To Defense Contractors of the World:

It has recently come to our attention in the Federal Armed Forces that FNAT's first Equipment Drive was very much incomplete in terms of what it accomplished. Because of this, we have opted to offer contracts for the production of machines intended to help the Federal Armed Forces a force to be reckoned with.

The following requirements must be filled, in terms of necessary equipment:

Army:
Indirect Fire Rocket Artillery (self-propelled, preferably)
Anti-tank weaponry (guns and mines)

Naval:
Destroyer
Minelayer
Minesweeper
Frigate (missile)
Fast-Attack Submarine
Ballistic-Missile Submarine
amphibious landing/transport ship

Airforce:
Strategic bomber

The option to purchase DPR would also be preferred, if possible.

Thank You,
Thomas Breyer
Chief Quartermaster, Federal Armed Forces

“Lioness” HIFV
Background:
The Lioness is a multi-role HIFV that can carry several different turrets. It is designed to protect its carried infantry to the fight and then give them fire support needed to win.
The Lioness HIFV was developed as a private venture by NPS Heavy Division. It is meant for sale to countries equipped with old APCs/AFVs and in need of an upgrade. It was also designed to serve with the MBT140 and TM-1 tanks, to allow reductions in logistic and training.
The hull design is based on the MBT140 design, with changes made for HIFV role. The engine is to the front and right of the vehicle, unmanned turret directly behind it, and troop compartment in the rear. An electrically operated rear door allows troops to enter and leave the Lioness protected by its armor.

Lioness Turret Image:
http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/uu322/N...nessTurrets.png

Armament:
The Lioness can be armed in four different configurations. Each is suitable for different purposes:
A) 20762AT Turret- 20mm Auto-Cannon, 7.62 MG, 2XATGM Launchers: This is the standard multi-purpose turret, suitable for most operations.

B) 2020AT Turret- 2X20mm Auto-Cannon, 2XATGM Launchers: This turret allows more ammunition for its ATGMs, by eliminating storage of the 7.62 ammunition. It is meant to support Mechanized infantry against tanks.

C) 20762 Turret- 2X20mm Auto-Cannon, 2X7.62 MG: This turret allows more ammo for the 20mm and 762mm by giving up the ATGM capability. It also gives a lot more fire power against infantry compared to the ATGM turrets.

D) 2040 Turret- 2X20mm Auto-Cannon, 2X762 MG: This turret carries 2 40mm Automatic Grenade Launchers instead of the 7.62mm. This gives more HE on targets, but less fire volume.

E) All Lioness versions carry the multi-purpose, close range, 2X6 tube 80mm grenade launching system. Mounted on the front of the turret and fired from a panel in the commander’s controls, the grenade launchers are used to engage infantry at short ranges, up to 60 meters. The grenade types fired by the system are: Fragmentation, White-Phosphorus, Less-Than-Lethal “Flashbang”, Less-Than-Lethal Tear Gas, IR Screening, and IR Decoy.

Fire Control and Observation:
The sights are located in the unmanned turret, and both the gunner and commander can fire the weapons (commander cannot fire the ATGMs).
The Thermal Imaging System (TIS) has magnification x10 narrow field of view and x3 wide field of view. The thermal image is displayed in the eyepiece of the gunner and commander sights together with the range measurement from a laser rangefinder. The Eye-safe Laser Rangefinder (ELRF) has range accuracy to within 10m and target discrimination of 20m.
The fire control computer automatically calculates the fire solution based on: lead angle measurement; bend of the gun measured by the muzzle reference system; velocity measurement from a wind sensor on the roof of the turret; data from a pendulum static cant sensor located at the centre of the turret roof; temperature, and barometric pressure from a sensor on the turret roof.
Solutions to moving targets or to fire-on-the-move are given by measuring the traverse speed of the turret while tracking the target. A secondary emergency system enables for firing using a mechanical ballistic computer.
The driver has either three observation periscopes or two periscopes on both sides and a Driver’s Thermal Viewer. The periscopes provide 120° field of view.

Protection and survivability:
The Lioness is protected by a combination of composite passive armor, Non Explosive Reactive Armor, and an Active Protection system.
Armor: The Lioness armor is composite and made of layers of steel, DU (Depleted Uranium), and ceramics. The crew compartments in the Lioness are lined with Kevlar to prevent spalling. The passive armor is angled and in some parts spaced, to protect against virtually all large caliber at contact ranges. Due to the fact it has a small, unmanned turret; the Lioness has better protection at some angles than the MBT140 and similar tanks.
Reactive Armor: The Lioness has spaced, multi-layered NERA (Non Explosive Reactive Armor) plates on most of its hull. The NERA plates protect the HIFV against medium CE threats, and when combined with the passive armor suite also minimize the penetration chance of even the largest CE threats.
Active Protection: The Lioness is equipped with an active protection system based on fire-control radar and a “hard-kill” launching system. The fire control radar, located on top of the turret, identifies incoming rockets and missiles and classifies them. It than reacts by firing a quick reaction projectile from one of the 20 carried around the hull. This projectile engages the threat 50 meters away from the vehicle by detonating on it. The system is reloadable and storage in the tank allows for 20 extra projectiles to be carried.
Screening and Decoys: As mentioned before the Lioness carries 2 6 tube 80mm. grenade launchers on the front of the turret. These tubes can fire IR Screening and IR Decoy grenades to help the HIFV screen or avoid incoming threats. In addition the Lioness is equipped with a standard self screening using condensed diesel fumes.
Fire suppression: The Lioness uses several systems to prevent and suppress fires. The passenger, gunner-commander and driver compartments are equipped with fire detectors and 4 BCF canisters. The canisters are operated either automatically by the detectors or manually by the crew (Gunner-Commander and Passenger Compartments). 2 more BCF canisters are located in the engine compartment and can be operated from the driver’s controls or from outside the vehicle. The driver and commander have red-light indicators for an engine fire. The diesel fuel for the engine is stored in 4 tanks in the front and back of the HIFV, with cutoff valves allowing the use of each tank separately.

Explosion prevention: All main HE ammunition is stored in separate containers, made from high-resistance anti-flame material. The crew and passenger seats are all of the suspended type, keeping them above the floor in case of an explosion underneath the vehicle.
NBC protection: The Lioness is equipped with an overpressure system. The system pumps air from outside the vehicle through a system of filters and into to the vehicle, creating an overpressure that keeps contaminated air out if the Lioness is fully buttoned. If the Lioness cannot be fully buttoned, each crew member and passenger can use an individual, pressurized mask with a 90% field of vision. The overpressure system is integrated with an air-condition system but will operate even if that system is damaged.
The Lioness has towing shackles on its front, back and sides, to enable recovery in hard situations.
Mobility:
Engine: The Lioness is powered by a multi-fuel 2000hp, twin turbo-charged (1400kw) engine. The engine is located at the front of the tank, to the right of the driver compartment. A hydro-mechanical semi-automatic transmission transfers power from the engine to the final drives. The transmission has 5 forward gears and two reverse gears. The hp/ton ration achieved is 29, and road speed is 80 Kmh.
The Lioness has 6 pairs of road-wheels with separate helical-springs and pneumatic dampers. The helical springs were chosen for better performance over harsh terrain. The tracks are 550mm wide, and do not have rubber soles. Connection between sections is made by a separate pin.
Vertical obstacle ability is 1.1 meters, with trench crossing being 2.6 meters.

Communications, Navigation, and Interface:
Internal communications: The Lioness has internal communications system, with headsets integrated to ballistic helmets. The system allows the commander to choose which crew members he hears and can hear him. The system has a separate commander to driver channel, receiving power from the best protected battery, to ensure the commander can always communicate with the driver. The system also has a wireless ability, which switches on automatically when the helmets are disconnected from the system; this prevents crew members being accidently disconnected and allows for faster dismount drills.
External Communications: The Lioness is prepared to accept 2 transmitter-receivers and 2 receivers, antenna bases being integral. The antenna bases allow for lowering the antennas forwards and backwards from inside. The MBT140 is equipped with a AFV/infantry telephone located at the rear of the vehicle and connected to the commander’s internal communications.
Navigation: The Lioness is equipped with an integral GPS navigation system, viewed on the commanders and drivers LCD displays. The system includes navigation rout planning, point to point line-of-sight checks, battle preplanning and other useful features. The navigation system can be integrated into battlefield management systems and used to give a complete picture of the battle.
Interface: The crew interface of the Lioness includes a LCD screen/Control for each crew member, clearly showing the information that crew member needs. The LCD screen/Control is encased in high-resistance polymer and has buttons allowing control of many systems. These electronic controls are all backed-up by conventional switches and controls in case they malfunction.
Amenities: The Lioness gives its crew all that’s needed to fight and stay buttoned for long periods. 2 50 liter internal, NBC protected water tanks supplies hot and cold water through a water point. An air-conditioning system connects to the crews overalls to keep them cool while fighting. The Lioness can hold 4 days worth of rations for its crew.

Armament:
The “Fox” carries a 105mm rifled barrel gun, a 7.62 coaxial machine-gun, a 12.7 commander’s machine-gun, and 2 6-tube multi-purpose grenade launchers.
A) 105mm Rifled Gun- The 105mm was chosen as the main armament due to its relatively small ammunition(allowing more rounds to be carried), its wide variety of ammunition types, ammunition affordability(compared with larger guns), and lower weight compared to the alternatives.
The 105mm rifled gun can fire a large variety of rounds including APFSDS, HEAT, HESH, Gun-Launched ATGMs (with minor adjustments), APAM and others.
B) The 7.62 coaxial machine-gun offers the ability to engage lighter targets with a low cost, high volume of fire and with a very large amount of stored ammunition on board.
C) The 12.7mm was selected as the commander’s machine gun, as a medium between the 105mm and the 7.62mm. The 12.7mm round is powerful, can penetrate lightly armored targets, and has a slightly longer effective range than the coaxial. In the TM-1, the 12.7mm is mounted in a fully stabilized weapon station, which can be operated from within the tank while it is “buttoned”.
D) The multi-purpose, close range, 2X6 tube 80mm grenade launching system was developed specifically for the “Fox”. Mounted on the front of the turret and fired from a panel in the commander’s controls, the grenade launchers are used to engage infantry at short ranges, up to 60 meters. They also fire screening and decoy grenades. The grenade types fired by the system are: Fragmentation, White-Phosphorus, Less-Than-Lethal “Flash bang”, Less-Than-Lethal Tear Gas, IR Screening, and IR Decoy.

Fire Control and Observation:

The TM-1 uses the same FCS and observation as the M.A.C M1-T958 MBT, with several added features.
The TM-1 has a two-axis Gunner's Primary Sight- Line of Sight (GPS-LOS) which increases the first round hit probability by providing faster target acquisition and improved gun pointing. The Thermal Imaging System (TIS) has magnification x10 narrow field of view and x3 wide field of view. The thermal image is displayed in the eyepiece of the gunner's sight together with the range measurement from a laser rangefinder. The sight allows for the gun to be stabilized on a specific moving target(“Pixel Lock”).The Northrop Grumman (formerly Litton) Laser Systems Eye-safe Laser Rangefinder (ELRF) has a range accuracy to within 10m and target discrimination of 20m. The gunner also has a Kollmorgen Model 939 auxiliary sight with magnification x8 and field of view 8°.
The CITV (Commander’s Independent Thermal Viewer) has been integrated with a weapon station holding the 12.7mm machine-gun. As a result the CITV now has two modes of operation. In the first mode the CITV acts as a separate, fully stabilized day and night sight for the main and coaxial weapons, allowing the commander to “slave” the gunner controls to identify targets or fire. In this mode the CITV allows the commander to identify, select, and range targets before even the top of the turret is exposed, and while remaining buttoned. The second mode the CITV acts as a fully stabilized day and night sight for the 12.7mm weapon station. In both modes the CIV allows for all the features of the FCS.
The driver has either three observation periscopes or two periscopes on either side and a central image intensifying periscope for night vision. The periscopes provide 120° field of view. The Driver's Vision Enhancer (DVE), AN/VSS-5, is based on a 328 x 245 element un-cooled infrared detector array, operating in the 7.5 to 13 micron waveband. A Raytheon Driver's Thermal Viewer, AN/VAS-3, is installed on the TM-1 under optional order.

Protection and survivability:

Since the TM-1 is lighter than an MBT, it utilizes an array of high-tech solutions to maintain protection levels against all KE (Kinetic Energy) and CE (Chemical Energy) threats.
Armor: The TM-1’s armor is composite and made of layers of steel, kevlar and ceramic plates. The armor was designed with spaces and angles to maximize protection with as little weight as possible. This suite of passive armor protects the tank KE threats such as smaller tank guns, small-arms and shrapnel.
Reactive Armor: The TM-1 has spaced, multi-layered NERA (Non Explosive Reactive Armor) plates on most of its turret and hull. The NERA plates protect the tank against medium CE threats, and when combined with the passive armor suite also minimize the penetration chance of most large CE threats.

Active Protection:

The TM-1 is equipped with an active protection system based on a fire-control radar and a “hard-kill” launching system. The fire control radar, located on top of the turret, identifies incoming rockets and missiles and classifies them. It than reacts by firing a quick reaction projectile from one of the 20 carried around the turret. This projectile engages the threat 50 meters away from the vehicle by detonating on it.

Screening and Decoys:

As mentioned before the TM-1 carries 2 6 tube 80mm. grenade launchers on the front of the turret. These tubes can fire IR Screening and IR Decoy grenades to help the tank screen or avoid incoming threats. In addition the TM-1 one is equipped with a standard self screening using condensed diesel fumes.

Fire suppression:

The TM-1 uses several systems to prevent and suppress fires. The turret and driver compartment are both equipped with fire detectors and 3 BCF canisters. The canisters are operated either automatically by the detectors or manually by the crew (Gunner and Commander Compartments). 2 more BCF canisters are located in the engine compartment and can be operated from the driver’s control or from outside the vehicle. The driver and commander have red-light indicators for an engine fire. The diesel fuel for the engine is stored in 4 tanks in the front and back of the tank, with cutoff valves allowing the use of each tank separately.
Explosion prevention: All main gun and Grenade ammunition is stored in separate containers, made from high-resistance anti-flame material. Blowout panels are located above the 105mm ammo storage to direct explosion energy away from the crew. The crew seats are all of the suspended type, keeping them above the floor in case of an explosion underneath the tank.

NBC protection:

The TM-1 is equipped with an overpressure system. The system pumps air from outside the vehicle through a system of filters and into to the tank, creating an overpressure that keeps contaminated air out if the tank is fully buttoned. If the tank cannot be fully buttoned, each crew member can use an individual, pressurized mask with a 90% field of vision. The overpressure system is integrated with an air-condition system but will operate even if that system is damaged.
The TM-1 has towing shackles on its front, back and sides, to enable recovery in hard situations.

Mobility

Engine:

The TM-1 is powered by a multi-fuel 1000hp, turbo-charged (730kw) engine. The engine is located at the back of the tank, with a hydro-mechanical semi-automatic transmission transferring power from it to the final drives. The transmission has five forward gears and two reverse gears. The hp/ton ration achieved is 28.5, and road speed is 80 Kmh.
The TM-1 has 5 pairs of road-wheels with separate helical-springs and hydraulic dampers. The helical springs were chosen for better performance over harsh mountain terrain (common in Nachmere). The tracks are 530mm wide, and do not have rubber soles. Connection between sections is made by a separate pin.

Communications, Navigation, and Interface

Internal communications:

The TM-1 has an internal communications system, with headsets integrated to ballistic helmets. The system allows the TC (tank commander) to choose which crew members he hears and can hear him. The system has a separate TC to driver channel, receiving power from the best protected battery, to ensure TC can always communicate with the driver.

External Communications:

The TM-1 is prepared to accept 2 transmitters and 2 receivers, antenna bases being integral. The antenna bases allow for lowering the antennas forwards and backwards from inside. The TM-1 is equipped with a tank/infantry telephone located at the rear of the vehicle and connected to the commander’s internal communications.

Navigation:

The TM-1 is equipped with an integral GPS navigation system, viewed on the commanders and drivers LCD displays. The system includes navigation rout planning, point to point line-of-sight checks, battle preplanning and other useful features. The navigation system can be integrated into Battlefield management systems and used to give a complete picture of the battle.

Interface:

The crew interface of the TM-1 includes a LCD screen/Control for each crew member, clearly showing the information that crew member needs. The LCD screen/Control is encased in high-resistance polymer and has buttons allowing control of many systems in the tank. The tank has a two-axis Gunner's Primary Sight- Line of Sight (GPS-LOS) which increases the first round hit probability by providing faster target acquisition and improved gun pointing. The Thermal Imaging System (TIS) has magnification x10 narrow field of view and x3 wide field of view. The thermal image is displayed in the eyepiece of the gunner's sight together with the range measurement from a laser rangefinder. Laser Systems Eyesafe Laser Rangefinder (ELRF) has a range accuracy to within 10m and target discrimination of 20m. The gunner also has a auxiliary sight with magnification x8 and field of view 8°.

The digital fire control computer is supplied by Great Plains AeroSpace (a subsidiary of OTW with research facility in Siap. The fire control computer automatically calculates the fire control solution based on: lead angle measurement; bend of the gun measured by the muzzle reference system; velocity measurement from a wind sensor on the roof of the turret; data from a pendulum static cant sensor located at the centre of the turret roof. The operator manually inputs data on ammunition type, temperature, and barometric pressure.

The driver has either three observation periscopes or two periscopes on either side and a central image intensifying periscope for night vision. The periscopes provide 120° field of view. Driver's Vision Enhancer (DVE), AN/VSS-5, is based on a 328 x 245 element uncooled infrared detector array, operating in the 7.5 to 13 micron waveband. A Driver's Thermal Viewer, AN/VAS-3

Background:

Following the release of the TM-1 Medium Tank, NPS began development of a much heavier, Main Battle Tank design. The MBT was to be armed with a 120mm smooth bore gun, use many of the sub-systems used in the TM-1, and weigh approximately 60 tons.
The Anghele Army, having examined the TM-1 design, showed interest in the prototype MBT. NPS suggested that an even heavier MBT, armed with a 140mm main gun would be better suitable for Anghele.
As development progressed, it became clear that while some systems from the TM-1 could be used, a lot of systems will have to be designed from scratch. The sheer size of this new tank and its vastly different (compared with the 105mm) gun required much work on part of the design team.
The result of this project is the MBT140 “Wild Boar”. The MBT140 is a well armed, heavily protected main battle tank suitable for all types of combined arms warfare. It is manned by a crew of 4. The human loader was retained to deal with auto-loader malfunctions, help with maintenance, and replace injured crew members. The hull is set-up unconventionally, with the engine to the front, in order to increase crew survivability. A rear escape hatch allows crew to enter and leave the vehicle while remaining relatively safe.

Armaments:

The “Wild-Boar” carries a 140mm L/47 Electrothermal Chemical (ETC) smooth bore gun, two 7.62 coaxial machineguns, a 12.7 commander’s machine-gun, and 2 8-tube multi-purpose grenade launchers.
A)140mm ETC smooth bore Gun- The 140mm was chosen as main armament due to its high muzzle energy and velocity. The 140mm has a barrel length of 47calibers (645.4 cm), and utilizes a FLARE ignition system. The gun is loaded by an automatic loading system capable of loading up to 12 rounds per minute. The human loader is tasked with solving any problems in the system.
The gun is capable of firing APFSDS, HEAT, APAM and GLATGM, as well as most other ammunition types.
B)Two 7.62 machineguns are mounted as a coaxial weapons, one to the right and the other to the left of the main gun. Each has a special ammo container made of high-resistance polymer and a system allowing the storage of a 2500 round belt.
The two machineguns have a combined rate of fire of 1500 rounds per-minute, a firepower that will easily suppress even the toughest infantry.
C)The 12.7mm was selected as the commander’s machine gun, as a medium between the 140mm and the 7.62mm. The 12.7mm round is powerful, can penetrate lightly armored targets, and has a slightly longer effective range than the coaxial. In the MBT140, the 12.7mm is mounted in a fully stabilized weapon station, which can be operated from within the tank while it is “buttoned”. The 12.7mm weapon station has a compartment for a 200 rounds belt.
D)The multi-purpose, close range, 2X8 tube 80mm grenade launching system was developed for the TM-1, and adapted for the MBT140.

The MBT140 uses the same FCS and observation as the TM-1, adjusted for the different gun.
The MBT140 has a two-axis Gunner's Primary Sight- Line of Sight (GPS-LOS) which increases the first round hit probability by providing faster target acquisition and improved gun aiming. The Thermal Imaging System (TIS) has magnification x10 narrow field of view and x3 wide field of view. The thermal image is displayed in the eyepiece of the gunner's sight together with the range measurement from a laser rangefinder. The sight allows for the gun to be stabilized on a specific moving target (“Pixel Lock”).The Eye-safe Laser Rangefinder (ELRF) has range accuracy to within 10m and target discrimination of 20m. The gunner also has an auxiliary sight with magnification x8 and field of view 8°.
The CITV (Commander’s Independent Thermal Viewer) is integrated with a weapon station holding the 12.7mm machine-gun. As a result the CITV has two modes of operation.
The driver has either three observation periscopes or two periscopes on both sides and a Driver’s Thermal Viewer(as standart). The periscopes provide 120°field of view.
The loader has an indpendent rotating day and night(Light Intensification) viewing system, usefull in urban situation to maximize the tanks observation capabilities.

Protection and survivability:

The MBT140 is protected by a combination of composite passive armor, Non Explosive Reactive Armor, and an Active Protection system.
Armor: The MBT140’s armor is composite and made of layers of steel, DU (Depleted Uranium), and ceramics. The crew compartments in the MBT-140 are lined with Kevlar to prevent spalling. The passive armor is angled and in some parts spaced, to protect against virtually all large caliber threat at contact ranges.
Reactive Armor: The MBT140 has spaced, multi-layered NERA (Non Explosive Reactive Armor) plates on most of its turret and hull. The NERA plates protect the tank against medium CE threats, and when combined with the passive armor suite also minimize the penetration chance of even the largest CE threats.
Active Protection: The MBT140 equipped with an active protection system based on fire-control radar and a “hard-kill” launching system. The fire control radar, located on top of the turret, identifies incoming rockets and missiles and classifies them. It than reacts by firing a quick reaction projectile from one of the 20 carried around the turret. This projectile engages the threat 50 meters away from the vehicle by detonating on it. The system is reloadable and storage in the tank allows for 20 extra projectiles to be carried.Screening and Decoys: As mentioned before the MBT140 carries 2 8 tube 80mm. grenade launchers on the front of the turret. These tubes can fire IR Screening and IR Decoy grenades to help the tank screen or avoid incoming threats. In addition the TM-1 is equipped with a standard self screening using condensed diesel fumes.
Fire suppression: MBT140 uses several systems to prevent and suppress fires. The turret and driver compartment are both equipped with fire detectors and 5 BCF canisters. The canisters are operated either automatically by the detectors or manually by the crew (Gunner and Commander Compartments). 2 more BCF canisters are located in the engine compartment and can be operated from the driver’s controls or from outside the vehicle. The driver and commander have red-light indicators for an engine fire. The diesel fuel for the engine is stored in 6 tanks in the front and back of the tank, with cutoff valves allowing the use of each tank separately.

Explosion prevention: All main gun and Grenade ammunition is stored in separate containers, made from high-resistance anti-flame material. Blowout panels are located above the 140mm ammo storage to direct explosion energy away from the crew. The crew seats are all of the suspended type, keeping them above the floor in case of an explosion underneath the tank.

NBC protection: The MBT is equipped with an overpressure system.
The MBT140 has towing shackles on its front, back and sides, to enable recovery in hard situations.

Mobility:

Engine: The MBT140 is powered by a multi-fuel 2300hp, twin turbo-charged
(1700kw) engine. The engine is located at the front of the tank, to the right of the driver compartment. A hydro-mechanical semi-automatic transmission transfers power from the engine to the final drives. The transmission has 5 forward gears and two reverse gears. The hp/ton ration achieved is 27, and road speed is 77 Kmh.
The MBT140 has 7 pairs of road-wheels with separate helical-springs and pneumatic dampers. The helical springs were chosen for better performance over harsh terrain. The tracks are 670mm wide, and do not have rubber soles. Connection between sections is made by a separate pin.
Vertical obstacle ability is 1.4 meters, with trench crossing being 3.2 meters.

Communications, Navigation, and Interface:

Internal communications: The MBT140 has internal communications system, with headsets integrated to ballistic helmets. The system allows the TC (tank commander) to choose which crew members he hears and can hear him. The system has a separate TC to driver channel, receiving power from the best protected battery, to ensure TC can always communicate with the driver. The system also has a wireless ability, which switches on automatically when the helmets are disconnected from the system; this prevents crew members being accidently disconnected and allows for faster dismount drills.

External Communications: The MBT140 is prepared to accept 2 transmitter-receivers and 2 receivers, antenna bases being integral. The
antenna bases allow for lowering the antennas forwards and backwards from inside. A radio-silence communications system to replace flags, comprising of two IR and regular light on each side of the turret, allows for minimum use of radio by lower level commanders. The MBT140 is equipped with a tank/infantry telephone located at the rear of the vehicle and connected to the commander’s internal communications.
Navigation: The MBT140 is equipped with an integral GPS navigation system, viewed on the commanders and drivers LCD displays. The system includes navigation rout planning, point to point line-of-sight checks, battle preplanning and other useful features. The navigation system can be integrated into battlefield management systems and used to give a complete picture of the battle. Interface: The crew interface of the MBT140 includes a LCD screen/Control for each crew member, clearly showing the information that crew member needs. The LCD screen/Control is encased in high-resistance polymer and has buttons allowing control of many systems in the tank. These electronic controls are all backed-up by conventional switches and controls in case they malfunction.

Amenities:

The MBT140 gives its crew all that’s needed to fight and stay buttoned for long periods. A 70 liter internal, NBC protected water tank supplies hot and cold water through a water point. An air-conditioning system connects to the crews overalls to keep them cool while fighting. The MBT-140 can hold 7 days worth of rations for its crew. A special electric cooking pan, along with plates, utensils and 4 folding light weight chairs are stored in a special compatment.

M.A.C- 56 5.56x45NATO Series Assault Rifles

http://i36.tinypic.com/k9uez7.png

Basically, the M.A.C-56 is an improved, lightened and refined SIG SG-550 series rifle manufactured under license in Anghele. The M.A.C-56 uses the same gas operated system, with gas piston removably attached to the bolt carrier, and with rotating bolt with two massive lugs. The recoil spring is located around the gas piston rod, above the barrel, and the bolt carrier attached to the gas piston rod by the mean of removable charging handle. The gas port has gas regulator with two different open and one closed position (latter for firing rifle grenades).

The receiver of all M.A.C-5X series guns is made from stamped steel which makes it very resistant and has two major parts, upper and lower, which are connected by pushpins. The barrel is screwed into the upper receiver.Corrosion issues with the Sig 55X line of rifles have been addressed in the M.A.C-56 and all metal parts are now coated with a super corosion resistant Maritime Finish. The trigger unit has a safety/fire selector switch on the left side of the receiver, with 3 settings: safe, semi-auto, full-auto.If desired, additional module could be installed in the trigger mechanism to allow 2/3-rounds burst mode. Rear sights are drum-type or carrying handle integrated red-dot sights (like those found on Heckler-Koch rifles). On certain current production models rear sight is replaced with full-length Picatinny style rail with folding back-up reat sight.

The M.A.C-56 has muzzle compensator/flash hider of NATO-standard diameter, so it is possible to launch rifle grenades from the muzzle and fit a sound suppressor.

The M.A.C-56 can be fitted with detachable folding bipods under the handguard, and is issued with side-folding, skeletonized polymer buttstock. Every rifle of M.A.C-56 family can be fitted with proprietary, quick detachable scope mount, although current production rifles are usually fitted with one or more picatinny rails. Export versions can be equipped with commercial telescope sights, ACOG or "red dot" sights, depending on customer preferences. The M.A.C-56 also can be fitted with bayonet. Standard magazine capacity M.A.C-56 rifles is 30 rounds.

Standard magazines are made of polymer can be clamped together for ease of carry, using the magazine studs on the side of the magazine walls.Further variants such as a Kurz (compact) model a mid-size battle rifle in 7.62 and a sniper rifle are being developed as well as a machine gun and 30/40mm grenade launching module.

M.A.C Type-147 | ASU

http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/733/mactype147asu.png

The M.A.C Type-147 | ASU has only minor differences from the basic M.A.C Type-147 | U assault rifle.

-Caliber: 7.62x39 mm

-Action: Gas operated, rotating bolt with 2 lugs

-Overall length: 735 mm (490 mm with folded buttstock)

The front sight base is lowered, and the standard adjustable rear sight is replaced by the flip-up rear (marked for 200 and 400 meters distance), mounted on the receiver cover. The receiver cover is hinged to the receiver at the front and flips up when opened (original M.A.C Type-147 | U receiver cover is detachable). Otherwise the M.A.C Type-147 | ASU is similar to the M.A.C Type-147 | U, it has same controls and uses same magazines. The M.A.C Type-147 | ASU cannot be fitted with bayonet.A side-mounted rail for the night or red-dot scopes can be mounted as an optional,if so the designation becomes M.A.C Type-147 | ASUD

Asgarn 12.7x99mm Heavy Machine Gun

PRODUCTION VERSION : http://img372.imageshack.us/img372/3856/50bmgasganrha1.png

The Asgarn .50 BMG heavy machine gun is belt-fed, air-cooled machine weapon capable of semi-automatic and automatic fire. The Asgarn fires from a closed bolt at all times, and uses a short-recoil operated action with a vertically sliding locking block, which rises up to lock the bolt to the barrel extension, and drops down on recoil to unlock the bolt from the barrel. It also has a bolt accelerator, made in the form of a lever located at the bottom of the receiver. Upon recoil, once the barrel is unlocked from the bolt, it strikes the accelerator, so the kinetic energy of the recoiling barrel is quickly transmitted to the bolt, improving the reliability of the weapon.
It features a semi-direct gas-impingement system which by turning the gas plug from 1 to 6 increases and decreases the rate of fire of the machine gun by taking exiting gas from the barrel while firing and chanelling it to the bolt through reinforced gas tube, the gas plug system is also suitable (as seen on FN FAL´s) to increase reliability in extremely cold weather.

Barrels are screwed into the barrel extension and are not quick-detachable on standard Asgarn weapons; furthermore, once the barrel is installed in the weapon, the headspace must be adjusted prior to firing, or the weapon may fail to fire or produce a serious jam.The rear part of the barrel is enclosed in a short, tubular, barrel jacket with cooling slots, while the front part is fluted. The back of the receiver houses a heavily reinforced bolt buffer, and a special system of two additional buffers are used to soften the movement of the heavy barrel. On infantry guns, the cocking handle is installed on the right side of the weapon, but slots are made on both sides of the receiver for tank installations which may require a left-side cocking handle.

Asgarn machine guns use a disintegrating linked steel belt, with the feed switchable from one side to the other through the re-installation of certain parts in the feed unit. The belt feed is of the two stage type – every cartridge is first withdrawn from the belt toward the rear by the pivoting extractor lever, attached to the bolt. Once the cartridge is clear of the belt, it is lowered into a T-slot cut into the bolt face, and pushed forward into the barrel. Spent cartridge cases are forced down the T-slot and out of the weapon through an opening at the bottom of the receiver by the following cartridges, or by the pivoting belt extractor lever (for the last cartridge case). A rotary switch is used to select the track for left or right side feed.

Since the gun fires from a closed bolt, it has a separate firing pin, powered by its own spring, and hosted inside the bolt along with the sear and cocking lever. Upon the recoil stroke of the bolt, the cocking lever pulls the firing pin back until it is engaged by the sear. Once the bolt is fully in battery (locked closed), a pull on the trigger raises the trigger bar so it acts on the sear and releases the firing pin. The standard firing controls consist of a push-type thumb trigger and sear release buttons located between the dual spade grips. Alternatively, an electric solenoid trigger can be installed for mounted vehicle applications.

The Asgarn has an unusual method of providing semi-automatic fire – it has a bolt latch, which locks the bolt to the bolt buffer in the open position after each shot. Therefore, if gun is fired in semi-automatic mode (single shots), for each shot the operator must first release the bolt forward by pressing the bolt latch release, located next to the thumb trigger (as the gun fires from a closed bolt). After the bolt is released and the gun is loaded, the operator may push the trigger to fire a single bullet. If the automatic mode is desired, the bolt latch must be turned off and locked by turning its lock to the left. In this position it will not engage the bolt and the gun will fire continuously as long as the trigger is pressed. Asgarn heavy machine guns feature, among other items, an additional manual safety located next to the trigger.

Standard sights consist of a Hensoldt Optical Sight with 7.5x augmentation. Optionally, folding blade front and frame-type rear sights can be mounted. In this case the rear sight is mounted on the receiver, the front sight is located at the front of the receiver and protected by an arc-shaped sight protector. Additionally, various types of other telescopic and night sights can be installed using appropriate mountings.

M.A.C Defense SF-9/P

http://img114.imageshack.us/img114/739/pdwoi7.png

The SF-9/P is a new PDW development of M.A.C Defense.

The SF-9/P PDW follows the current trend for modularity of design, with intent of providing a compact personal defense weapon of about pistol size but of greater effectiveness for military personnel which is normally not issued with rifle of any kind.It has already been adopted by the Anghele Army,Navy,Air Force and Law Enforcement, and is in use with some Special Forces units abroad.

The SF-9/P is delayed blowback operated weapon that fires in single shots 2 or 3 rounds bursts and in fully automatic mode. It is made mostly from rust and heat resistant metal alloy and impact resistant polymers, with metal alloy upper receiver and a polymer lower receiver. Barrel and bolt can be replaced to change the caliber from standard Armor Piercing 9x19 +P+ to .40 S&W and .357 SIG Armor Piercing Rounds. The change will also require use of different magazines, which, in turn, may require replacement of the grip. The removable grip and the magazine body are made from polymer for easy check of remaining ammunition supply.

The SF-9/P features ambidextrous controls, including safety, fire mode selector, bolt catch release and magazine release. It is fitted with a telescopic buttstock. Sights are installed using integral Picatinny rail on the top of receiver, with standard being either open sights or red dot. Additional Picatinny rail is provided at the bottom of the gun housing, in front of the trigger guard.

Each unit comes with two magazines and cleaning kit.

The Gemtech sound suppressor shown is optional.

CAR-97

History:
The history of the CAR-97 is one born of war; it was created in the mists of Arenas’ civil war. This was the first weapon ever produced in country and it has more the proved its self in combat. During the war there were multiple problems found with the rifle, however these were eventually worked out and have left Areona with a safe reliable and dependable weapon that can be used in even the harshest of conditions.

Operation:
It uses the 7.62 NATO round because of the increased damage of the round; however it can be modified to shoot any other cartridge. Just like the AKM the gas operated action has a massive bolt carrier with a permanently attached long stroke gas piston. The bolt carrier rides on the two rails, machined in the receiver, with the significant clearances between the moving and stationary parts, which allows the gun to operate even when its interior is severely fouled with sand or mud. The receiver is stamped from sheet steel. The buttplate is made from plastic except the carbines that have a retractable metallic buttstock with rubber buttplate. It is often fitted with a 3x-magnification telescopic sight.
There are at current 3 versions of the rifle. All rifles also have a top, left and right rail system. The LMG version also has a built in bi-pod that can be removed.

Features of other weapons:
AK-47
• Recoil gas system
M-16
• Trigger grip and sights.
• Rear sights have a 2 position aperture adjustable for windage.
M1A1 carbine
• Retractable steel wire buttstock
HAC-7
• The charging handle is on the upper left side of the receiver, just high enough to be easily reached be either hand.
• The mag. release is directly behind the magazine a good deal in front of the trigger guard.
• The selector and bolt release are reversible with the use of the selector.

Re: Equipment Drive

First, we encourage you to examine our catalog (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=577616) in detail to better determine which of our products suits your needs. Still, we offer the following equipment:

Army:
Close-Support Fighter/Bomber - AT-36 light strike plane (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5215), AC-62 gunship (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5466), AC-15 heavy gunship (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5461&view=findpost&p=3467184), FA-21 fighter-bomber (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5456)
Indirect Fire Artillery (shell ammunition) (preferably self-propelled) - GT-11 SPG (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5454&view=findpost&p=3467102)
Indirect Fire Rocket Artillery (self-propelled, preferably) - none yet.
980 HEAVY MBT's - T-11H heavy tank (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5454&view=findpost&p=3481648)
Anti-tank weaponry (guns and mines) - no anti-tank guns nor anti-tank mines. We do offer the ATGM-11 (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5312) man-portable anti-tank missile and the ATGM-85 (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5376) hypersonic anti-tank missile.
SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon) - R-25L 6.8x43mm LMG, which uses M-68 magazines (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5459&view=findpost&p=3467162)
SHW (Squad Heavy Weapon (grenade launcher, etc) - GL-10 25x60mm AGL (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5469&view=findpost&p=3467347)

Naval:
Capital Ship (battleship or battlecruisers) - this type of warship is not really effective, as its guns are outranged by cruise missiles, which are more than capable of penetrating its armor. Nonetheless, if you must, please consider the BC-1 and B-13 offered by Michael Shipyards (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14335975&postcount=7)
Destroyer - DDH-30 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14335975&postcount=7)

amphibious landing/transport ship - LC-8 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14335975&postcount=7)

Airforce:
Air-superiority fighter - F-21 (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5456)
Strategic bomber - none offered yet
Attack Gunship - AC-62 gunship (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5466), AC-15 heavy gunship (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5461&view=findpost&p=3467184)
Refueler - C-15F (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5461&view=findpost&p=3467179)

OOC: Dear Lord, Anghele, a link will suffice!

OOC: It would suffice if the requirement of the Nation was "links to defense equipment storefronts".

M.A.C Heavy Industries | Defense enters military trials to win,and to do so we use a very informative marketing campaign.

Since the requesting nation asked for products to be showcased, that´s what we did.

We would like to order 300,000 Asgarn 12.7x99mm Heavy Machine Guns with DPR, which amounts to, I believe, $8,810,000,000 USD.

We are at this stage very interested in purchasing 1050 T-11H MBTs, which would, if I am not mistaken, cost $16,800,000,000 USD. However, we are by no means done making decisions as to your other products and would also like to discuss the purchase of the DPR for the T-11H MBT.

Re: DPR

Do you intend to only build 980 T-11H tanks in the next 5-10 years? If so, we can grant you a limited domestic production license (for 980 tanks, with associated equipment) for the cost of the 980 tanks plus a 1% fee, making the total cost $15,836,800,000. If not, let us know how many tanks you expect to build over that time period, and we can work out an appropriate fee.
Obviously, we can only accept if you agree to neither transfer the tanks elsewhere nor to transfer the technology found in the tanks into your own vehicles, without securing our permission to do so.

The limited DPR will do fine, in that case. We are planning, in any event, with a revision in our needs, 210 tanks, but the capability to produce replacements as necessary would be useful. Perhaps limited DPR for 500, then? Over the next 5-10 years?

Unfortunately, at this point you do not have anything that we are currently in need of.

However, we would like to inquire to a specific job, if possible: would it be possible to contract the design of a self-propelled rocket artillery platform to you for our purchase?

A puntual reply would be appreciated. Thank you.

Not on everything. However, much of what we still require is not offered by many, including yourself (certain types of naval equipment, especially). However, we are still in need of a Rocket Indirect Fire Artillery Piece, preferably self propelled (motorized) and would be willing to contract the designing and construction of such pieces to you. Simply name a reasonable price.

Are you buying limited domestic production rights to this equipment, or do you want us to produce it? If the latter, please note that ammunition is sold separately, so you should probably purchase the following ammunition only available through us:
grenades for the GL-10 (prices listed at bottom) (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5469&view=findpost&p=3467347),
AAM-97 series (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5470) short-range air-to-air missiles for the CAH-4s and fighters,
AAM-100 series (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5471) long-range air-to-air missiles for the F-21s,
AGM-238 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14335950&postcount=3) anti-tank missiles for the AC-15s and CAH-4s,
SAM-97S (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5470) shipborne short-range surface-to-air missiles for the AC-12s and BC-1s,
CM-8 (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5633) shipborne cruise missiles for the BC-1s,
and shells for the Mk.11 naval guns (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14335963&postcount=4) on the BC-1s.

Furthermore, you may want new maritime patrol helicopters for your carriers. We recommend you purchase 4 SH-4 (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5603&view=findpost&p=3479102) maritime patrol helicopters for each AC-12 carrier.

Once you have finalized your order, we will discuss delivery.

Are the DPRs for the various munitions available?

We would also then, like to purchase 32 of the maritime patrol 'copters (one set for each carrier and 2 replacement sets) which should add up to $640 million USD.

OOC: I'm not clear on something: did I purchase DPR or is that not available?

Re: Munitions

Certainly. How much of each munition you wish to purchase do you estimate you'll build over the next 5-10 years? Also, do you want unlimited or limited DPR? Once you've laid that out, we'll be able to set a price.

Otherwise, your orders are confirmed. The grenade launchers will take the shortest amount of time to build, and should be completed in 3 months at our facility in Burtford. From the same facility, we will deliver 8 SH-4 helicopters in 4 months. The F-21 fighters and 828 of the F-7N fighters will be completed next, in 9 months, from our factories in Macao; the AC-15s and C-15Fs will be completed 15 months from now. The CAH-4 assault helicopters will take 16 months, as we have only recently opened up production lines for them, and will be built in our factory complex in Saigon. The carriers will take 40 months to build, and will be built at Hyundai Yards 1-6 in Incheon; 276 of the F-7N fighters and 24 SH-4 helicopters will be delivered to Incheon, 46 fighters and 4 helicopters aboard each carrier. Finally, the battlecruisers will be finished in 60 months, being built at Corfu Yards 1-8.

For the ships, please have commissioning crews present at our shipyards at the appropriate times; for the aircraft, you can fly them out to The Fanboyists or have them delivered by ship. The grenade launchers can be delivered by ship, or, as we recommend, by our preferred air freight company, Universal Air Freight (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14484874&postcount=24).

We appreciate doing business with you.

What would unlimited DPR for each cost?
Defense Corporations
04-03-2009, 01:03
As mentioned, that depends on how much of each you think you'll build. If you can give us estimates - even guesses - then we will be able to price unlimited DPRs.
The Fanboyists

Bluntly, we have no idea how much we'll need, even a rough estimate... probably billions of bullets, tens of thousands of shells, a few thousand of each type of missile...We honestly are not sure. We do, however, want the means to produce as many as we need in the event of an emergency.

Army:
Close-Support Fighter/Bomber: F-7 Buccaneer (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5524), not quite finished yet; but I'm throwing it out on the table anyways, vast improvement over what it'll replace (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=3322).
HEAVY MBT's: Mac's Nakil or something from Lyras (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=4773)
SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon) LAR-655 (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=3597) and/or CMG-3/07 (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5397)

Based on price estimates from other DPRs, we'll price your unlimited DPRs as follows:
25x60mm smoke grenade - $14.3 million
25x60mm target practice (TP) grenade - $14.3 million
25x60mm tear gas grenade - $17.6 million
25x60mm HE 'frag' grenade - $19.5 million
25x60mm white phosphorous (WP) grenade - $24.4 million
25x60mm HE air burst (HEAB) grenade - $44 million
25x60mm high-explosive dual purpose (HEDP) grenade - $44 million
25x60mm thermobaric grenade - $48.8 million
25x60mm pre-programmable HE (PPHE) grenade - $73.3 million
AAM-97 - $79.7 billion
AAM-97H - $90 billion
AAM-100 - $3.02 trillion
AAM-100LR - $3.6 trillion
AGM-238 - $800 million
SAM-97S - $40.8 billion
CM-8 - $40.2 billion
304.8mm/45-caliber APC shell - $518.4 million
304.8mm/45-caliber supercharged APC shell - $576 million

Unlimited DPR, naturally, provides the right to produce as much as needed - thus, the term 'unlimited'.

Yes, we would be more than willing to design a custom rocket artillery piece, motorized and self-propelled as you have requested. Give us a few days, and we should have a working prototype shortly.
