Alanea

The Minister of Alanea's Blue Corp. has just announced his 'strong sadness' upon hearing the breaking news of Commander Harry Paxton's death, a Blue Corp. commander who died about half an hour ago whilst leading his fleet in a foreign rescue operation. Eight of Paxton's officers were also killed.
A Battlehawk Cruise Ship made a transmission over an hour ago to surrounding boats to come to its aid. Pirates were reported to be the culprits and a 4-boat strong rescue fleet was sent by a Blue Corp. receiver that had picked up on the signal.
Many of the people boarding the ship were tourists from a currently unknown region, and many of them were held hostage on the top deck. However Blue Corp. did manage to rescue 18 innocent people, but the issue that remains now is where to put them. Blue Corp left the scene earlier as backup accelerated and a supposed bomb on board did not explode.
The Blue Corp. Minister would like to retrieve the bodies of those who died, if possible, from the cruise ship. He also added that one officer said the commander's death 'could have been prevented', since a mercinary-type passenger on board was armed yet did not assist the capture commander.
The Alanean government have called this a 'total negligence of responsibility' and damaging to diplomatic relations.
The report is ongoing and the Battlehawk security service is expected to give information on the origins of the 18 hostages.
