Our Worst Nightmare (Open, MT)

Ursava

First Lieutenant Kevin Buday - Commanding Officer

The nation of Ursava, like any other modern country, had a force within its government that was dedicated to the process of predicting, managing, and getting rid of national threats. Of course, the UIW (Ursavian Intelligence Wing) did more than just this one task: they bore the word 'intelligence' in their title and thus were expected to have some form of knowledge on the problem(s). That was the job of the Black Guard intelligence officers in a massive bunker located at an unknown area in the northern mountains. They were to deal with any radio reports, monitor the news stations, and make sure that nothing too problematic was going on that couldn't be effortlessly solved by the bureaucrats throwing obscene amounts of either A: money, or B: firepower via police teams. That was why First Lieutenant Kevin Buday, leader of the massive bunker (which was only manned by less than half of what it could support) was sitting on a rather uncomfortable leather couch in front of one of the four T.Vs throughout the bunker, watching the UNN. It was the usual things, so-and-so got caught after a high-speed pursuit while some nobody-banker was suing some other nobody-banker: depressing stuff at it's worse...until the red cone lights strategically positioned in at least one corner of every room and at least one a hall or ladder-way started going off along with an annoying BREEE-BREEE-BREEE!!! The alarm to head to the main conferance room had sounded. Kevin promptly clicked off the T.V and bolted for the nearest stair-well or ladder to get to the basement of the concrete maze.

----------------------------------------

Okay, this is a non-cannon RP taking place solely within the confines of this bunker. The plot is that the Black Guard intelligence operatives within the bunker are notified of one of their worst nightmares: a terrorist attack of devestating proportions involving sarin nerve gase which is beginning to spread across the entire country. Unfortunately that is not their primary concern, with how fast it's approaching it will be impossible for them to do anything until some outside force gets to work: they're stuck. Now they need to deal with being trapped with the same people for days on end. Anyways, your characters, though I hate to impose, have to be Ursavian (preferably by birth, for this use THIS (http://www.fakenamegenerator.com/) generator on the 'Hungarian' name setting). Gender doesn't matter and the role still needed :

Assisting Science Officer (Preferably an NCO)

Positions are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

For ranks use THIS (http://www.military-quotes.com/ranks/marine-rank-insignia.htm) page of ranks. Also, I would like the first post being what you were doing up until the sirens started to go off.

Hope you guys join.

OOC: Bardar, that is find, natural-born Ursavian is only preferable: not required. Also, Zainzibar, the Base Weapons Cheif got the job when he arrived at the bunker/base. You could just say that he ran a few armories in other bases before being shifted over. Besides that, go ahead and make a post of what you were doing up until the siren sounded.

OOC: Ursavian Naval Marines? Nice, those guys are the special-forces of the special-forces: so to speak. Also, weapons don't need to be listed. Anyways, you wouldn't need to join the military to gain citizenship but it is granted if you do so. Alright, now somebody please make an actual IC post of what you were doing a few minutes before the alarm went off, or something similar.

OOC; Could my character be the security officer, kind of the Chief MP on the base??

Security Officer;
Sergeant Redesh Hashul
Occupation; Soldier, all he has ever known
Age: 29
Weight; 90kg
Height; 1,9 meters
Eye and haircolor; dark
skincolor; slightly darker than the normal Ursavan.
Body; Muscular
Bio; Joined the Ursavan military when he was 16 years-old. His parents were migrants from Bardar, but Redesh was born in Ursava. His Bardarian look has always caused Ursavans to distrust him. However Redesh Hashul has several times showed he is a competent officer, and has advanced through the military police to the position as Security Officer in the bunker. That position means he is the one keeping an eye of the others, so to speak, which has caused many of the personnel to fear him.

OOC: What's with all the initial distrust between citizens and characters? I wanted you guys to preferablly be natural-born Ursavians because you're members of an orginization which doesn't even supposedly exist since Odon Pete (the former ruler of my country) was thrown out of power. Also, I hate to tell you but you have to be one of the two roles left over, everybody in the bunker would have gone through enough training in espionage and hundreds of other things to all be security officers. Other than that: change the role (and the last part of the bio to match it) and make the post.

Primary Science Officer
Seregeant Major Redesh Hashul
Occupation; Soldier, all he has known, is seen as an expert in biological warfare
Age: 29
Weight: 90kg
Height: 1,9 metres
Eye and haircolor; dark
Skincolor; slightly darker than the normal Ursavan
Body: Muscular
Bio; Joined the Ursavan military when he was 16 years-old. His parents were immigrants from Bardar, but Redesh was born in Ursava. During the the Odon Pete era he worked on several secret projects which eventually lead him to the Black Guards, and was promoted to the position of Primary Science Officer shortly after the fall of Odon Pete, since his predecessor was arrested for treason.

OOC: Sorry I meant he ran an armory in a base
IC:
György had been sitting in his designated room smoking a cigar, and reflecting on the past. He came to the realization that he hadn't spoken to his parents in years, 20 to be exact. He remembered the day he left home to join the military and seek adventure, when he was 18, and only returned once. He returned after seven years of service to visit them again, and found their cold judgemental stares. They had been angry that he had left suddenly, without a single goodbye or thought of staying. He could not face them and fled. They sent letters begging him to return, but he never did, and soon they stopped coming. On this reflection, he realised he missed the farm life, the fields he played in as a child, the smelly animals he mocked, the old barn he slept in to scare himself, but most of all he missed them. Now all he wanted to do was escape these steel walls and see if they were still okay, to embrace them and apologise for his absence. That was when the alert sounded.

OOC: Primary Science officer doesn't mean for all of the Black Guard, but outside of that everybody can feel free to post.

Redesh Hashul was going through a pile of reports. Since he got this position in the bunker his job had consisted mostly of going through records. He sometimes missed his old jobs, but the lab experiments had become useless when the government legislated a ban on experiments on political prisoners, which was a shame, Redesh had had dozens of viruses he'd wanted to try out. Now he was promoted to paperworks, and it was darned boring. Then the alarm went of.
