BAF Woodvale

The sun rose above the hills that surronded BAF Woodvale. The Collection of Fighters that was sat on the asphalt glinted in the sunlight. The Base was already buzzing with activity. THe Top Brass from all over the Battlehawk Air Force was here, waiting for the first flight of the Operational Flight of the New Fighter the Battlehawk had designed. The Jet had of course flown before, but this was the first time they would be flying operationally and armed.

The First Squadron had been deleivered here, to the edge of the Battlehawk, across the Battlehawk more jets were deleived as the Priamry Air Supierority fighter. The F-28 'Talons' were still expected to remain in service for some years to come, and F-32's would become the Top assignments.

With the Sun up, the F-32's roared into life, the checks had been done, the weapons armed and it was time. Taxing onto the runway the 8 plane squadron was ready to go. The message came through from the tower and the jets were soon in the air

F-32 Squadron "Vipers"

Once in the air the Squadron formed up in formation. They flew over the Station much to the delight of the watching press, before heading for the border for patrol.

OOC: OK, BAF Woodvale is on the border with someone, so you can pick it up on RADAR

OOC: Looks basically like F-22, but slighty bigger and different, I can give specs from the NSdraftroom if you wish?

OOC: Nah, it's okay. It was just I used to sell a plane code named Storm

"There is an unidentified flying plane in our airspace sir."
"What?!"
"Yes, there is, sir look here."
There was a type of signal they have not heard before.
"Hmm, find out who the fuck this is, and make sure they know not to infringe on our airspace."
"Yes sir."
He turned on the communicator.
"Who is this and what are your intentions? What plane are you flying?"

"We've been squacked!" Viper two commented over the comms
"Damn GPS, tell the ground crews we found the first bug" Viper Lead laughed after listening to it "This is Viper Lead, of the Battlehawk AirForce, our appoligies, we've got a slight bug in our GPS"

OOC: BTW, it's gonna be a weak signle, the F-32 is a stealth Air Supremacy fighter, but it's got some wing-bourne armamant so it picks up, and what are you planning to do, fly up there and engage?

OOC: Nope, I just want to figure out who the hell you are, before I send a crew up there.

"I repeat, unidentified aircraft, identify yourself then return to your airspace."
He turned off the microphone for a minute, "Get an air crew ready, do not send anything in there as of yet, make sure we identify as a hostile."

"We just did" Viper Three commented
"Alright I'll try again" Viper LEad said
"THis s Viper Lead, Of the Battlehawk Airforce, our appoligies, we've got a bug in our GPS, we'll head home once we get a GPS fix" Viper Lead said into the Mic

OOC: There are Eight aircraft in the Squadron,

OOC: Sorry didn't see that. Okay good to know.

He broadcasted the following back to the squadron,
"Okay, go ahead, you are free to fly over our airspace, just don't shoot at anything, if you want that gps fix, you can land here."

"Weapons on safe, searching Satellite" Viper Lead repsponded "Our Apologies, but at this momemnt Federal Law prohibits us landing on foreign soil as much of the F-32 is still classified until next week"
The Squadron worked together to get a satelite fix

"Okay, feel free to come in our airspace with an ambassador team." He yelled back into the microphone.

Again he turned the microphone off and said,

"Search for satellites aimed at us."
"Yes sir."

"Viper Two, any GPS lock yet?" Viper Lead asked
"Nearly, two more" Viper two responded as the Squadron flew in circles

OOC: What are you going to do, trying to lock in on our building? Still treating you as friendly because I am not sure of your intentions.

"Okay, we have one satellite aimed at us, and they are licensed to "Soundgarden Satellite Radio."

"Okay, they are friendlies, as so we know.

OOC: No, we're getting a lock on our position so we can head home"

"One left" Viper two reported. The Sun glinted of the aircraft as they wheeled around again

"Good luck you guys up there. Please give us information on when this will be public!" He said over the comm.

"En Voure, onb gehce" Viper Lead said in Battlehawkian as they got the last fix and began to head home

OOC: Roughly translated, Goodbye, thankyou, but of course you don't know that

ooc: omgosh this RP is so epic.. I'm enthralled. :confused: Such detail and character development, it's drawing me in. I'm really attached to the story and care about what happens next!!1! :rolleyes:
