The Latest Polls show that the Democracy Now party, leading with 36.36% of the vote, with the Stoklomolvi-Beatusian Party trailing a close second with 27.27%, the Labor Party with 18.18%, and the Sanderson Party, and Nationalist Party both holding 9.09% of the vote. This election is turning into quite the surprise, as the current party, the Nationalist Party, has fallen far behind the Democracy Now Party, and the newly formed Stoklomolvi-Beatusian Party.

The Democracy Now Party is maintaining it's lead with 27.78% of the vote, while the Nationalist Party has moved up to challenge it with 22.22%. The
Stoklomolvi-Beatusian Party holds third with 16.67% , while the Sanderson Party and Labor party are in a distant forth and fifth with 11.11%, followed by the Environmental Party and Blessed Party with only 5.56%, and the Nuclear Party has yet to garner any votes. However the election has just starting, and things could go anywhere from here!
Belkaland
07-03-2009, 08:30
The Principality of Belkaland officially endorses the Sanderson Party and asks the following question to the Environmental Party.

What are you bloody hippies still doing alive!?!?

We also would like to ask the Democracy Now Party as to why they have no stance on anything other than the military.
Third Spanish States

The Confederacy people believe the principles of the Nuclear Party will increase the chances of Beatus surviving a possible Peak Oil.

Although in secrecy... there are less than humanitarian goals behind such choice.
Ameriganastan

"I, Lord Cody Wayne Lowery the 2nd, proudly give my vote and support to the Sanderson party. The more dictatorships, the better. If you do win Sir Sanderson, keep me in mind if you require an ally."

Well, here are the final poll results from the today's vote:

Labor Party 7.41%
Blessed Party 3.70%
Sanderson Party 18.52%
Environmental Party 3.70%
Nuclear Party 3.70%
Democracy Now Party 22.22%
Nationalist Party 25.93%
Stoklomolvi-Beatusian Party 14.81%

However, as it has always been in Beatusian Elections, the poll results were not even close. The votes have been counted, and tallied, and the real winner is, Igor Staten Vladovich, of the Stoklomolvi-Beatusian Party. The breakdown of the vote is below:

Labor Party 1.02%
Blessed Party 31.27%
Sanderson Party 2.73%
Environmental Party 0.01%
Nuclear Party 0.94%
Democracy Now Party 9.24%
Nationalist Party 20.23%
Stoklomolvi-Beatusian Party 34.56%

From what we can piece together, the Sanderson Party, had a strong following, until, the last minute announcement of support from Belkaland, and then Ameriganastan, which scared off many perspective voters. Support from the Third Spanish States, was cited as a great boost for the Nuclear Party, however was too little too late. The militant Democracy Now Party, was able to coerce many into voting for them, however they were only able to produce such results in the rural areas, as they lack a proper foothold in the cities. It was a surprise turn of events, when the Stoklomolvi-Beatusian Party pulled out a win, that most felt was going towards the Nationalist Party, however, the Path of the Blessed, was able to get out the vote for the Blessed Party, which took many votes away from the Nationalist Party. Well it has once again been an inspiring and entertaining election, and we hope you will join us again, for the next Beatusian Election!
