A blonde, female reporter is seen sitting on the typical news desk, the video screen on the top left hand corner is showing footage of a waving caemra and soldiers pointed guns at what appear to be members of Parliment and the Royal Guard

"Good Morning Tomoak," She starts in the typical news ancher way, "We have recieved stunning news of a military coup against the Supreme Chanceller. Members of Parliment are being dragged out of the Capital Building by ICTR" (Inner City Tactial Response:SWAT) "forces and military personell." The video to the top left expands, now filling the entire screen. Its raining, and the sky is gray, people in expinsive looking cloaks are being dragged out of the capital building, police cruisers can be seen on the edges of the screen, while large armored car's are the cameras attract the camera mans attention

"...As you can see, police units are transporting the Parliment officials to prisions, the charges against them are not yet known..."
She pauses, putting a finger to her right ear, as if she was listening to a small radio in her ear
"Wait one moment...Ladies and gentlemen, ive just recieved stunning news. The chanceller was just shot, and is pronounced dead. The person responsible for the assassination are still unkown, but we have reason to belive it was a general meeting him about the occupational forces currently in South Defese. We will give you more information as this story---"
She is cut out, and large words are scrolling across the screen. A mans voice begins to speak.
"This is the emergancy alert system, All residents of Tomoak city are advised to stay in their homes. It is deemed unsafe to go outside. I repeat, this is the emergancy alert system...."

OOC: Is the coup going to be contested or is it just going to go smoothly? (in other words, what do you plan? If you want it contested, my nation will support the coupsters)

Generalissimo Grimmeberger watched the streaming news report from his office. If anyone had seen him, they would have seen that he was grinning.

"Serves the bastard right," he said simply. He hadn't particularly liked the Chancellor. Especially after Field Marshal Hohenzorn had sent back word that the man had ordered a nuclear strike on Federal troops. He had needed to be talked into not escalating the invasion in retaliation. But if anyone was still loyal to the Chancellor, he would see to it that the crazy fucker's supporters got their comeuppence. And the 44th Armoured would be happy to aid any of the coupsters necessary.

He personally wrote the next message. It would be damaging to the Federation's reputation if word got out that they had aided in the destabilization of another country's government.



To Whom it May Concern in the New Government of North Defese

I would like to personally thank you for your good work. The Chancellor was becoming intensely dangerous to everyone, including his own people. As you are well aware, we are currently, officially in a state of war with your country. This war has been, quite frankly, pointless, needlessly bloody, and we would like it to end. Therefore, we are willing to help your government solidify its position, if so desired, on the following conditions:

1) A mutually agreeable peace treaty be negotiated.

2) Your forces pull out of South Defese. In return, we will work to ensure they do not retaliate.

3)Our forces will also pull out of South Defese (with the exception of humanitarian units that are aiding in the rebuilding of the nation) with the understanding that should either North or South Defese invade the other, our forces shall return to check the aggressor.

Please respond as quickly as possible.

The Birkanian goverment will offer monetary support to the coup forces, in exchange for an end in the hostilities at Strator. Your Navy and Air Force are to retreat from the battle and disengage us and our allies. If so, the Birkanian goverment will gladly do trade agreements with North Defese.
