Roycetan Merchant / Executive Security ES1

[ Overview ]
With the ever increasing threat to visiting dignitaries, Ministers of State, Company CEO, and other important persons from high calibre snipers rounds, automatic weapons fire, Rocket Propelled Grenades, Improvised explosive devices and a variable plinth of other things, Roycetan Merchant started a new Sub Company, Executive Security who’s purpose was the build personnel executive vehicles with integrated security solutions for 21st century problems. To that End, the company designed the Roycetan Merchant ES1 Grand Tourer (GT) as state of the art armoured vehicle. The ES1 is stepped in history with RM already well experienced in creating sports cars and Coupes they brought that experience to bear when designing the ES1. The ES1 Differs from many of its competitors in that many Armoured Security Vehicles are stripped down versions of already in production then refitted as required; the ES1 however has been purpose built for the job from the ground up. This helps providing what RM say ‘is unparalleled protection in today’s dangerous world without compromising maximum comfort’
[ Comfort ]
The Interior is a combination of leather, suede and Velvet; in both the front divers and passengers seats and rear executive seats, the carpets are made from the finest wool and the dashboard and all wood fittings are made from 100% Varnished Oak, all seats are heated and have inbuilt ‘massage‘ option , the car has full climate control and Air Conditioning, Tinted Electric Windows. Two touch 15inch Displays are embedded into the rear of the front head rests and are capable of standard computer operations, networked video conferencing and playing DVD or Blue ray Discs, also includes a Processing Station for Game Station 3 as an optional extra. The seats are actually made from ‘Liquifoam’ which moulds itself around to the passengers rear and posture for maximum comfort and also have a layer of Kevlar under the coverings. The front Doors open upwards at a 90 Degree Angle using Scissor Hinges
[ Protection ]
Protection wise; the ES1 is very comprehensive, while much of the bodywork is made of Re-enforced Fibreglass Plastic. Carbon fibre and Steel like you would find on most cars its what you don’t see that makes the difference, inside the outer body work are layers of Titanium Plates sandwiched around a sinusoidal shaped steel honeycomb injected with silicone boride along with reinforced titanium rods with a carbon nanotube plate and finally a cocoon of Kevlar. The Glass in the front, fear Windscreen and tinted windows is made from two sheets of specially treated bullet proof glass with a middle layer of heavy duty epoxy and vacuum sealed. This protects against heavy calibre weapons up to 16.7x244mm, Rocket Propelled Grenades and Light Anti-Armour Rockets such as the LAW and 80mm Mortar fire, the shape of the body work is also important, with the RFP designed at angles that better deflect RPG and Tandem HEAT Round, the underside of the chassis also has a slightly convex shape that pushes out the blast from Light Anti-armour mines, or Improvised Explosive devices so that the force of the explosion does not push the vehicle up into the air, a technique used on some of the latest military vehicles. The back Seats themselves are also backed with heavy Ceramic armour plating like the kind you would find on a battle tank. However the ES1 does not stop there, the windows are also coated with a special transparent resin that reflects laser beams to prevent Laser Microphones and also has a built in faraday cage woven from copper mesh that prevents RF or Microwave Signals used by Eavesdropping devices, with special jacks for the passenger to communicate with the outside world. This protection though extremely comprehensive will not protect against - Direct Artillery fire, Dedicated Anti-Armour Missiles (such as Javelin, Hellfire) or Direct hits from tank fired SABOT or HEAT rounds.
[ Engine / Drive ]
The Actual Engine is a 6.8L 16 Cylinder V16, with not one but two Superchargers with an Automatic Six Speed Transmission or Five Speed Manuel Transmission capable of delivering up to Seven Hundred Break Horsepower (700Bhp) and an Electronically limited One Thousand One Hundred Torques (1,100 Nm) built from Aluminium and Titanium. The V16 chosen for its smoother ride over a smaller V8 to prevent what designers called ‘acceleration lurch‘ though it is certainly not the most economical or environmentally friendly of cars though fuel options include Petrol or Bio fuel. The car has adaptive wishbone suspension used in Roycetan Merchants Sports Cars and ‘computer controlled drive; that can switch between front, rear and four wheel drive as required faster than a human can actually think depending on if the car needs agility around corners, power though straits or terrain handling with full traction control; with all the computer aides on the car is electronically limited to 70MPH with ABS and Power Steering are included as standard. The Actual Breaks are Ceramic 12 piston Calliper, with front discs a diameter of 360mm and Rear Discs a size of 370mm, there is also an automatic air break to help slow the vehicle down even further. There is also a CST Mode available This; some say stands for ‘Commit Suicide Time’ as this turns off all the computer driving aids, activates permanent four wheel drive, firms up the suspension and removes the speed limiter allowing the car to reach a maximum speed of 208 MPH. The ES1 can reach 0-60MPH in 3.6 Seconds, and 60-100MPH in 1.8 Seconds. The Driver has access to a Multi Function Display In the dash behind the steering wheel, that shows all critical information such as Oil Pressure, Engine Heat, Rev Counter , Speedometer (in MPH & KPH) G Meter and can flag up any problems detected by any of the myriad of onboard sensors. There is also an indicator for Break Temperature and , Tire Temperature as using the car in CST mode on maximum performance can cause overheating resulting in break failure or tire blow outs.

Also included is a voice controlled Sat Navigation System with integrated GPS and 3D Mapping capable of providing notices of Traffic Jams, Road Closures, Police Warnings and Speed Cameras, also included is a Weather Module that can keep you updated on the forecast of both the local area and your designated destination, Colours Available include Black, White and Burgundy.

Export of the ES1 is approved to all nations with friendly or neutral status or on a per sale basis, each unit costs D$230,000, or $430,000 Universal Nation states Dollars. Domestic Production rights are not currently available however a Factory contract with Roycetan Merchant may be negotiable upon request
