Ok, here's my idea for this

A young Marine (Say 19 or 20) serveing at the Battlehawk Embassy in a country meets a local girl (Also 19 or 20) and they end up having sex. Now the girls father is abusive to her and he catchs the pair in the act. He then goes crazy and accuseing the Marine of raping the girl, due to the fact he's racist, and he hits the girl and the Marine. The Marine reacts with his training and knocks the father out. The Marine and the girl then escape from the house to the embassy. The Father then accuses the BAttlehawk of kidnap and within 24 hours the embassy is surronded by an armed angry mob demanding the Girl and that the Marine face charges.

Anyone willing for this?

Hmm, interesting, but I'm in an RP right now, and I've hardly done any Modern Tech RPs with The Romulan Republic. I created them for a Star Trek RP, and I've never given much thought to how they would function as a modern tech society.

I might at some point have a diplomat make a comment on the situation, or put pressure on one government or another (if that's ok), but any involvement of mine will likely be low-level.

Well, theres members of the mob, so a DI (As it seems) citizin, a tourist, another BAttlehawk Marine, either at the embassy or on the back-up that is sent, news reporter for your nation anything you want, even the girl needs playing

I'll RP as a Romulan Republic diplomat visiting the embassy where this is taking place, and maybe some other government guys.

Well, this being of of the first role plays I have been involved with in this forum, I would like to role play Rodger Lorinzy Esq., Chief Ambassodor to the nation, by Will of the Grand Duchy of Iantatia. Of course, if you needed some one to role play a specific role, I would be more than willing.

And yes Takaram you can play the marine as I'll be RPing the ambasssador mainly, so basic background, The marine met girl whilst off-duty in a bar somewhere, they hit it off, yata yata, they went home...got intimate...got caught, and the rest is in the First post of this thread, understand?

Ready and rarin' to go, where exactly in this taking place, like the name of the nation? And is there any thing else we need to know? Should I assume my nation is friendly to this one?

I could be the host country, my people are not very fond of foreigners, and have a tendency to riot and cause mobs for little to no reason.

Is th role of angry nation taken? My nation is known for torch-wielding mobs to forcibly evict foreigners (says so on my NS page). And I've always wanted to RP an angry mob.
