2009 FAWC-Volkswagen Gelf HS
Based on the 1998-2009 Volkswagen Golf, this family hatchback was launched in 2007 here. Available as a three- or five-door hatchback or five-door wagon, no details have yet been
released, but expect some soon. Expect a new economy version, and possibly a turbocharged sports model, plus a new turbodiesel variant too. This version is called Gelf to distinguish it from the Golf model on sale by Volkswagen. This is currently exclusive to Kilcanada and not sold in Astholm (sorry, Astholmians, you don't get this one!)

2009 FAWC-Volkswagen Passat 1.8 GCi Turbo
Fuel economy and performance are big issues right now, and FAWC-Volkswagen have addressed that by adding the all-new 1.8 GCi Turbo engine to their Passat range. Available only as a sedan, it will be offered on Sport and Highline versions. A wagon version of this is being considered, but FAWC-Volkswagen's Kilcanadian spokesman has said he doesn't know if there's a market for performance estates.
