Iezz Inter-Stellar Communications; Bringing You Closer.

OOC at bottom for simplistic overview

Having difficulty directing your fleets during your galactic campaigns?
-Fed up with your aides brining you data three weeks out-of-date?
-Frustrated by the lack of communication between you and your loved ones on far flung colonies?

Well Iezz Inter-Stellar Communications may have the solution for you and your nation!

For centuries you and your predecessors have had their campaigns hampered by the slow flow of information to and from the battle field, for millenia colonies have been lost in the isolating darkness, for eternity civilisations have been lost to each other, fumbling through the darkness looking for that chance first contact only to loose those thin threads of relation when that greeting comes to a close.

But for no longer! Because Iezz Inter-Stellar Communications has embarked upon it's corporate task of "Bringing You Closer".

Due to the lack of active co-operation and total absence of a central galactic center of diplomatic exchange the I.I.S Comm's company wishes to fill that gap of universal proportions with an interconnecting network of system based "sattellites" connecting the various internets, ethernets, extranets, virtual realities, news feeds and the other abstract nation based forms of communication together. Through this we hope to establish an effective system of dialogue exchange to be utilised by all space faring races for matters of diplomacy, trade and information exchange in a completely non-biased manner.

If you are interested in this offer then please read onto our specification detailing what such a venture would acheive.

The I.I.S Comm corporate venture will, upon the interested party inquiring and acting upon it, result in the installation of an information relaying and receiving focused sattelite connecting your virtual information based netwok to the other connected networks out there. Prices are as follows:

Installation and subscription:

It costs forty two thousand standard galactic credits (non-negotiable), to install a single sattellite in a single system, with the current capped capacity of simultaneous relaying and receiving of seven terabits per second; although hopeful advancements in technology will gradually increase this limited value.

The sattellites will be maintained by I.I.S Comm with a fee of five hundred galactic standard credits per galactic standard months, failure to comply with this fee will result in the sattellite being locked out from the external networks except for communiques between I.I.S Comm and the government in question. Each sattellite is however the effective property of the purchasing government, and they may, rent and sell bandwidth to the public, private and other sectors if they wish; otherwise it is not of our concern if the military and government is given exclusive or priority access.

If you are interested in having one of these systems installed on behalf of your government then please contact I.I.S Comm A.S.AP!

Note: Many realms already have effective inter-planetary extranet systems established in their territory, in this case is is possible for a single sattellite to be installed in one system and the extranet routed through it for all systems; however, the speed of the service is likely to suffer.

Note: Multiple sattellites can be installed in one system.

Announcement: I.I.S Comm is unaffiliated and uninfluenced by the actions of the governmental nation in which it is located.

OOC: Right, this is essentially a corporate opening I've devised for a reason as to why everyone knows what goes on in other places in the galaxy, but there is another more integral reason.

I have expressed in various threads that I am continually annoyed, or is it saddened? By the lack of depth around here, subsequently it is very rare or impossible for two nations to keep up a flowing dialogue and theres no where where you can really post off hand news updates or government announcments on something that's transpired.

It is my hope that from this I will be able to set up a thread where people who have "registered" and can use it to talk ICly to other nations in a continuous manner to discuss events, diplomacy, trade ect.

I just hope it works.

I'll bite(also FT is a bitch to try and sell to, either everyone is using the tech already or they'll be doing it soon or they have a better system(like quantum entanglement for this case though I'm not use how much information that really provides.)

We wish to purchase your equipment.
We would like six of your satellites for two hundred and fifty two thousand galactic credits to be sent around our homeworld(F&D Prime II).
We also wish to purchase two for Prime III(our second colonized planet)
for eighty four thousand credits.
For a total of three hundred thirty six thousand galactic credits, half of the amount has been wired with the rest upon delivery.
If these systems provide like you claim you can expect further business from us.

OOC: Thanks, given the lack of interest i'm beginning to think this is interpreted as a store front, when it's actually an attempt to open up the FT community... Hopefully the actual service "thread" will be up if enugh people bite...bah.. i'll plough on ahead.

While we already have a fairly reliable intersphere network.
We wish to see if your commutation network can interface with our own systems and as such we wish to buy two satellites. Half of the credits have been sent with the remainder upon delivery.

Our technicians after a subsequent investigation have discovered that it is relativly easy to modify and install the sattellites upon your spheres. As such, your order has been processed, and the sattellites will be fitted withen 1 to two weeks depending on the placement and location of your spheres. Thank you.
