As i say in the thread titile, this is gonna be an ooc/ sighnup thread for a banquet my imperial family will be holding.

It'll be held at an imperial estate (several acers in size) on the planet Cha'ti.
I'll probably post a template of some sort but for now just say who you'll send, how many body guards they'll have (prefered maximum of 3) and how you plan to arrive.

If anyone is planing something sinister on this thread be warned, depending on what it is, YOU WILL BE IGNORED!

I'd probably send some Mekantan warlord to go make contact, but I doubt your imperial family would appreciate the Mekantan bringing ingredients a Mekantan would find palatable.

That, and bringing slaves to torture to death so the Mekantans could join in the eating part of that banquet would probably count as sinister anyway. ^_^

It's an orbital drydock. That pictures from the game X3, maybe X4, if you've heard of it. Brilliant, but really difficult, space sim series.

I'm considering entering this, but not sure how to play it as I'm a returning NSer who was never too good at roleplays (I just resurrected this nation, and had Random Kingdom before it), and last time I RP'd as this nation it was in the FT time frame but extremely behind on technology, so I'm not sure how to go from that to FTL travel.

If I were to enter this RP, my ambassador would be the (female) President (read: near-absolute dictator) of Golden Rebirth, she would have two bodyguards, and arrival would be in some sort of embarassingly clunky backwards FTL ship.

Haha yeah, just the biggest actual pic I could find of the design. Specs put it at 40 km high, 20 km wide, 10 km tall. Essentially a massive fire platform for the forward gun and it took a loooong time to get it running. Runs off a quantum singularity since that's the only source I knew of big enough to keep it going.

The picture you linked looks like it is a fighter, not a capital ship.

It's extremely tall and not very long. The pic doesn't do it justice I'm afraid. I've been looking but I still haven't found anything yet.

well i think ive seen it somewhere before... I know what it's supposed to look like as a general template anyway, it would probably be bigger than that anyway so no matter.

The design itself is the Air Cruiser for the Republic in Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, The Clone Campaigns expansion. The ship design and the premise of the forward gun were adapted but otherwise the 'internals', size, and complement have been revamped.
