A single vessel, if it could even be called that for it was more a shuttle than an actual vessel, entered Real Space and released a buoy. The small ship faded away into T-Space, returning from where it had appeared leaving space empty again with the exception for the buoy left behind.

This area of space was technically unclaimed but it lay near several other nations. After a few minutes, the buoy began to send out a pulse signal. After sending out several pulses, enough to get the attention of anyone nearby, a single message followed the pulses.

This is Nhur-Galladu of the Fallen Empire of Balrogga. We are going to travel through this area and would like to give you a change to meet with us. Those that wish should have their representative at the coordinates of this buoy in one week.

Once the message was sent, the buoy began to transmit a countdown ticking off when the meeting would begin.

OOC:

This is open to a few good players. I don't want too many so at some point this will close. If you might be a new player don't let that stop you from joining.

I am planning on making this a diplomacy thread but that does not mean someone can RP a misunderstanding that would lead to fighting.

The Fallen Empire is a nomadic collection of three races. They travel wherever they feel and usually if someone gets in their way they will "take care" of them. Nhur-Galladu is the leader and Warlord of the Ta'Nar. Under them are the Childer and the Kythons. Not many facts are known but there are many wild rumors. If you wish, you could fabricate some and use them in your RP.

Captain Ralf sat back from his computer screen the half translated message flashing on it. They had run across the buoy and its signal only a few hours before. Ralf had discounted his engineers request of bringing it on board. We do not know its purpose, it could be a mine. or it could be an ancient artifact decaying all the time in the void had been the response, he had to eventually order the engineers to stand down trying to reach a comprise he promised that if the signal could be translated and it seemed mostly harmless that they would bring it onboard and open it up.
"Well it is mostly harmless, why are you waiting?"
"Hello HAL I thought I ordered you to mind the reactor core."
"The core's fine, now don't dodge the question."
"I don't know HAL theres just something about it, it still smells of danger."
"Please captain, if it was dangerous we wouldn't still be hear either it would have sent the necessary information to its source and we would have been attacked by pirates or worst or it would have fired upon us itself and since its done neither..."
"Fine, active the tractor beam and bring it aboard, let the engineers have their fun."
"HAl whom are the Nhur-Galladu of the Fallen Empire of Balrogga?"
"Unknown captain, they aren't in our data banks nor mentioned any in writings or sources of information we have, which is not as unusual as it use to be."
"Yes, the problems of leaving one's local cluster, wake me if anything comes up."
"Aye captain..."

OOC:

I am giving the chance for a couple others to show up before I arrive.

Hopefully they don't show up thinking your ships sent the message... That would be funny.
