OOC: I was thinking of opening a World Map, as nations around the world, could claim areas of the map, this would make war RP'ing easier, because you would be able to see where other nations are. The map would be a first come first serve basis. Please give me feedback, to see If you are interested. Thanks.

This type of claiming usually ends up in disaster. I know from experience, as in the current Stoklo-GWO War Saudi Arabia should be owned by an ally, while in our war it's occupied by a fascist.

Well, what you could do is expand the world. You could have two USA's and two Germany's etc. That way everyone gets what they want! (And that way my region can take up half the artic and there'd still be room for Rolling Dead!) (my region kind of HAS to be in the arctic after all :D) (read Razgriz Straits info on its page)

You have a place wherever you want to have a place. For example, my nation takes up half a continent (my region) which is located in the southern and central Pacific and is probably twice the size of Eurasia, to accommodate the 15+ billion population.

I just want a medium sized country, about the size of Coite D'Ivoire (country in Africa) along the coast of the sea of Okhotsk (next to Russia) with a fair number of islands.

For the population, we would have to put it aside when evaluating the size of your nation, you would still be able to RP you have 15+ billion, its just, space will be limited.

It may have to include some of those smaller nations like Estonia and Latvia, because I want Kraveska to border the water. Also, can it border the Barentis sea?

yep, technically you can be anywhere you want as long as it accommodates your population. for example, new players should not just say they own all of Russia, with only 20 mill population. then again you can't have a 1 bill population and just be in a 50 square mile country. and i know there are alot of instances where people claim the same territory, but it is a necessary evil, things like this are bound to happen and it is unavoidable. in an instance where you have to RP a war with other nations that occupy the same territory, i suggest you split the land for the sake of fun. sure, its not fair, but sometimes thats the cost of fun.
my country is in Svalbard (which is not on your map for some reason) which soon will not be able to hold my population, so we will attempt to expand to Franz Josef Land (also not on your map for who knows what reason), maybe even Iceland and eastern Greenland. im porpously choosing places that would normaly never be chosen for settlement. but hey, its a place in the world.

If you have around a billion people, we would accomedate said nation with land about the size of China, a bit smaller.
