It was a time of conflict, tension and competition The Two Rival powers: The United Terran Federation and The Hyperborian Khanate. Both were mortal enemies, the hat was so much in their genes that there could never be peace between them.

This was a Cold war unlike any seen in the galaxy, a Galactic Cold War that would not end till one power was gone from The Galaxy.

and Ayame had one plan.

Known as Victory without War, The plan was to use words and diplomacy instead of war and death to give The Goals of The Khanate. It was to also help start a Sphere of Influence in The Galaxy to rival The Terran Sphere. Using Economic, Diplomatic and at times, Military Power, The Hyperborians would help show The Galaxy that The Hyperborians were not out to destroy The Galaxy.

Unlike what Hyperborian Propaganda was showing with The Terrans, Declaring them "Genocidal Apes" "Nazi Worshipers" or even "Those that want to Destroy Civilization"

Whilst The Federation would love nothing but to play games with the Steppe empire, it has better things to do than to worry about third rate powers centuries behind its own development. We implore other nations to ignore this renegade state as we will. We will how ever station extra ships along the steppe neutral zone in order to discourage any attack or raid by their inferior forces. While they may want to provoke a hostile response from us in order to our nation look unfavorable amongst the international community this will not be the case. Because if any attack upon a Federation ship is prosecuted our fleets will commence " Operation rain fiery death" against the steppe empire. The Message was soon changed for Hyperborian HoloNet turning it into a declaration of Genocide by The Terrans. This would be used in Propaganda against The Terrans in one nation The Hyperborians knew would end The Terran Federation.

The Hyperborians soon started to send a envoy to get trade started, Weapons were to be the thing to be traded to The People of the Deforn Republic, and make sure Hyperboria has a ntain under its Sphere of Influence.

Another thing in The Galactic Cold War was the planning of Colonies in other Galaxies in the Local Group. The Hyperborians were planning them to help expand The Khanate through out the Universe.

To Ayame Khan,

It is of significant concern to this Department that, when faced with a neutral power which has shown no sign of belligerence and has even offered to help resolve your dispute peacefully, the first response of your government is to immediately make threats and warnings against them. Without even knowing our alignment or military capabilities you are attempting to incite fear with foreboding statements. Your claims of victimisation would fall on more understanding and believing ears if your government were not outrightly, irrationally hostile towards nations with whom they are yet to even establish formal contact.

In spite of this unfortunate first contact, the Federation is still willing to act as neutral mediators in your dispute in an effort to bring about a peaceful resolution to this rivalry, whatever the reasons behind it may be. This would, if successful, preclude you the necessity of having to defend yourselves against anything in the first place. Neither side has anything to lose by attempting a diplomatic resolution, but should such pragmatism prove successful you both have much to gain - namely, the ships, soldiers, and innocent lives on both sides which will not perish as a result of hostilities.

The United Federation has no quarrel with the Terran Federation - indeed, amid the propaganda and deceit we are yet to determine an actual cause for the less-than-cordial situation which presently threatens the stability of your own nation and, more likely given their comparatively diminutive size, the Hyperborian Khanate.

While we would be happy to sign a non-aggression pact with your Federation, an act of symbolism if nothing else, for the time being we should like to remain neutral to both involved nations until we exhaust all efforts to bring the Hyperborians to the negotiation table. Anything less could be perceived as deception or trickery on our part by their government, if after claiming to be neutral we then arrange papers to improve our relations. It is unfortunate that we made contact amid the hyperbole of the present circumstances, suffice to say.

It is the official line of the Federation Council that the Hyperborians, and yourselves if such is agreeable to your government, be brought to the negotiating table before this exchange of words has the slightest chance to become an exchange of munitions. Their clamour to grandly name this seemingly minor (and apparently causeless) disagreement the 'Galactic Cold War' causes concern that they may end up making indiscriminate threats towards other nations in the galaxy for whatever reason. Whether or not they are capable of causing disruption on such a scale is at question, but the Council would rather not see lives wasted on finding out.

The Kenwadei System. Hyperborian Space. 30 Parsecs from The Neutral Zone

The Hyperborians were now upping the stakes as they now started a test on a new weapon system. One that would be a danger to any enemy that dared the wrath of the Khanate.

The Star Destroyer Nova was near by, ready to test out The Singularity Bomb, a dread weapon that was made to create a singularity that would last for a short while.

Worse was that it would be used against Ships, stars and whole worlds. The bomb's secret was that it would be Teleported into The target. In the case for this test, into the core of a Planet

The System was around a White Dwarf. The target world was devoid of all life and was as cold as ice.

"Prepare Teleportation!" the Commander ordered. as The bomb was loaded on the Teleport Pad. Soon, The Teleporter hummed to life and soon the Bomb disappered.

"lets set it off now." The Commander ordered. The Bomb was soon set off by remote. once it was detonated. The Singularity it created soon made the planet Implode. Then It exploded outwards, sending a Shockwave that blasted a near by Moon apart. The Nova was well away from the Blast.

This was soon showed through out The Khanate and also to The rest of The Galaxy.

A disease wrapping itself in freedom and justice though providing nothing of the sort, only a veiled shroud around slavery and ignorance. In short the Federal Union's ideals or rather poor execution of them has offended our nation for quite some time.

We thought we were alone in our offense but we see we are not and therefore you are not without friends in your struggle. Even our enemies, the imperial nation of romadosia see through this veil and are preparing to stand up to the outright intimidation of the cowardly Federal union. In short we are given hope by your recent and past actions against this galactic tyrant and offer our full military support in this matter. I would offer the services of our 'special' divisions but they are unavailable.

Though I will note that even as I write this missive I am preparing to highlight the threat the Federal Union poses to this galaxy and lobby for the introduction of a full legion to further assist in the aversion of a true tragedy. The tragedy that this, 'proto' democracy will be allowed to endure and the militarily, spiritually, and intellectually weak will be allowed to dictate the actions of stronger, firmer, more pious nations.

The Milky Way galaxy was chaos, so many nations taking up so much space that war was common and Phenixica knew it. They preferred to avoid communications with nations in the Milky Way in order to setup a aura of Neutrality.

A Cold War in any sort did little to impress Phenixica and Surveillance Grid 002 next to a Warp gate Buoy was the only presence Phenixica kept in the Milky Way. This small group of 25 a mix of Scientists and Special Operations of the Military was the eyes and ears.

After creating a report on the situation the Imperial Senate was quick to send out a message to the parties involved.

Your situation has come to the attention of the Phenixican Empire of the Citerian Galaxy and us the members of the Imperial Senate which to put notice that if war does break out we will enter the Milky Way as Peace Keepers.

This next message is aimed at Hyperborian Space even if everybody heard it.

Your obvious propaganda and lying to your citizens does little to support your cause and if it continues you might not find us as 'neutral' as you would like. We have friends in the Milky Way and will make sure they are not threatened.

Greetings I am kireas Eunoch, governor of the realm and overseer of all initiative actions in this 'milky' Class galaxy. I am troubled to see that we have been declared a 'terrorist state' by the federal union. especially without evidence to prove his claim to the galaxy. this only serves to validate my points against them. Their lack of evidence alone should prove their benedictions deceitful and add credence to my own.

Though I realize I do prepare for war in the face of nothing but skirmishes and childish insults but I ask. If it only takes the will of the federal union's president to declare one a terrorist, then what of your own activities? What of your own iniquities? Not in the eyes of your gods, law books, or even peoples... No your rites, your justice, even your daily routines are judged iniquities according to the laws of one man, not of a nation, not of a people but just one human man! The president of the federal union!

A man who has proven willing to go to war for any purpose that serves his own and is against anything that does not! I may be the leader of a terrorist state good secretary Kayborn but you are merely a pawn in a game woven by one egomaniac bent on keeping his limited power. A man who must brainwash his citizens with constant propaganda to keep them uncompromisingly loyal to his nation, perhaps even to him personally. We know not the extent of the damage this one man has wrought to his nation but we will endeavor to fix it and return these scarred but wiser citizens to the fold of peace loving galactic beings worthy of nothing but good justice and prosperity.

For those that accuse me of being a warmongering harpy who's sole objective is to see the federal union destroyed I note that even now my diplomats are meeting with the Khanate themselves to discuss a possible end to the conflict and an alliance to stop the galactic hegemony of the union. If this measure succeeds then I will merely be acquiring forces to protect ourselves and our new allies in the event that this one dangerous man is overly devastated by the end of his utter dominance and seeks a military solution as is common practice from what I understand of his diplomatic policy.

As for any new military action against us for being the union's 'terrorist state' I only say that it is sad you cannot see these feral snakes for what they are. I add the fact that you too might find yourselves as 'terrorist states' merely for worshiping a god the president does not choose as his patron if he chooses any god for that matter. Or for any number of countless offenses that one may commit against his will. To put it bluntly, we are the peace keepers in this matter, we are seeking a lasting peace and all the benefits from it though for this peace to proceed unhindered, the federal union's dominance must be ended.

And the only ways to end this dominance are through an alliance and a treaty thereafter or through military destruction. If we are attacked by a third party, we will sorrowfully counterattack. Our soldiers will be filled with grief at the power of the shroud the union has cast over this part of the galaxy but we will not faultier. We will end this madness once and for all, one way or another. For the nations heeding the embargo against us our merchants sorrow at the same thing, our goods will remain idle in our storehouses, left to dust in the salesman's grief not only in his loss of credits but how one man can cloud so much.

I do hope my words, the words of my diplomats and the words of the people are not ignored. I hope that the shroud is torn asunder and all nations even the federal union can see it's madness and stop it before it's too late and space is made blue by plasma fire and orange by explosive death...

Whilst the Federation would like to wait and entertain the GPI’s delusions of grandeur and the Oh so grand martyrdom of their purist genocidal solders, and un democratic system of government The Federation has more important matters to deal with such as upcoming presidential elections. How ever we would also like to warn GPI, that its comments and message is treading our nations close to a situation that can only lead to an official deceleration of war by the senate on GPI and its allies. We have already mobilized to a level where our forces have secured and locked down our country and fortified their positions . Offensive elements of our military are at the ready at the authorization of the Terran Senate to execute offensive action against GPI as a nation.

This Government, will maintain the closest surveillance of the actions of GPI and its allies. This government will also request that its allies support its actions and condemn this rant and obvious threat that GPI has tendered. The 20th - 21st centuries in early earth history taught us a clear lesson aggressive conduct, if allowed to go unchecked and unchallenged, ultimately leads to war. This nation is opposed to war.

We are also true to our word. Our policy has been one of patience and restraint, as befits a peaceful and powerful nation. We have been determined not to be diverted from our central concerns by mere irritants and fanatics. But now further action is required, and it is under way; and these actions may only be the beginning.

We will not prematurely or unnecessarily risk the costs of WAR. Neither the United Terran Federation nor the galactic community of nations can tolerate deliberate deception and offensive threats on the part of any nation, large or small. Therefore if any offensive action is attempted by GPI covert or overt it will be considered an act of war against the Federation and its allies. The size of this undertaking makes clear that it has been planned for some months. We have no desire to dominate or conquer any other nation or impose our system upon its people. Nevertheless, Federation citizens have become adjusted to living daily on the bull's-eye of enemy and terrorist states militaries. The attempts to gain a foothold and manipulate allies against the federation in the alpha quadrant is a deliberately provocative and unjustified threat which cannot be accepted by this country, if our courage and our commitments are ever to be trusted again by either friend or foe. The Federation will then not rest until GPI and its government is eradicated to make way for a truly free government in its nation. This nation is prepared to present its case against the steppe-GPI alliance threat to peace.

We have always been willing to sit down and discuss peace, but it is difficult to settle or even discuss these problems in an atmosphere of intimidation.

That is why this latest threat -- or any other threat which is made either independently or in response to our actions must and will be met with determination. Any hostile move anywhere in the quadrant against the safety and freedom of peoples to whom we are committed, will be met by whatever action is needed. My fellow citizens, let no one doubt that this is a difficult and dangerous effort on which we have set out. No one can foresee precisely what course it will take or what costs or casualties will be incurred. Many months of sacrifice and self-discipline lie ahead -- months in which both our patience and our will be tested, months in which many threats and denunciations will keep us aware of our dangers.

But the greatest danger of all would be to do nothing. The path we have chosen for the present is full of hazards, as all paths are; but it is the one most consistent with our character and courage as a nation and our commitments around the galaxy . The cost of freedom is always high, but Terrans have always paid it. And one path we shall never choose, and that is the path of surrender or submission. To the people of the steppe empire and GPI’s under classes this country has no wish to cause you to suffer or to impose any system upon you. To The Steppe Empire;

It was not a threat, merely an observation, we are entitled to an opinion, view, and singular judgement are we not? After all, your nations media institutions continue on about upholding freedom and other politically fueled rantings.

A more pliant and open minded nation would have endeavoured to make amends, yours has not, instead it has continued down a single minded, narrow, heavy handed route of hostilities and aggression. We desire peace and advancement, you seem to desire neither.

Renounce your aggressive intents towards our people and reclaim your integrity.

"I am disturbed at the events of yesterday... I am truly disturbed. because I thought that I was dealing with good people that stood upright, and could acknowledge the value of a good deal. A good deal which would lead to prosperity and peace for all. Yet. I find I was not dealing with that at all, but with ferals. Mindless feral creatures only bent on taking whatever you offer and biting the hand you offered it with as well.

They demand more, and more offering and continue to threaten a bite if one is not offered. This is beyond insulting, good diplomatic officers, marine bodyguards, and assistants are now dead. Our collective hand is bleeding from this bite. Though many lesser creatures would simply skulk away and nurse their wounds, though not us! Not the descendants of the living goddess!

I have been successful in my lobbying for forces to deal with this threat and therefore openly declare war not only on the federal union but on the steppe empire as well! Both powers in this game are wrong in their bids for power. So. we will eliminate both parties in the interest of peace and justice!

I would like to take the time to address the M.R.A's comment on what makes our society evil. Our name. As of course we all know a 'blood pot' is actually not a type of sandwich made from the unique hide of feral rabbits but an actual pot filled with life liquid and we all know that a 'hand grenade' isn't still a popular rum based drink served in bars, but an actual ancient hand grenade with the pin removed for maximum effect.

So these things aren't what they sound like? Why are we what we sound like then, we are only followers of our goddess, mother Vi'al's will for all species in the multiverse. Our goddess started our initiative purely for medical reasons as shown in our current school of medicine. A school that is quite frankly the best in the explored universe. A school that produces doctors that can heal, not with complicated instruments, not with endless brutal supplies and syringes but with a touch. A simple touch. They are living instruments of healing a technique handed down from mother goddess herself.

We have eliminated many diseases that are ancient to us but very common to some races, diseases like Parkinson's, Cancer, Alzheimer's and many more that are still the scourges of medical departments even today. I would advise the M.R.A to do a modicum of research on the subject before addressing the evils of our nation directly... We harbor no hostilities towards the M.R.A if they harbor none against us. To The Realms Under The G.P.I;

The M.R.A wishes to express it's relief that the G.P.I has reacted in the manner appropriate of an interstellar nation by being, thoughtful, considerate and reasonable unlike your late aquitance the Steppe Empire. We bear you no ill, but we must press several issues which we feel will undermine your otherwise solid stance on the podium of reason.

You spoke passionatly of how one must not be judged by their title, by what they label themselves as, but rather by what they are withen their facade of an exterior that they present to the universe. You rightly said that we made the mistake of assuming many things about you based on very few details, a tragic mistake on our part which we apologise for. On the other hand though you yourself have made the same mistake with the Federal Union.

The Steppe Empire has revealed itself to be nothing more than we suspected, manipulative and domineering, relying on a show of brute force to get what they desire. Whilst we applaud your actions to deal with them we have reacted with disdain and dissapointment at your proposed invasion of the Federal Union also.

For the good of prosperity and understanding we implore you to renounce your declaration of war against the Federal Union, to take the moral course and step back, declaring instead to assess the situation based on what is inside not just the worthless facade you have been shown. Also warring against the Federal Union and Steppe Empire is a logistic impossibility, you will be overrun, and we are sure that the Steppe Empire will settle for no less then complete genocide.

The Metropolitan-Regional Association implores you to seek peace when possible, but we applaud your actions against the Steppe Empire. For the good of all we propose a cultural exchange for learning between our three nations, the M.R.A, G.P.I and F.U, so that we may learn like the wise nations we are and come to see the good in each of us. Let us step past our boundaries and embrace uncertainty for the good of learning, we hope the G.P.I as well as the Federal Union sees the worth in this preposition so that we may work towards the harmony of the greater galaxy together, forging alliances, in matters of economy and military to preserve peace and justice.
