Asia

The main Port of the Empire was now busy with Warships. Preparing for the coming fight against The IFA forces. The East Asian Imperial Military was getting ready for a fight and one that would stop the enemy.

To handle the enemy, The plan called for taking control of the air and seas around Eastern Asia, making It a East Asian Controlled Area.

In Japan, Taiwan and Mongolia. Air Bases were being put on alert, being readied for taking on The enemy military. It seemed that Greater East Asia would soon face off against The forces of Evil soon.

The East Asian Empire's lack of response gravely concerned the Iodine Provincial authorities. Preemptive strikes were almost authorized, but they wouldn't be until a formal casus belli presented itself.

We have noticed a hostile buildup of military forces. We are calling for an explanation within 12 hours of receiving this message, or else we will have no choice but to act before our people are threatened.

Secret IC: The East Asians were already planning something as they were preparing for full scale war. The Imperial Army had 400,000 troops at the boarder, The East Asians were going to send more till there were 1.5 Million troops. More Artillery was sent to the boarder, along with over 200 T-80 Main Battle Tanks.

IC: In the skies, AWACs were in the air near The boarder, cheeking for enemy aircraft heading for the area. The East Asians were prepareing for a fight still, but they were soon sending Messages to The enemy that this was a minor build up, notthing was happening.

OOC: You know satellites from GWO will dissprove that this is "minor" buildup right? Mine would if I had any over your area. But rest a sure some are moving now ;)
Also a little assuming on my part but I guess GWO won't mind.

IC:

Fighter4u has long since moitoring its allies radio and satellites freqs. to find out when a certain area volume of messages increases to the point Fighter4u should look. A simple message to the GWO military and Fighter4u learned of the supposed build up. Should GWO informed them that East Asian buildup was strong enough to be a threat. Fighter4u would dispatch a fleet to assit her ally.

We don't believe a deployment of the equivalent of four of our Legions is a "Small deployment," and would like to further inquire about the purpose of this deployment.

Iodine

Air patrols were heavily increased on the border. F-22 Raptors and F-23s (Advanced pilots fly F-23s, as they're superior, but harder to use) were flying every which-way, noting the AWACs. Anti-Radiation missiles were prepared to wipe the AWACs out if the East Asians attacked, which was now the common belief. Fortifications were already made; they had been made years before, but they were rarely staffed. Of course, since the GWO was the subject of a World War, these had already been filled in. DRI troopers were constantly photographing East Asian forces from behind the GWO border. Satellites constantly fed information to Provincial and Continental Command, and weapons satellites were poised to strike upon order. If the Empire struck, the GWO would butcher whatever was near the border with ease. Everything was effectively on a hair-trigger. Field Marshal Imorr Shan was overseeing defense of Iodine, along with Upper Admiral Harlequin Amoufhaz. A Strategic Command Zeppelin loomed over the City of Iodine, protected by the city's air defense system and its own complement of escort fighters, all of the F-23s flown by elite GWO pilots.

Artillery cannons were pointed towards the sky, aiming at their own targets. If their target moved, satellites instantly fed info on where they were.

Meanwhile, weather reports indicated a storm was coming...

We are gravely concerned with your buildup along the GWO border, as it threatens Liaodong and Shandong state, both nations of the Confederate Empire, and it also thre

atens Amur-Ussuri state, Hong Kong, Macau, and our sphere of influence in Southern China (Guangdong,Hainan Fujian, Hunan, Hubei, Guangxi, Yunnan, Jiangxi, Guizhou, and Zhejiang). You are warned to not display yourselves as a threat against the GWO, and withdraw your forces from the border with the GWO within seventy two hours.

Fuzhou, Fujian

East Congaree kept a great deal of ships and military forces in its sphere of influence in Southern China to enforce the East Congaree trade monopoly. This was notable in Fuzhou, which was in effect an East Congaree overseas territory. In an attempt to threaten the Steppe Empire, twelive F-14Ds would maintain regular flights outside Steppe Empire EEZ off of Taiwan, each armed with four AIM-9s. Steaming outside of the Taiwanese coast would be forty Arleigh Burke Class destroyers, eight Iowa Class Battleships, a hundred Whiskey class submarines, and two Ohio class submarines. Their missiles were ready to be fixed on radar installations, airbases, power facilities, naval bases, and docks. After the first barrage of missiles crippled the defenses on Taiwan, 200 MiG-21s, 100 F-14Ds, and 40 TU-95s would take off to cripple power facilities across Taiwan, and to attack oil stores. Shortly after that, 40 TU-16s would take off, each carrying a kitchen missile. Their targets would be obvious: Steppe Empire ships around Taiwan and the Southern Coast of China. They would be quick to fire them off, destroy the ships, and return to base. Following this, East Congaree would offer a ceasefire with the Steppe Empire.

Greater East Asia was not no third world nation and had a navy also. In fact, there were over 40 Jianghu class (Type 053H) Frigates, 30 Type 052 Luhu-class Destroyers, 40 Sovremenny class destroyers, 50 C 14 class missile boats, 20 Haiqing class submarine chasers, 50 Yulin class gunboats and 40 Romeo class submarines were in the area.

AA Defenses were in the area, More modern then what was in Mongolia Provence. Also, The Air bases had over 500 Tornado ADVs, 230 F-22A Raptors, 200 F-5 Freedom Fighter/Tiger IIs, 100 Buccaneers (http://www.inetres.com/gp/military/ar/fb/Buccaneer.html) and 120 Tu-160 Blackjacks ready for combat.

over 120,000 ground troops also were ready for a fight against any attacker. So when East Conagree Threated Taiwan, The Imperial Government sent a Message to The East Conagree Government, declaring that if East Conagree did not get their Military of of Greater East Asian Waters, a State of War was to be declared with in 13 hours.

Greater East Asia would be at war.

Now that East Congaree has left the Imperial Fascist Alliance, your coming war with the GWO is not to our immediate concern. Security flights outside your waters have been halted until further notice.

Our claim that we left the IFA was not entirely true, and any thought of leaving the IFA's cause has been abandoned. You are to cease your military buildup, and flights will return for East Congaree's security outside of Taiwanese waters.
