On the deck of the ANSCG Truth, August 4th, 2065, 2:29 PM
"...Captain, no bogeys in sight." Wilkinson said.
"Good, keep your eye on the radar. I don't want to jeopardize this mission"
"Aye aye sir! You heard him boys, keep active." shouted Wilkinson.
Wilkinson was a stubborn man, but he kept loyal to his superiors.
He was always bullying the inferior and treated them like dirt.
He believed that strict behavior to the inferior would toughen them up
and help them get ready to take on harder positions on the ship
But the captain, Briggs Hamilton, disagreed with his belief. He believed that
teamwork and support of his men proved more superior than to punish them.
He was a good leader, always listening to his men and
keeping them satisfied, but worked hard to protect them and his country.
August 4th, 2065, 9:34 AM
Hamilton was dressing in his usual garments, getting ready for
bed, when all of a sudden he heard a beep call. The call came from the
radar deck. He knew something came up, he switched back to his Premier
robes and hat.
"What's going on? Who sent that call??" asked Briggs Hamilton
"Sir, it appears we are being halted. Our communications and radar
technologies have been faulted." said one of the technicians.
"Send some engineers to fix the antennas and cables." commanded Hamilton
"But sir, they're fine, see? The green light emitting means that the machines
are working properly. But we can't pick up a signal anywhere."
"Contact ASNCG Station 4736. Ask for a signal link." said Hamilton.
"Yes sir" replied the technician.
"It seems we can't host a contact with them either." said the technician.
"Im afraid we are lost at sea, Captain."
"Never state such a fallacious claim! How dare you talk to me as such!" howled Hamilton.
"I apologize for my irregular behavior my Captain." excused the technician.
The captain walked away commanding the rest of the technicians to try to
find a signal to use. But no signal was ever found.
The following morning, August 5th, 2065, 8:38 AM
The captain staged a meeting in the cafeteria of the Truth.
He explained with the sailors of the ship the situation
regarding the communications department of the ship.
He warned that the Truth would be vulnerable to attack
from any ship, and it's the sailors jobs to protect her.
After Hamilton delivered his heed to the sailors, he walked back up to his
quarters, summarizing a plan to bring the ship back to Asiom. Instead he
found a more preferable solution.
