"Dammit! Look out here!" The guard took the cigar out of his mouth, motioning towards a small slit in the boarded window. "Christ... What is that? Some kinda battering ram?" Arthur shook his head angrily. "Paul! Didn't you pay attention during the counter-insurgency briefings? That's an RPG-7-" A rattling explosion rocked the building, the metal doors shaking and rumbling. "We won't be able to stand another one of those. Paul, remember that oath we took?" Paul stumbled up, brushing himself off. "What use is it? The Father is dead, we took our oath to him, we should give ourselv-" A harsh ringing rang through the room, followed by a thud. "Paul, Paul, Paul. We're the Holy Guard. We don't surrender." Turning around to the dozen or so men assembled in the room, the Captain barked. "Anyone else want to consider leaving?" A dead silence fell over the room. "Good. Now, Arthur, start boarding up that door. Alan, you g-" Another explosion rumbled throughout the building, smoke filling the doorway as the two large doors fell over, tracer bullets sparking through, the Captain bleeding from a neck wound, helpless and silent on the ground. Within a few minutes, It would all be over.

*Cumberland, Nistroia, Outside The Father's Holy Palace, 1300 hours*
"So, we've finished off the 'Holy Guard' then?" A curt nod followed from the short, stubby man, an overly large jacket wrapping around him. "Of course sir. Every last one. As it says in the book of Matthew, 'He who lives by the Sword, dies by the Sword.'" He lifted up the pistol previously dangling in his hand to emphasize the point. "Indeed. Let us never live by such barbarous rule again." Glancing at his pocketwatch, the taller man frowned. "I'm sorry, friend, but I must be off. They've mentioned some sort of a binding law, or other. Gotta keep the little children in line, you know?"
"Aye sir, sorry to have you off. Good luck with it all."

*Cumberland, Nistroia, Inside the Inner Chambers of the Father's Holy Palace, 1310 hours*
"...And so, we have come to an agreement. 430 votes 'aye', 123 votes 'no', 4 men abstaining. Ah, James. Glad you could spare enough time to get here in time for us to ratify this Constitution." James smiled, slightly out of breath. "You know me, had a few men smoking on patrol duty. Can't let that go by without having one myself." Scattered laughs rang throughout the Chamber. "So, tell me again, why are we all here in the house of the-" James cleared his throat, and in a very saracastic tone, said: "'The Father's Holy Palace'."
"Father's holy Palace? general, you missed the whole session. This is the Chamber of the Gated House." James stopped and asked "Gated House? What's going on here?"
"Why James, don't you know you're in the territory of the Confederacy of Nistroia?" He blinked a few times. "I missed more than I could imagine." He said. Among the dust and rubble, a heavy stone block plopped down in front of James' feet, startled gasps erupting all throughout the mass of men and women. "Let's get out of here. I'll tell you all of what's happened outside, where it's safer."

*Just outside the House of Government Representatives, 1335 hours*
"Confederacy, huh?" James muttered absent-mindedly. "Yep. Took a whole lot of flak over the ban of an Official Religion, but I think it's better overall. For the whole nation." James threw his cigarette on the ground and stamped it out with his boot. "Well. We'll see how it all turns out, sooner rather than later."

A call to all free Nations:
I hope these fine days treat the free nations of our fine world well. However, the days are not as bright for Nistroia. As we have overthrown the corrupt and dictatorial Theocracy of years before, we find ourself in disarray. We would like to send out a plea for help, one appealing to the better nature of all free nations. Gangs roam our battered streets, and members of the old regime still resist the newly formed Confederacy, despite promises of amnesty. We hope that you will help us in any way that you can. Peacekeeping forces would be much aprreciated, as would be weapons and ammunition. At the very least, we would be grateful if you sent no more than a message of thanks. In the name of the Three Houses:
Secretary Marvin Browne

OOC: This is open, but no invading armies or nukes please.

We thank you for the shipment, but, quite frankly, the amount of arms you are providing far outnumbers our official forces, numbering only Twenty-five Thousand. Also, any payment for these weapons will take time, as we are already knee-deep in debt. In any case, we thank you for the advisers and help you have given us.

No matter. If you wish to provide us with a revised list based off ours more suited to your needs, the excess weapons will be sent elsewhere. Otherwise we will simply ship what has already left our nation and hold off on all further shipments until asked. Here is a rough inventory of what is en route now:

2,000 HK33 assault rifles
1,500 HK21 machine-guns
900 Carl Gustav recoilless rifles
10 Cascavel armored cars
5 Jararaca recon vehicles
5 Urutu APCs
20 Mod 56 105mm pack howitzers
Plentiful ammunition for said weapons
and
2,500 advisers

We will send the remaining advisers, as well as any further weapons you require. And do not worry about payment; we can settle that matter at a later time. Consider what we have sent so far as a gesture of goodwill.

We can send nothing but our thanks, and much of that. We will put the weapons and vehicles to the best of our abilities, and the advisers are much welcome. Cordially yours:
