Epic Fail.
Actually, no it's not an epic, fail - all of us here have seen far worse, and can doccument that.
He at least asked it as a question rather than declareing war , and offered an alternative.
Trade is good, trade makes it possible to survive your first 'dogpile on the newbie' war.
Embassy threads, so that you have friends - even better. I'd suggest Rlaa, that after reading the stickies, that you open one.
Plenty of good examples to be found.

Seconded- You should also try to do more character intensive rps, develop your culture society and politics. Write about it.

For example, Qing is a very good example of how many can do worse.

Yeah, don't worry, it takes time to develop these things. My most recent Rp taught me the value of a factbook, especially when you are an "anachronistic/mixed tech" player trying to Rp in a modern tech war. I think we should be sensitive to the fact that some people might not know the stickies exist, but it is good that people posted links here because it is best to go on the assumption, imho, of newbie until proven n00b. Yes, there is a difference, btw.

Hey, I'm happy with waging war on a country about 100 times smaller than mine.
