Linking with a ship for an Abh was quite a simple matter as long as there were the appropriate froch ports so that their extra sensory organ could merge with the ship. Using frochaj allowed the Abh to sense exactly what the ship was feeling, judge distances and size in space, identify vessels, and practically everything else sensors could though in a less than picturesque manner.
Couple that ability with the Force and any Abh pilot or commander had an assertive advantage over most others. Some Force users in other nations had the ability to see the future or boost the moral of other commanders and coordinate attacks more effectively in battle.
What Darth Twilight experienced with her new ship, courtesy of Darth Atrox, was something above those other qualities. Having gone through a little reprogramming with the Shipmind, Jessyka was now able to mentally communicate with her vessel. In practice she could steer the vessel with a mere thought while aboard or from afar. Such advantages almost made the Sith Lord smile. Almost.
Her features were hidden behind the dark folds of an all enveloping cloth that covered her from head to foot. It was part of a symbolic defense against everything that surrounded the woman in the universe. She did not want anyone to look at her skin or to even touch it. All that was visible was a pair of eyes that looked out from the opening in her shawl.
As Mira had instructed her, Twilight practiced with her vessel constantly and spent time communicating with it to increase her mental strength and bonding with the ship. Twilight and the ship went through a series of intricate maneuvers and quick jumps while practicing battle tactics.
Amidst all the constant jumping around from one sector of space to the next, something touched her mind. It was a slight tremor in the Force that touched her senses. Twilight brought her Scimitar to a halt and concentrated on that particular aura. The Force was being used somewhere and powerfully so. Perhaps a little more investigation would lead her to the artifacts she had been hunting for the New Sith Order for some time now. Any addition to the library would look favorable at this moment in time.
Focusing on the source of the power, Twilight mentally directed the ship to those coordinates. Phasing out then returning to this reality of existence, Twilight was greeted by a lush jungle world that crawled with the essence of the Force teeming with so much life. Pushing all that aside with her mind, she felt the subtle fluctuation of those that were skilled with the Force and some were quite powerful. The revelation intrigued the Abh Force user as she steered her craft towards the planet's surface.
Darth Twilight had the Scimitar land a distance away from the sensed presence of other gifted users. The humidity was stifling for the usually space bound creature. Despite the heat and moisture, Twilight kept her cloak around her body as if covering her body was a protection of every haunting thought she possessed. The black cloaked figure darted off through the woods to try and discover this interesting mystery and see what might be learned from all this.
