The Belkan-Serbian-Birkainian War(Semi-Closed)

Belkaland National News Network

This is Halle Brunswick of BNNN, I’m speaking to you live from the Grand Hall of Stier Castle in the Royal City of Stier where Grand Duke Razgriz H. Demon and the leader of the Confederacy of Birkaine, High General Victor Yulianov, are holding a press conference after the brutal subjugation of the Serbian people and the murder of a fellow reporter, a Birkainian reporter named Vasyl Losenko, was broadcasted to the world showing images of the suffering caused by the oppressive Government currently in power in FSSU.

Lead by President Vojislav Ljubicic, the Federation of Serbian Soviet Union has been the source of much international tension since the nation came to the world stage. With the tightly controlled media in the FSSU, very little information had been released on the condition of the Serbian people. Now that information is now known due to the sacrifice of Vasyl Losenko, a Birkainian reporter who specialized in deep cover new reporting. His last broadcast showed the Serbian people living in huts & poverty, while the government lived in mansions & palaces. And at the end of his broadcast was a live segment showing Vasyl Losenko & 2 representatives of a underground resistance movement asking the fellow nations of the region to help free the Serbian people from the oppressive government. However, in the last seconds of the broadcast, what appeared to be Serbian BlackOps raiding the room and quickly beheading the men. So now… Wait… The Grand Duke & General Yulianov has entered the hall, let’s listen in…

My royal subjects, allied Birkainians & honored guest, today I stand before you along side Supreme General Victor Yulianov to inform you and the rest of the world of the decision we have made concerning the Federation of Serbian Soviet Union.

After consoling with our advisors & repeated attempts to reason with the FSSU, it has been decided that the government currently in power in the FSSU has failed its duty to the Serbian people and must be removed & replaced. As such, the militaries of the Principality of Belkaland and the Confederacy of Birkaine is to be mobilized and begin operations to free the Serbian people from President Vojislav Ljubicic ‘s oppressive government.

Any questions?

OOC: This is a semi-closed RP that has been planned by all sides in this conflict, so please don’t barge in. Though you can ask questions as a reporter.

A group of ships with Belkalandian markings began to form a battle formation just north of the Belkaland/Birkaine border. <<This is the BNV Donald von Banks to all allied ships, report in!>>

<<This is the carrier BNV Richard von Banks, we’re ready to go>>
<<This is the Underwater Battlecarrier BNV Friedrich von Hollmann, we’re currently at a depth of 100 meters. We’re ready to go.>>
<<This is the AEGIS Cruiser BNV Excaliber, our task force is ready to go.>>

Once all the ships finished reporting in, the Admiral in command of the von Banks began issuing orders. <<Alright, we’ll wait here for the Birkainian Navy. All AEGIS Cruisers are to form a picket barrier 20 miles away from the carrier group. That way we can intercept incoming cruise missiles before hand>> With those orders, the cruisers began to move to their assigned positions and the rest of the Belkalandian fleet began waiting for the Birkainian Navy.

<<...Behold, the Birkanian Navy...>>
An admiral said in a solemn tone, more to himself than to the sailors he was adressing over loudspeakers, as he sat on the captain's nest of the super dreadnought Omen, flagship of not only the 1st fleet, but of the Birkanian Navy as a whole.
A large formation gathered outside the waters of the capital, Prostok. Fleet oilers were fueling the conventionally-powered ships, and vast formations of Belkalandian and Birkanian infantry entered the docked assault ships. A large and patriotic celebration was taking place in the harbors, with the patriotic Birkanian population saying goodbye to their soldiers and sailors. Groups of Mig-37s soared trough the skies and landed on the carriers.
The 1st fleet was in the apex of glory, flags raised high.
<<This is BkNV Avenge Ferrograd. We're fully fueled and ready>>
The enormous battleship sounded the horn, and the Omen did so.
<<BkNV Forward Onto Victory here, we're ready>> Said the captain of an assault ship. The Birkanian dictator gave a speech to the populance, in the harbors, but the mood was gloomy. Birkaine was already in a war, and another one could be too much for the populance. The weather was clear.

Grdjar answers to calm the situation down and to reassure all it's citizens that the army is deployed here only to protect the citizens from any rebellion actions made by a small guerilla rebellion group which was formed as a National Defense Councile of SSU. We will not fire at our own citizens, however if any of our troops or anyone is threatened in anyway, we will have to use adequate force to neutralise a threat said Grdjar.

Belkalandian soldiers were ordered to take off the explosive C-4 belts before they entered the Birkanian assault vessels, and so an imposing ammount of explosives was left in the docks. The captains were already nervous enough, and having to carry not only fuel and ammunition but thousands of soldiers literally rigged with explosives was too much for them. The Birkanian conscripts also entered the ships, being hurried by the commissars.

The ships were almost full, and it was decided to load up 25 CH-46s onboard the assault ships. The vessels started to heat up their boilers.
<<This is the BkNV To All. All aircrafts are onboard, and our fuel tanks are full. We will begin to sail out of the harbor soon>>
The large Ulyanovsk-class vessel was the first one to move towards high seas

The Belkalandian Commander, Field Marshal Sebastian Hackenberg, walk into the command center on one of the Birkainian America-Class landing ship and began the briefing.
<<Alright, all the landing forces have finished loading and we're on pulling out to meet up with the Belkalandian Navy. Once we meet up, it'll take 3 days to reach the Serbian coast. In that time, I want a battleplan ready. Any suggestions?>>

"Welcome to the BkNV General Joseph Speer, commander..." The captain of the vessel said. Despite the assault ship being completely filled with Belkalandian soldiers, the ones in charge were still the Birkanians. The Joseph Speer started to move out of the bay. It took several hours and dozens of tugs for the armada to squeeze trough the narrow opening.
"Admiral Kedrova is currently tracing the final plans in the Omen... you might wanna speak to him..."
The Belkalandian was being left out of the strategical planning, it seemed.

Field Marshal Hackenberg was furious, <<WHAT?!?! Gah, get me a comms link to the Admiral Kedrova on the Omen, I need to find out if that's where the ground commanders are and why I was told that we'll be meeting on this ship!>>

Belkalandian Fleet

On board the Belkalandian Flagship, a Lt. handed a memo to Fleet Admiral Victor von Banks <<Sir, the Birkainians are currently enroute to our location.>> The Admiral responded <<Good, now go tell the aircrews to prepare to take over CAP flights from the Luftwaffe.>>

"You really thought the planning was going to be here?"

On the Omen, the admirals were walking from one side of the bridge to the other, around a large plan of Strangereal.
"Sir, we've got an incomming transmission" an operator said
"From who?" The Birkanian admiral asked while discussing with other commanders about the strategy.
"The Speer, sir" the operator replied. Evgeny Kedrova sighed.
"Tell them we're busy"

The general plan for the Birkanians was, so far, that a vanguard of submarines would scout ahead of the main force and scan the coastline of the FSSU to count how many and what type of ships did the Serbian Navy had, along with other useful targets it might encounter. The Birkanian Delta IV-class submarine K-65 led the way, and some hours later the Victor III-class K-115 and K-230 sailed after it and quickly caught up. They sailed from a port in easter Birkaine, submerged when in deep seas and started heading towards the FSSU, while the main force gathered. Once in FSSU waters, they would split out. The Victor III submarines would hunt down for any commerce ships they might encounter and act as a diversion, while the Delta IV K-65 would do its recon labor.

Five of Seawolf Class SSN have been deployed on the look out, scanning for any of Birkainians subs heading towards the FSSU waters, the subs will be prepared to fire on any Birkanian targets once detected on the sonar. The Torpedos have been prepared and soon will be launching them once the enemy subs have been detected on the sonar.

The two Victor-class submarines continued their silent dive, trying to keep as quiet as possible. five of the Seawolf Class SSN are slowly moving, diving down and reduced their speed to a very minimium and while keeping a tight formation, the formation of the five submarines decided to loosen alittle big, while keeping a high alert on the enemy subs, it is now about waiting untill the sobars detects an enemy sub heading into our waters.

25 submarines are deployed close to the coastline, the other five submarines will be heading towards the five subs that have been deployed while keeping a longer distant away from the five subs, the other five subs will be used as backup inorder to delay the invading forces from entering the coastline.

In the Belkalandian Fleet, the Admiral began barking orders <<Alright, the Birkainians have launched their fleet and sent several attack subs to soften up the enemy defenses. So lets get this fleet moving, go to 3/4 full steam, that way the Birkainian fleet can catch up with us. Now get this fleet moving!>>

With that, the fleet began it's long 3 day trip to the Serbian coast.

The five Seawolf Class SSN has detected the two victor enemy subs on the sobar, the enemy subs appeared to be atleast 500 miles away from where our subs are located in the FSSU waters, while the Seawolf Class subs are slowly moving towards the enemy subs, the enemy subs have started to appear on the sobar, there were panics amoung those that are preparing the torpedos to be fired at the enemy sub, one of the five subs have opened fire at one of the enemy subs which have been detected, according to the sobar, only one has been detected. While the first sub has fired the torpeedo, the 2nd and 3rd sub is preparing it's launch.

Birkaine
15-03-2009, 06:29
The Victor IIIs did evasive maneuvers and started to deploy sonar decoys as the torpedoes approached. The noise coming from the torpedo tubes blew the cover of the Serbian submarines, and the Delta IV Birkanian submarine fired two torpedoes at two different subs. To cover the launch of its own torpedoes, the Delta IV deployed several sonar decoys first.
Serbian_Soviet_Union
15-03-2009, 06:54
The submarine suffered fatally after the cover being blown off, the water has started to come in really fast, the submarine had to prepare for emergency to lift itself up before all the water has went inside the submarine, lots of water has already entered the submarine, it is being lifted and hopefully it has enough power to lift itself up and retreat for the submarine to get prepared after suffering a heavy blast explosion.

The four submarines decided to loosen up their formation, each firing a torpeedo each, the three subs fired at one of the enemy subs which the torpeedos are heading towards the enemy sub, going after the enemy sub. The 4th sub fired at the second submarine going to it's direction, the torpeedo heading towards the second enemy sub, going after the sub.

The submarines decided to dive in pretty deep down the water, to try and stay hidden for sometime to bare sometime before launching another attack, the submarines are using this to make sometime to stay hidden by trying not to get detected before preparing the torpeedos for the attack.

The Two Victor IIIs were hit. One ruptured in half and was sent to the bottom, and the other was badly hit, launched a torpedo at the direction of one of the attacking ships and started turning away from the battle. However, the Delta IV submarine, the only one to deploy decoys before fired upon, was unscatched. Rather than attempting a counter-attack, it started to turn away from the submarines at minimum speed, as silently as it could while the remaining decoys hid its sonar signature.

The surviving Victor III submarine retreated from Serbian waters, but the Delta IV SSBN approached the shore. It was approaching a deserted part of the coast, with no military value whatsoever, and wasn't opening its missile silos. It made sure to do everything as silently as it could.

"We've come this far..." One of the operators of the Delta said
"Shh! Quiet!" The captain said as they all gazed onto the sonar screens
"One of our subs was sunk, the other is no longer around.... we're on our own" The captain continued. They all had fear in their voices. "Tell the SpecOps to get ready, we're not going to sit around here forever, they're still out there!"

10 of Birkaine's elite special operations soldiers got into the torpedo tubes of the K-65, dressed up in diving suits and carrying only light weaponry. The torpedo tubes were filled with water, and then their doors opened. The divers swam out of the submarine.

"Ice 1 trough 3 teams are out. Ice 4 is on standby" The torpedo officer said. The last launch was of a small torpedo-shaped supply container, carrying the heavier weaponry and radios. It was steered by another diver.
"All teams are out" The officer whispered trough the sub's intercom
"Excellent, let's get out of here now!" The captain replied, with his voice still trembling. The propellers of the Delta IV submarine started to spin again, and it turned away from the coastline and started heading back. The captain wiped the sweat off his eyebrow as the submarine started diving onto deeper waters.

<<This is K-115>> The damaged Victor III submarine surfaced a few miles away and started transmitting to the allied fleet <<K-230 is not responding. Our sonar recordings indicate that it might have been sunk... no survivors...>> The Victor III deployed its small radar to look out for enemy aircraft, and the crew started both repairing the hull and treating the wounded. The seas were high, so repairing the outer hull was a nightmare for the sailors, and the submarine had a long, narrow crack in the middle. <<We get no transmissions from K-64 either, but they are currently on radio silence... by this point they should have arrived the launch site>>

While the Belkalandian general tried to bypass the layers of bureaucracy that separated him from speaking to the Birkanian admiral, the ships arrived to the rendevouz point at a steady pace, and met up with the Belkalandian fleet.

Admiral Gojko Susak ran into the main control room and picked up a telephone, quickly rings General Denan Sadik Mehovic, the general picks up his phone, this is Admiral Gojko Susak, our Commandos may have been infiltrated by one of the enemy subs, the third enemy sub has not been detected for a long time while it was detected at first on the sobar during our first battle which we successfully defended the first sub invasion which entered our waters, however it seems the third submarine had took off silently and headed more towards our coastline into the mainland deploying it's crews, suspected of them dressing up as divers lightly armed, maybe the third sub retreated or maybe the first sub invasion was a diversion for something big that might be happening or going on, be alert and make sure that your troops are deployed into that mainland coastle part of the area on high alert!! General Denan Sadik Mehovic started having sweat comming from his forehead in panic, on high alert General Denan Sadik Mehovic ordered a strong heavily armed equipt of a 1,000 soldiers that are 5km away from that area to be stationed there to patrol on high alert for any suspicious activities, 20 of Merkava Mk 3 Baz Main Battle Tank are arriving into the area with the 1,000 strong heavily armed and equipt to be on patrol on that area, General Denan Sadik Mehovic got off the phone and made the orders.

The divers gradually surfaced to look for places adequate for their landing, and they finally found a thick forest close to the shore. They swam towards the beach, and when they finally arrived they ditched their diver equipment and dragged the container into the forest, where they hid. They started to prepare themselves, checking their weapons, putting their night vision/infrared goggles on, unloading several radioes and anti-tank missiles from the containers and putting on their heavier armor. They gave each other elaborate orders without even saying a word.

Unlike the conscripted majority of the Birkanian Army, the Ice team were an extremely professional group of soldiers trained almost from childhood. They had the best weapons and equipment Birkaine could offer, and were only sent to these types of missions. Their assignement was to link up with the rebels on the serbian soviet union, and do several sabotage missions.

Equipment:
Ice 1 to 4:
IMI Tavor assault rifle with supressor and slug-mounted grenade launcher, HE stick grenades, combat knife, satchel charges, Five SeveN pistols.
Ice 5:
Encrypted radio set, Mistral MANPAD missile, H&K UMP submachinegun with supressor, combat knife, smoke and flash grenades, Five SeveN pistol.

Ice 8:
Milkor MGL grenade launcher, Five seveN pistol, combat knife

Medical kit, M107 anti materiel rifle, combat knife, H&K UMP submachinegun

The Delta IV increased its speed, and started moving away from the coast.
<<Hard rudder helmsman! Get us out of here, now!>> the captain said, almost in panic. It was a relief to be moving again. He took the microphone of the encrypted radio again
<<We're done>> Was the only thing he said. This was received by the Birkanian and Belkalandian fleets, who knew what this meant. A single spy satellite switched its orbit to monitor the general area where the Birkanian commandoes had landed.

Things weren't looking too bright onboard the damaged Victor III submarine. Water was starting to come into the engine room, and started flooding the boilers. The submarine had to come to a halt, and engaged its pumps at maximum capacity. However, they were now idle in the waters of the serbians, vulnerable to aircrafts and surface ships.

The Ice team hid in the forests for a night. They crossed the thick flora for one day in ghillie suits, then the sniper and his spotter (Ice 6) set themselves in a position overlooking the Serbian forces. The rest of the team continued to advance, only walking in the night. They were to meet up with guerrilla forces in the forests. A Birkanian satellite kept close tabs on their progress.

<<This is K-64, we are returning to port now.... thanks God....>> All the crewmembers of the Delta IV submarine sighed in relief when they arrived to the cover of allied ASW aircraft. The K-64 would not join the Birkanian and Belkalandian forces, and it would instead return to the eastern coast of Birkaine, to the port of Danovograd. The ship's crew would be condecorated with medals for bravery, and efficiency in combat.

The Victor III submarine was partially repaired, and the captain ordered the ship to get out of serbian waters at full speed, albeit surfaced.

The four submarines have been given orders by the Gojko Susak for full speed ahead, to catch up with the Victor 3 and destroy the enemy sub which is still inside the FSSU waters, trying to escape to safety, the other two subs which are already abit further out of the shores have detected on their sobar an enemy sub escaping, the two subs dived in deeply in the water, hoping to not get detected, to make sure that the Victor does not fire first, the two subs openly fired the torpedos at the Victor escaping enemy sub, the two torpedos fired are going after the Victor escaping sub.

The sonar operator shouted in panic. The submarines going at faster speed were detected due to their noise.
<<Get all decoys into the water and dive as fast as you can!>> The captain replied. The crew quickly rushed inside the submarine and it started to fill its ballast tanks. When in periscope depth, it started to deploy the last remaining torpedo decoys it had, and increased its speed.

After 3 days of travel, the joint Belkalandian/Birkainian Fleet arrived at the designated point roughly 300 miles off the Serbian coast. On the Dreadnought BkNV Omen, which had been designated the Flagship for the Combined Task Force(CTF), Fleet Admiral Victor von Banks was handed a message that the Birkainian Delta IV K-64 had successfully left the battle area. He then turned to his fellow commanders involved in the operation <<Alright gentlemen, time to start the operation. K-64 has left the area, though slightly behind schedule. But not enough to warrent changing the plans. The Luftwaffe has been informed of this and should be launching their birds now. We should prepare our birds as well, we need to attack our tragets as soon as the Luftwaffe attacks theirs. Timing is critical.>> With that, the command center on the Omen started handing out orders to the various carriers in the CTF.

Air traffic control has detected aircrafts from the Belkanian Airforce entering our airspace, they are supposedly about 300 miles from the Coastline, the air traffic control has contacted General Bogdan Boskovic of incomming aircrafts, the general panic and has ordered the first 10 of the F-22 Raptor to prepare for air lift off, to battle, to defend off from airstrikes comming from the Belkanian Airforce.

10 of the F-22 Raptor are preparing to take off, the battle is about to begin said one of the pilots entering the F-22 Raptor, the planes are preparing all of it's missiles, the planes are about to take off now, to prepare for incomming airstrikes. The 10 of the F-22 Raptor prepared for lift off and it is a matter of time before the air strikes begin.

The other 10 of the F-22 Raptors will also take off from lift off to fight off the enemy fighter jets, the 7th Coast Squandron is already prepared and will take off and will be used as back ups, the 20 of F-35 Lightning II.

One of the torpedoes was distracted by the decoys, but the other one went towards its target and exploded aganist the stern, blowing the hull open.
<<WE'VE BEEN HIT>> The captain screamed trough the radio without any form of encryption, although his cover had far been blown. The message got to the CTF.
<<QUICK! SEAL ALL HATCHES!>> The submarine started to flood. The propeller was useless now, and the rear trim ballast tanks started to take water in quickly. The sailors were forced to slam the hatches closed, leaving their comrades on the other side to drown. <<FASTER, WE'RE GETTING WATER IN!>>

The rear of the submarine was crushed by the pressure. The reactors ruptured and some of the radiactive material escaped the submarine. The sub rolled out of control and then its sail crashed aganist the seabed, destroying the bridge and killing many onboard, the captain included. Now the only undamaged part of the submarine was the front, in the torpedo room. Everything went silent for a while.

There was nothing but silence for minutes.

"We've survived, haven't we?"

A sailor said, trembling. They could hear the hull creaking on the outside.

The sniper commando that had been waiting in there for a whole day without moving saw some Serbian Merkava tanks over his scope, some kilometers away. He remained hiding, then started marking them with a target designator. With enough luck, the Belkalandians would take them out.

The survivors were trying to find their way out of the doomed ship, but one was still on his post. Among the few survivors was the sonar operator, who was surprisingly still operating on the backup power while the rest of the survivors tried to crawl their way out of the ship. He activated the acive sonar, and the readings detected multiple launches. Among the bodies and without panicking, the operator limped his way trough the partially flooded officer's room, with a pacific expression, all that while the torpedoes approached.
He arrived to the torpedo room, which was being flooded with water. The technicians had been killed by the concussion from the hits, and he was the only one in the dark room. He decided to finish what the technicians had started, and with a lot of luck managed to flood the tube where the torpedo had been loaded in, ready to b fired.
<<...well... I reckon this is it... Goodbye, Tatiana>> He said, then lamented not been able to come back home.
The tube was flooded with water, and a single torpedo came out of the submarine.

The beeping noise of the active sonar continued on and on as the enemy torpedoes approached, until they finally hit the ship. The torpedoes destroyed the submarine completely, and the remaining missiles and fuel onboard exploded. The lone torpedo fired by the Victor started to track a Serbian submarine.

<<Sir, we lost the K-115>> One of the operators onboard the Omen said.

The last shot fired at one of the Serbian Submarine was hit, the damage was still unknown at this time, however all the power was out, the backup power came into action, there was a big whole located at the back of the subway, the water is comming in, flooding the submarine, they went to isolate the area by sealing all doors, the sub had no choice but to immediatelythe sub was however not been able to go full speed ahead, however, there were enough speed for the sub to reach the water, without going over the speed which could effect the life time of the backup power with the current speed the sub is going, it will take upto two hours to reach the shores for repairment, the damage was substantial enough that had knocked the entire power of the sub, the backup power could run for only 2 hours at the speed the sub was going at, which was closely enough to give the sub the chance to return back to shore in time for repairment.

The sonar operators of several Oscar II-class submarines in the approaching fleet detected the hit with their sonars.

<<Wait, there's still activity down there! Seems the K-115's torpedo hit an enemy sub!>> The operator said
<<Do we have a heading and position?>> The captain asked. The damage sustained by the enemy submarine made it noisy, and easy to detect.
<<We do, it's heading right towards the shore>>
The captain of the Oscar submarine informed the admiral onboard the Omen super dreadnought
<<Prepare the anti-submarine helicopters>> he answered in a severe tone <<Their deaths will notbe in vain! We are going to sink that submarine, I don't care if we have to sacrifice half our fleet!>>
The Ka-56 helicopters onboard the carrier Ferrograd started taking off, and headed towardsthe shore, hunting for the submarine while the allied submarines guided them.

<<Stay on them, crew!>> The Oscar II and eight Victor III submarines started to pursue the Serbian submarine. <<The sacrifice of our comrades will be repaid in blood! URA!>> The captain said in an uncharacteristically fanatic tone, something unusual in the submarine fleet; the whole crew shouted the battle cry. A Winston-class cruiser joined the charge.

<<Alright, I'll explain the plan now in detail. In conjunction with the Luftwaffe's airstrikes on the Industrial Complexe east of the Serbian capital by the 12th Bomber Wing, codename Alpha Flight and on the Trident Naval Base in southern FSSU by 10th Bomber Wing, codename Beta Flight, we shall launch our aerial forces at the 5 Serbian airbases along the coast. We'll use a Delta-Bravo-Zulu style Strike package consisting of 10 X-02 Wyverns & 10 F-14D Tomcats fitted for Air Superiority, 10 F/A-18E Super Hornets fitted for Ground attack, and 5 F/A-18G Growlers & 1 E-2D Advanced Hawkeye for Electronic Support. The remaining aircraft will work together with the Birkainian Naval Air Force to provide air superiority over the CTF. Now with this latest information from the Birkainian submarine force, they've got the Serbian submarine force tied up. That'll make it easier for the von Hollmann to get into position and launch its fighters to provide air support for the ICE Team that was inserted yesterday. It'll also allow the von Hollmann to get within range of the Trident Naval Base to fire its payload of 210 Tomahawk & Harpoon Cruise Missile to ensure the destruction of the Serbian Reserve Fleet and hopefully the Serbian Aircraft Carriers as well. Once airstrikes on the Serbian Bases are complete, the Birkainian will start the Landing Operations(LO). General Sebastian Leonov of the Birkainian Army will be in command of the LO, as he has experence in such things. While our landings are going on, the 164th Airborne will be dropping in two locations in eastern & northern FSSU. The northern LZ is near the border where it is believed that there is a rebel base nearby. They'll be assisting the rebels in conducting hit & run attacks in the nearby Industrial City. To ensure that the Serbians don't see the drop, the northern drop will be conducted using the stealthy Hy-9 Transport. The Eastern LZ is far more dangerous, they are going to capture an airport capable of handling our heavy transports planes. Once we have that airport captured, we'll be able to use our short range Attack Helicopters to devistate Serbian armor forces.>> The Admiral then stopped to look around at his fellow Admirals as they looked at the map. <<I know this plan has some flaws, but with what we currently have available, this is the best we can do. Now let's start Operation Perestroika>>

~BNV Donald von Banks~

On the flight deak of the Carrier von Banks, a pilot in his X-02 Wyvern was checking his harness when he got a message on radio <<Lt. Allen, you ready for this?>> The pilot, now known as Allen responded <<Yes Cpt. Davenport, I'm ready. Just as I was when you asked 5 MINUTES AGO!!!!>> The captain on the radio started laughing. Allen thought 'I knew I should have just stayed in the Luftwaffe!'

With that, Allen manuvered his Wyvern on to the EMCat and grabbed the handles to brace himself for launch. With that, the catapult rapidly pulled the X-02 to 250 mph and off the carrier. Once in the air, Allen pulled his X-02 into formation with his squadron and called out <<This is Goda 10, I'm now in formation.>> Then came a responce, <<Roger that Goda 10. Goda Squadron, you know your mission. Now go and fullfil your duties as brave pilots of the Belkalandian Kaiserlich Marine!>> With that, Goda Squadron raced off towards the airbase directly ahead of the CTF.

---------

~BNV Friedrich von Hollmann~

In the Command Room of the Bahuvirhis II-class BNV Friedrich von Hollmann, Captain Friedrich von Hollmann III, grandson of the ships namesake, walked over to the ship's two helmsmen, <<Alright lads, we've got our orders. We are to move to coordinates 35°18'14"N 77°9'8"W and launch our JSFs & Navahos. After that, We move southwest to get closer to Trident Naval Base.>> With that, the helmsmen started moving the Underwater Carrier towards its designated position.

Off the Serbian Coast

As one of the airstrikes from the CTF approached the airfield designated Charlie, Goda 10 began to get radar hits. <<This is Goda 10, I've got bandits. Radar returns matches that of JAS-39 Gripens, numbering 20. Orders lead?>> The Flight lead responded <<Down them all, let's use the wall.>> With that, all the X-02 Wyverns got in a line and fired AMRAAMS out of the Wyvern's Internal bays, forming a virually wall of missiles, all heading towards the incoming Gripens.

In a stealthy B-2 Spirit part of the 12th Bomber Wing, a young woman was preparing for the airstrike that she and the rest of her squadron was about to do when her radio crackled <<Major, are you ready?>> The woman then responded <<Yes sir.>> <<Good, then let's begin.>> With that, the woman ordered her copilot to open the bomb bay doors. They were over the Serbian Industrial Complexe.

Command wants those ships on the seafloor.>> On the ground, factions left over from the Belkalandian War that had been fighting ever since their Capital was nuked heard a massive boom come from the skies.

With 24 AMRAAM headed their way, the Tomcats banked extremely tight and popped off several things of chafe to dislodge the radar lock. The chafe & hard manuvering managed to dislodge 19 of the missiles, but 5 of them remained stuck on their respective targets. 4 of them hit their targets dead on, 2 blew up in a fireball and the other 2 had their pilots ejected. The last one however was a dud and tore off the right wing of the Cat. Using the powerful engines of the F-14D and its lifting body design, the pilot of the stricken Cat managed to turn around and went back to the CFT on full afterburner.

While this was going on, the second part of the Wizard manuver happened. The 10 X-02s go on the 6 o'clock of the Gripen Formation and fired 2 AIM-9Xs at the Gripen. Then the remaining 5 Tomcats let off the remaining AIM-54s at the Gripens, totaling 45 missiles heading at the them. 25 radar guided from the front and 20 heatseekers from the rear.

<<This is Goda 5, looks like the Serbians are running. Strike package, let's go visit them on their turf.>> The F/A-18Es that had been flying at low altitudes then flew up into the formationof the remaining X-02s & F-14Ds. The Hornet leader then responded <<This is
Sabre 1, roger that. Let's see how they handle a strike package. As from what I've seen, they can't handle the dogfight.>>

With that, the entire force engaged their afterburners and headed right after the retreating Gripens.
