Karan Motors, one of Astholm's biggest motor manufacturers, today launched the Clydan Golf.

This family hatchback is larger, safer and bigger than previous generations. It is available in three- and five-door hatchback bodystyles with high-class European style. It is based on the Volkswagen Golf platform, but is not a badge-engineered/rebadged version of it - the Clydan Golf retains its own individual style.
This is not the same as the Karan Clydan, which is a size up from it and a different car altogether!
Two petrol engines are available: a 1.4-litre/75bhp 4-cylinder and a 1.6-litre/100bhp 4-cylinder. Both are Volkswagen-sourced, and replace the previous 1.4 and 1.6 engines. Also available is a new 2.0-litre/115bhp turbodiesel, badged as TDi.
High-performance versions, and diesel versions are set to follow soon.
Trim levels are S, Sport and SE.
Base-specification S cars are available with 1.4-litre/75bhp and 1.6-litre/100bhp 4-cylinder petrol in three- and five-door hatchback bodystyles.
Sport trim level gets the 1.6-litre/100bhp 4-cylinder petrol or the 2.0-litre/115bhp 4-cylinder turbodiesel. It is available in three- and five-door hatchback versions. This version gets alloy wheels.
SE trim gets the 1.6-litre/100bhp 4-cylinder petrol and the 2.0-litre/115bhp
turbodiesel engine, and is available as a five-door hatchback.

If you want us to export the vehicle to your nation, specification levels run two ways:
In any given market, the same car model may be available in multiple model ranges or trim levels (having the same body style, but different equipment packages.)
It is common for any specific car model to carry additional badges or letterings to announce its trim level. For example, the Renault Scénic includes entry-level trim (badged Renault Scénic Authentique), the next model up (additional badge: Expression), mid-range trim (Dynamique) and luxury trim (Privilège).
Another example will be Toyota Camry's trim levels: CE (Classic Edition), LE (Luxury Edition), SE (Sport/Special Edition), XLE (Extra Luxury Edition), and plus limited and anniversary editions.
Basically, you can have badges, e.g. Base, Sport, Executive, or letters, e.g.
L, GL, GLX, GT.
