alright so in my supreme randomness and boardem during classes the other day I came up with the idea for a post apocalyptic PMT RP. This is what my basic idea is, In 2063 in a research experiment to attempt to create FTL travel mysterious spheres appear all over the globe, these sphere transport everything absorbed to not only another parallel universe but several years into the future (about 2130ish). While the spheres in our time were random and scattered across all parts of the world, the spheres on the other side have more localized points with three sphere in Asia (Tokyo, Hong Kong), Europe (Berlin, Paris), and New york. Those transported find the cities in ruins and upon searching around find some people who fill us in on the world be destroyed and that the last vestiges of modern society are in South Africa and Australia which were oddly unaffected by said disaster. Those of us transported then begin a journey to get to these cities believing they can get back by doing so. Along the way you can meet up with other characters, get attacked by random survivors, or even mutated creatures.
Well to say the least this is my general idea, any one interested is free to submit there ideas to tweak this.
