Your bid must state if you are an automotive manufacturer or not, where you are based (i.e. your nation), who is in charge, and why you are looking to buy Cevan Motors.

Dear Sir,
As one of the larger automobile concerns in the world, I believe we do not need to be introduced in full, especially considering our company has had previous dealings with your ministry. VLT Automotive Group N.V. is a part-public company based in the Grand Duchy of Van Luxemburg, and markets the VLT, Monteluci and Lepanto brands as its main international competition on the worldwide automobile market. Next to this, it owns several (smaller) brands, which are organised under each of these three main brands.
As said before, VLT Automotive Group is a part-public company, owned by the Van Luxemburger government for 25%, with another 51% owned privately by its founder, the Grand Duke of Van Luxemburg, and 24% being traded on the domestic stock market via a separate holding company (which represents the vote of these stock holders, who themselves have no actual vote). Currently, the company is headed by Kirstin Becker as the head of the Board of Directors.
VLT is interested in buying Cevan Motors in order to increase its influence in the Astholm region, and hopes to establish a solid dealership network and increase ties with the region through the existing contacts between Cevan and the local industry. Cevan Motors itself will continue export and production, and will be placed under the VLT main brand. This means it will also be eligible to receive previous-generation technology from VLT itself, and Cevan Motors will eventually be marketed as a ‘budget alternative’ to the more expensive automobiles that VLT produces, up till the D-segment. The brand will maintain its own design language, and current designers will be maintained to continue the design of ‘real’ Cevan cars. The brand will receive the previous-generation platforms of the VLT L2, L3 and L5, as well as a newly developed supermini (A-segment) platform. These vehicles will be marketed under existing Cevan model names, and be sold in the $6,000-$30,000 price range, or at even lower prices, depending on the current circumstances in the company’s production facilities.
Unfortunately, we are unable to make a correct estimate of the sales price of Cevan Motors. We would be interested in receiving information on the company’s financial situation, including possible profit/loss amounts, as well as the total vehicle sales numbers. We would like to review these figures before placing our bid.
Signed,
Hans Schmidt,
Director of Sales

The Blackwell Motors Group has decided to make an offer on Cevan Motors. Blackwell Motors Group does manufacture vehicles under license with Morgan LtD. of England and under our private label of Auburn. However both of these car lines are limited production, high end custom vehicle lines. We also hold a significant stake (30%) of Alcona Motors.
Our core business is vehicle engines which extend from gasoline motors and diesel engines for cars, trucks, to complete diesel-electric systems for locomotives, and ships. We have of course noted that Caven motors currently uses Volkswagon engines, which although great technically have been found to be highly maintenance intensive. As such we will likely revitalize the line adding a sports coupe brand and making a more attractive low cost hatchback model. Further, we will likely revamp most of the features of the vehicles to make them more universal to the world export brands.
Considering only a fifty percent stake and government intervention, the Blackwell Group can only offer 1.2 Billion Krondor for a 50% in the firm.

Thank you for your interest. I believe you have attempted working with Celsan Motors, another of our manufacturers, fairly recently, is this correct?
Cevan Motors is in excellent financial health; the profits are pretty good, with no losses so far.
Cevan Motors markets a range of rebadged Volkswagen, Audi and Kulsah-Volkswagen products. Note that Kulsah-Volkswagen are not the same as Volkswagen and the prefix indicates that they are made by Kulsah, in the Kulsah region from which Kulsah Motors take their name.
This firm has been put up for sale due to our nation's new automobile industry competition laws; similar laws apply to our nation's radio station industry too, except those are older statutes.
Our government still retains the final right to make any decisions concerning this maker as it is a 50/50 power-sharing agreement as well as a sale; but it will always negotiate with the new owner concerning vehicle designs. The negotiations on any vehicle design always have to go through Astholm's Automotive Ministry and the Astholm Automotive & Motor Trade Association
You may not have dealt with this department of our government before, but we appreciate your interest, and your offer has been accepted as one of the potential new buyers on the list.
Also, will you be marketing Cevan vehicles in your nation, or using their expertise to assist your manufacturer?
Thanks,
Chris Smith

Emperor Charlemagne offers $5bn for this company, to be paid in gold. As an Emperor, Charlemagne has a great deal of practical experience with cars, owning two himself. He is not an organisation, and is interested in acquiring one. He intends to buy this company in order to become richer than he presently is.

We trade in the pound (£) currency; but the $ dollar is used in some nations, and the Rand (R) in other Astholm nations.
Here, though, it is specifically the pound for Astholm.

Dear Sir,
Thank you for your response. As far as we know, it is very well possible that VLT has been in talks with Cevan before. It is good to hear the company is in a good financial situation, and therefore, our bid can be found below.
To answer your question: Cevan Motors will indeed be marketed in the Grand Duchy, as the 'budget brand' of the VLT group. Our sales expectations for this brand in Van Luxemburg, however, are not very high. Generally, the average Van Luxemburger citizen prefers high quality vehicles and is prepared to spend extra money on high quality, and most likely, on a domestic product. Keep in mind however, that being part of the VLT Group is a definitive plus for sales in the Grand Duchy: It will be a part-Van Luxemburger company, after all.
The expertise present at Cevan Motors will be utilised for their models only, since we have excellent in-house technicians. The main area of interest for VLT is the knowledge about the regional market.
Seeing the information we gathered about Cevan Motors, VLT is prepared to bid $6 billion Universal Standard Dollars for the 50% ownership of the company.

Dear VLT Automotive Group,
We have accepted your offer, and you now have 50% and the rights to use the Cevan brand within the Van Luxemburg market.
Also, we can find no record of VLT ever working with Cevan Motors, but I believe you worked with Celsan - is that correct?
Your $6billion (£4,257,120,009.39 at the current exchange rate) was considered the best amount.
However, all model designs have to go through our government's motoring department and transport department, and yours, I assume, before they can be released for sale in their respective markets.
Thanks,
Chris Smith
