A Message to the World

The proud Nation of Eternus Australis is ready to stand up in the International Community. We are ready to open our Diplomatic ties with Local and International Regions for trade and mutual National interests. We will be approaching Military Storefronts for assistance with updates and changes to our small but effective Armed Forces. We will be extending a hand in friendship to our neighbors once more as we take our first steps into the larger world.

A public address to the world:

The "competition" to name our new Diplomatic city has ended and after a name was 'literally' drawn out of a hat (thank you Jenkins). A referendum was held to discover the peoples voice on this choice of name for our New Diplomatic City. The Decision has been made and I believe it fits well with the design and planning that has been happening for this new city. Our New Diplomatic City shall be called "Citadel" and rather appropriately so, since it will be a place that will be highly protected for those that reside there.
My Foreign Ministers have instructed me that the following applications need to be sent out to the world, and from this, we will be able to start fruitful and beneficial trade agreements with those that share our National aims and ambitions.

Listen, I know your a new member here in the forums if not NationStates, but people don't like to have their posts
copied without their permission. It's rude and pretty stupid.

I admit I used 'parts' of your 'note' without permission and offer an apology for that. However, I will not give a apology for a standard application form that I have seen on forums many times before. Especially since I used this almost "EXACT" form (apart from your note) on my nation of New Logan in 2003/04 on this exact game. Unless of course you want a monopoly on the use of asking for security and support staff numbers (which you DON'T ask for), or the type of embassy package your nation wants (which you DON'T ask for), or for the type of diplomatic vehicles to be used (which you DON'T ask for) or a monopoly on the use of the = sign.

Please forgive us, due to a slight mix up in the paperwork while filling out the application, we believed that the number of Staff allowed was 20. The Principality believes in providing the best for our Embassy, and so we use the maxinium number allowed in all catigories. So now that we know what is the maxinium, the number of staff for the embassy will be 10.

We have also reviewed the Planner's Map for the Citadel. While we believe it is a good design, we must question the wisdom of using an electrified fence with bushes grown around it. Would not the bushes short-circuit the fence due to the grounding effect of the bushes? As such, we have a new request that the chain-link fence be removed.

Once again, please forgive us for mistake with the Staff.

RE: Compound fencing

The error with staffing numbers is easily forgiven, but we would also like to ask for forgiveness for not mentioning on our own plans or to yourselves that there is to be a 2.5 metre exclusion zone between this hedge and the fence within the compound. This is to allow for a perimeter guard if so desired by Ambassador von Gladisant and also for space to maintain this hedge. The idea behind this hedge is to offer something other than an electric fence to be seen from out the windows of the ground floor buildings.

We hope that this clears up any mis-understanding regarding the fence and the hedge and hope that for your safety and with this explanation you will understand why we can not remove the fence from the security design of the premises.
