OOC: First of all, welcome to the Nationstates forums. Second of all, there are several glaring issues about your storefront.

1) Try to avoid selling RL weaponry. Anyone can RP having said weapons so it is somewhat pointless to sell them! It also shows that you have put a great amount of time and thought into your storefront if it is primarily custom designs. I'll post a link to the NS Draftroom at the bottom of my post.

2) Check your pricing, you can buy an AK-47 for less then $200 if you know where to look. Even the M4's price rarely reaches above $1000 unless you are heavily modifying it. A price of $12,000 dollars for a PSG-1 is just ridiculous considering you can get much betters sniper rifles for a fraction of the cost.

3) If you must make an RL weapons storefront, then at least have a lot to sell. Five just doesn't cut it.

4) NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE will buy 1 Billion weapons! Even my nation, which has conscription and a massive population, has an army of only around 14 million strong (that's cumulative for all my military plus the logistical support and potential conscripts). Unless you are planning on giving every last citizen in your nation a firearm, then just don't even include that discount.

As promised, here is the link to the NS Draftroom:

OOC: What's with the hostility? It's generally considered rude when you lash out at the people who try help you. Even your IC posts are overly hostile and ludicrously short.

OOC: Anghele is an excellent business RPer, so it is somewhat understandable what his mood would be if he were turned down so brusquely.

I'm going to throw my opinion in here because i'm getting throughly annoyed.

First off, Anghele provoked him.

Secondly, yes you guys are offering "constructive criticism" but your being so pedantic that it's not hard to see why Jalanat feels as if he's not only being ganged up on but he's also being forced into a corner.

Lastly I'm going to vent my irritation here because i've been seeing this happen here ALOT. Every single time a new RPer comes into this area and actually presents themselves in a manner which isn't "Nukes For N00bs I Is Goonna nuke U all" and actually gives it a good go the first thing everyone does is hold up their work and go about lacerating it.

These people are new to this! Yes thare are "standards" but you don't throw them up against the wall and demand that they do "this that and this" immediatly or else face being ostracized. It doens't help either that their threads become filled with criticsm which is mostly negative (no i'm not directing this at you Volzgrad so you know before I loose it entirely somewhere along the next few lines) so possible RPers who show potential actually get marginalized and probably decide to never come back.

It's as if the NS forums is more like an exclusive club for the privileged, most of which think they are so good and righteous at what they do that they can shove their own styles and methods down the newcomers throats. No wonder Role Play around here is often conducted between groups who don't often interact with each other; most are to snobbish to consider role playing with an unknown quantity in the fear it might tarnish their reputation.

And no again i'm not directing this at anyone in particualr but I see this happening alot, too often unfortunatly and it's beginnign to irk me. Hell I don't know what half the people who read this will think of me or what I wrote, I may have even marginalized myself in the minds of those who are about to attack my post. But I feel this kind of thing has to be said, yes we need standards around here to have a good Role Play but you can't expect newcomers to get to grips with it immediatly, maybe it would be better if people hand held them in role play rather than fling criticism at them.

Sorry, needed to get that out my system.

True, well, from my point of view anyway. I will make this clear however, your reply to Anghele's initial response was BAD, BUT that being said, Anghele should have taken into account that you are (let's be blunt) a newb, perhaps a more experienced role player such as him should have been somewhat more tolerant and patient however.

OOC:
Well said USU.

Jalanat: its a nice first attempt at a storfront, not too complex. it could use a little refinement but as you said its a WiP. Should you want or desire any assistance please feel to ask.

One thing I would say is that if you don't want Anghele posting in your forum and you don't wan tto Rp a war with him then you simply don't have to, the whole point of RP on NS is that it has to be mutually concensual.

Volzgrad: The prices aren't too far off the mark for low production runs (and more or less bang on the PSG-1 it is a ludircrously expensive rifle simply because no .30 cal semo auto rifle was even close to it at its time of introduction).

OOC: well i must admit it was rather short since i really did not have a "Super awesome" role playing story to put with it. i mean how could i expect someone immediately wants to buy it from me if i only just started the storefront.
