[this is Kind of a solo kind of thing that will show the internal happenings of my empire and address the drama behind the Emperor's new programs.]
IC: For five years I have been Emperor, and for five years I have done nothing... the Emperor wrote to his wife Victoria from his office in the Reichstaag. The idea of this occured when his father, the great restorer and hero of Christstan passed away. At his father's funeral he heard the praises of a man well accomplished, a man who had been a doer in life and had come to win the hearts and minds of the entire country. Fredrick had his claim to fame during his years as Prince, but as Emperor he had done nothing, his popularity was just the result of the loyalty to the former emperor. Since his father's abdication, Fredrick had simply been carrying on his father's legacy, continuing the old politics of the day. Fredrick had his own plans, his own ambitions but he had much to fear from the carry-overs from his father's regime.
The loss of my father has brought me great sadness, however it poses a new opportunity to me; I may now step from his shadow and act alone, as an Emperor should. He continued in his letter. For he past five years he had consulted his father on everything, hoping to earn the popularity and love his father enjoyed. He had his own plans, but did not wish to disappoint his father and thus remained silent. Now he could act freely.
The economy was sputtering as a result of the heavy government interference with everything. The massive government programs required an exorbitantly high tax rate in order to maintain it, and many of those programs Fredrick despised. His father had done what was necessary to resume control of the government and route out the hated Rotharian Republicans from the country but now, the government could relax its efforts. Before his were his reports brought by Parliament, and he could only shake his head as he looked at the graphs before him, with the tell-tale signs of a Stagnant economy. "No", he said under his breath, "Now I will do something about it."
He grabbed his pen and a paper and began to draft his first real Imperial Decree, one he made as the real Emperor, not as a man acting s one.

The Emperor has announced an immediate tax cut on Income Tax (by 15%) and reduced the Sales To 9%, and has promised to downsize the Imperial Business Bureau!
Well with their "Guidance" to our economy altered we may hope to see a resurgence in business.
Yeah I'd hope so, but we all agree they were doing "wonders". the radio blasted in the car as Heinz drove his family home. "Its about damn time those pests stopped meddling in our business, maybe now I might be able to run my shop...."

"hmm, it seems the Emperor is reversing one of his father's acts." Franz, a veteran of the NCP party and former adviser to Emperor Heindrick said to another party member.
"I doubt he will do anything drastic, his father held that Bureau to be vital to controlling the economy and watching the people. To alter that would be opening the door to destroying all we have built." the other member replied.
"We will see. I fear our Emperor may have decided to change course." Franz replied as the T.V. report continued on the story about he Decree.
