Official Statement from the Equallyan Foreign Ministry
A plot of land has been set aside for foreign embassies. Those nations seeking to establish embassies on said land, should contact the Equallyan Foreign Ministry, with a letter or fax, addressed to the Embassy department.

The Community of Equallya will not construct your embassy, we ask kindly that you do, and we will try to be as accommodating as possible for your construction crews. Nations are encouraged to provide their own power, heating source, gasoline, and food, as such things can not be guaranteed by the Equallyan Government at this time. Those nations choosing to rely on Equallyan power, heating, gasoline, and/or food, will be subject to the same rations as the Equallyan people are, and should supply run short, will be cut off, before the Equallyan people. We do request the following, no weapons over 6mm caliber, no knives/swords with a blade longer than 10 inches, no more than 4 motor vehicles (mass transit stamps can be issued upon request). We also request, that if you intend to rely on any Equallyan utilities, supplies, you limit your total Embassy staff and Guards to no more than 35. Below, is the embassy application, embassy seekers that do not follow the embassy application, will be disregarded. All plots will be 150 yards square.

Shangri-La Downtown
Embassies set in the bustling center of Shangri-La, just a stones throw from most Equallyan government offices, and the Presidents residence.
Shangri-La Waterfront
Embassies set on the presitine waterfront of the Chang River, which flows through the East section of Shangri-La. The waterfront district, is mainly residential, and has breathtaking views of the city skyline. Embassies in this location, are permitted on slip for the docking of a boat, up to 90 ft, in length. Does not count against the 4 motor vehicle limit. Waterfront Embassy plots do not actually touch the river, however are quite close, and are in the Waterfront district.
Shangri-La Outskirts
The Outskirts of Shangri-La, are quiet, and private. Embassies in this area, are set in within the natural beauty of the Vitrous Forest. Distance between embassies in this location, are guaranteed to be at least 400 yards, at the nearest points. The roads leading to these embassies are not up to the standards of the city roads, and in the winter may become covered in ice, and snow, therefore, it is recommended that all vehicles have four wheel drive. Utilities, and supplies are not available to embassies in this area, that is, there are no electrical lines, gas or water pipes, and food delivers may commonly be interrupted by weather factors. Therefore they will not even be offered.
