So I was scanning over AMG's [Happy 6th NSBirthday!] Six year thread, and I noticed people making references to this 'Underwater Bubble' idea. This got me thinking, and I decided to do something similar in idea and possibly design, but not in execution. pretty much, Heirosoloan scientists have created what they believe is an underground paradise with strange fantastical creatures. Pretty much they've created their own dream world. So, various nations would be allowed to take control of city-states in the subterranean paradise, nicknamed the UnderHeaven. Heirosoloa would control the central city, which would contain a large system of elevators that would lead to the surface.
Now, I'm still thinking this up, so ideas and advice would be appreciated. Currently I'm thinking that the technology might be limited, but there will definitely be minor fantasy elements here. Maybe not dragons and dwarfs and elves running around with 'magic' bows and axes, but probably genetically modified animals [Possibly some modified humans as well] which would lead to glowing butterflies and electric otters.
As for the actual RP, it would consist of the nations controlling their respective city states doing whatever they want. Because of the slightly fantastical nature of the RP, I would be pretty lax with what you can do. It would be like a miniature region, but with city-states instead of full on nations. You could trade, war, etc. Also, surface nations can just be generally outraged because of the genetic experiments and the idea of creating this 'heaven.' There might eventually be a surface/underground war. Now I'm going to go wait for feedback.
