Present Day

Rathma started to sweat as he fought himself and attempted to wake himself from a nightare he was suffering from. He clenched his fists tightly as he suddenly sat up and awoke from his nightmare. Sweat flowed down his face gently as he started to breath lightly. He wipe his face with his hand and cupped his face while he tried to get over from the shock. He gasp gently and tried to calm himself down as best he could while he climbed out of bed. Thankfully, his wife Joanna wasn't awoken by the sudden waking her husband made when he awoke from his nightmare.

Joanna was the innocent victim of his nightmares and of his past which he wondered if he ever made the right choice. He calmly ventured through the hallways of his estate and eventually found the verandah out the back of his home. He slid the sliding door open gently and closed it again before sitting down on one of the nearby seats.

'All those years ago,' thought Rathma to himself as he felt the cool breeze air flow over his face. 'People said it couldn't be done but look at it. Union, the most successful colony in the entire Vamperial Kingdom and I started it with Joanna,' thought Rathma as he checked his cybernetic parts before taking a deep breath.

Union was the most innocent colony the Vamperial Kingdom but it was also the embrassement of the Vamperial Kingdom. The northern provience was of economic value since it supplied the entire kingdom with oil, gas and natural resources. It also had one of the major supply ports which supplied the other colonies and the Home Islands.

However, the southern provience was a major corrupted state. The state government exist only in Uni'omav and even there it had limited power, The Black Maifia was in full control of much of the rural towns and some port locations, drug trade was fairly opened and to make matters interesting, there were rumours a militia force was being formed.

Rathma was sitting in Joans Cafe reading the newspaper and sipping his coffee. The busy city life kept going even though many of the civilian population feared the Black Maifia. It didn't bothered Rathma at all. He was a retired Lynion Assassin after he felt he was betrayed by Vamperial Grand Headmaster Vamp* somewhere in Ustio North. This gave him some freedoms since after hearing the rumours, he might be confronted by the Maifia or whoever was building up the militia force to be contracted as a leader or trainer for their forces. He didn't have to wait long either when he spotted two well dressed men alongside what could be thugs.

"Ahh, you must be Rathma Phoenix," started the man on the left as the sight of a few well armed SUV's started to partol around the cafe. "I've heard you have some excellent talent," he added as he sat down next too Rathma.

"And I didn't say you could join me either," replied Rathma coldly as he lowered his newspaper.

"I don't think you understand what we're part of?" stated one of the thugs as he reached for something under his jacket.

"Your part of Black Daniel's Maifia Operation and your putting forward demands unaware of who your dealing with," replied Rathma as the thug came closer towards him. He glanced around for a moment as he noticed a number of civilians started to leave the area to avoid being bugged by the Maifia.

"Then you understand that..." the man started before being interuppted. The thug had drawn out his hand into the form of a pistol and pretended to shoot Rathma with it. Rathma simply looked up at the thug and drew up a plan in his mind to draw out their leader.

"I'll take you up on your offer," Rathma replied to the thug.

Without blinking an eye, Rathma moved quickly and caught the thug off balance. He quickly broke the thug's left hand and punched in the guts to catch him further off guard. The other thug attempted to intervine but was met with one of Rathma's cyberntic fists which smashed into the side of his skull causing him to fall to the ground. Rathma then turned to the first one and pulled him up and searched the thugs jacket. His hand moved swiftly as the thug had blood streaming across his face and a black eye from the fight but things suddenly changed. Rathma pulled the 9mm Semi-Automatic pistol out of the holister and pointed it directly at the other well dressed business like man who didn't talk.

"Now we can really talk," Rathma stated as an SUV stopped out the front of the cafe as a group of men armed with Uzi's aimed their weapons at Rathma. "Right...Black Daniel," smiled Rathma. The man looked at the armed thugs and ordered them to lower their Uzi's as he stepped forward and removed his shades.

"You always had the look for fine details," Black Daniel replied in an Irish accent with a smile as Rathma started to smile.

"Come here you lump of Irish," smiled Rathma as the two treated each other like best friends and hugged.

"It's being too long brother and I was hoping we can discuss a few details," replied Black Daniels as Rathma left 5 Lymax's on his table and followed Black Daniel's up the walk way. "I heard what had happened with you and the Vamperial Order and I was praying we could do a 'few' things together,"

"By a 'few' you mean, changing the course of the current government aye?" replied Rathma. "If we're going to do that, then I suggest we get better equipment for your boys to fight with. Having an Uzi won't get you far against their assault rifles,"

"I know that much," replied Black Daniel as he caught Rathma off balance by his reply. "I need you to help my boys take part in a... 'return a product to us' sort of thing. We have a tip off that a cargo ship containing weaponary and supplies is headed for the Northern Provience of Union soon. I want you to make it land in the Southern Port which is one of our few ports we control, this one. Would you help my boys?"

"I'll remove the security detail aboard and turn the ship around Daniel," replied Rathma as he accepted the job.

"Excellent, then I suggest you start for the harbour and meet up with my boys. They may not be much, but they have their hearts set in the right place," Black Daniel's concluded. "Take one of the SUV's and head to the harbour. When you sail the ship back to port, meet we at my estate and we'll discuss further business there," concluded Black Daniels as Rathma nodded his head and climbed into a waiting SUV.

OOC:

* Vamp had the rank of Vamperial Grand Headmaster and he is currently stationed in a conflict far from Lynion. Nobody know's (Except Rathma) he is the true High King of the Vamperial Kingdom.

Notes:

I've decided to do a a past conflict that affected my nation that it changed alot of things. This means that certian characters in the story can't be killed but I'll name them in this post. This doesn't mean you can injury them, you just can't kill them. However, there are certain key characters you can elimate such as Police Chief Watson and several key officals and high ranking officers which will make a mention as the story goes along.

People can take part as a civilian, thug, drug smuggler, Maifia Member, part of the team that boards the freighter, The Militia (after the freighter has being hijacked) and eventually (when I introduce them), you can take part in the Northern Provience Police Force Unit. If you have a suggestion for a character, please inform me but officals and military officers can't be controlled by anyone but me.

I will state here and now that invasions are a no go zone since this is a character RP. I would also state now that the militia is controled by Black Daniel's and you can be part of the militia once the freighter has being taken by Rathma and his boys.

If anybody wants to suggest something, please TG me. Just remember, you can be part of the Maifia, the Militia, the Union Police Force (in the north) or you can be a civilian and seeing things from your point of view.

I would also like to note that this is a CHARACTER RP.

Rathma Phoenix was considered one of the best assassin out of the entire Black Assassin Regiement. He has a vast number of skills that kept him alive during his tours which he now converted into hi-jacking a cargo ship. This was going to be risky for him since he didn't know what was going to happen. Nevertheless, he was going to arm these people and then find a nice quiet spot and be at peace with himself. Could it be anymore simpler? Then again, if everything was simple, why was there still chaos in Southern Union?

The cargo ship he was about to hi-jack with some of Daniel's thugs was the SS Rictor. It was a powerful cargo ship capable of out-running any ship Black Daniels had or so they thought. Being able to board the ship was going to be a challenge until it dawned on him about how he was going to do it. Risking the enitre mission on a single bluff, Rathma was sure that the sailor's would go by protocol and by protocol, they had to allow Custom Officers to board them and to check their bookings. For the bluff to work, Rathma was going to borrow one of the Custom Black Hawk Helicopters and land on the deck. That meant finding a pilot who was game enough to pull off the stunt. Nevertheless, the cargo ship was going to be transporting Styer's, XM8 assault rifles and rocket luanchers since they were re-supplying the military bases to the north.

William Jameson was waiting for his chance to take part in an operation. He hefted an MP-5K SMG in his surplus store M98 camo BDUs (OOC: http://camo.henrikc.dk/details.asp?autono=67 ), and perched himself on one of the walls of the assembly room.

In the room with William were four of his friends that he had known since childhood. They all had the same kind of BDUs that they had pooled their money to obtain from a surplus store, and they had obtained MP-5Ks from the bodies of dead police officers; which was not an uncommon sight these days.

William's mother had warned him not to join the militia, but when he had heard that his friends had done so, he simply couldn't resist. With the lack of any means of holding South Union together, someone had to do so, and William felt that doing so was as noble as any other possible calling in life could be. William was willing to fight and die for this land; and even if he died protecting it, he would take some of the enemy down with him.

First however, William and his friends would have to face whatever form of training that they used in the militia, and earn the trust of their commanders. This was why they were waiting in this staging area, waiting to ask for permission to actually do something more than simply waiting. They wanted to fight, and with the enthusiasm of youth, they had tracked down one of the militia's officers, and were waiting for him to walk back out of the restroom.

Rathma walked towards where the staging area was setup as he watched the Northern Union Blackhawk land on the helipad nearby. The plan was in montion as the pilot powered down the rotor's and climbed out to greet Rathma with a shaking of the hands. They greeted each other as he handed Rathma a Styer and a few magazines before pointing to a group of militiamen near the restroom awaiting for the officer that went in there. Rathma wandered over as the officer came out of the restroom.

"You must be Harvey right?" Rathma started as Harvey turned to face Rathma.

"I'm the pilot for the cargo ship for this operation," replied Havery. "Yes, I'm Harvey and you must be the commander of this operation,"

"They must be the extra hands Black Daniel sent you," the Blackhawk pilot pointed out as Rathma turned to the other five.

"They are indeed," replied Rathma. "If anybody doesn't want to be here, go on home. I don't take kid's with me," started Rathma as his ruthlessness was showing through his words. "We'll be hi-jacking a cargo ship transporting arms to re-supply the northern armies. It'll be distancing itself from a convoy of warships soon and we'll have to move quick. Davis will be flying the Blackhawk to the cargo ship and we'll be taken as Custom Officers. Three of you will go to the radio room and secure it. Remaining group will head to the bridge and escort Harvey. Harvey is going to pilot the cargo ship to a Black Daniel's controlled port. Weapons are free and hot once both sectors are secured. Expect a security detachment but I doubt there'll be one onboard the cargo ship but don't presume there won't be one," concluded Rathma. "Any questions?"

(OOC: Been busy, or i'd have replied sooner)

"I speak for everyone here when I say that we have no questions, sir; and that if we didn't think that we could complete the mission, that we wouldn't be here."

William was ready for the mission, and the others formed up into a line, the better to await orders from their new commander. They knew next to nothing about him, but their superiors had said that they would follow this man if they knew what was good for them. So follow him they would, even at the cost of their own lives.

They didn't fear the price of failure as much as they feared not measuring up to their own standards. While they were not seasoned combat soldiers, they would soon start to see what they were made of.

There was no reply from Rathma Phoenix as he boarded the Blackhawk alongside with the others of the group. He quietly sat down against the side of the Blackhawk as it took off and headed towards their distination. The ride was rather quiet even though there was still the plan to consider. Rathma took a swig from his container and looked up as he noticed the uniform of the Vamperial Order hanging on a nearby rack. He started to stare at the uniform and began to remember the times he was a Black Ops Assassin. He looked down on his ruggered clothes before taking another swig of of his bottle before getting up from his position.

"It'll look good on you," stated the pilot for the cargo ship as they came closer towards it. "Besides, you'll need something to convince the guys on the ship,"

Rathma made a face at the uniform before removing his old rags. His back was completely exposed as it showed cybernetic implants across his upper back and what seemed to be blades of some kind lashing across his back. There was still the odd trickle of blood coming down his back which exposed recent lashes against him. Nevertheless, old battle wounds were the thing of the old as Rathma put on the shirt and the cloak that once represented the Vamperial Order. He brushed it a couple of times before he looked up.

"Does it look any good Harvey?" Rathma asked.

"Hell, that's the uniform of a Vamperial Headmaster," pointed out Harvey as Rathma noticed the Coat of Arms on his shoulders. "What were you before you left?"

"I was a Captain taking on the role of Vamperial Master," replied Rathma as he checked his rifle as the Blackhawk started to make its run over the cargo ship. "Vamp offered me the rank of Headmaster before I left but I could never get use to a desk job,"

"Seems like you did get the job," smiled Harvey as Rathma realised he meant the uniform.

Rathma didn't smile as the Blackhawk made a last run over the cargo ship as he turned to the others that were with him. Its being a while since he seen rookies in his ranks. Then again, everyone started somewhere and even he was a rookie. The Blackhawk landed swiftly and the men climbed out. Before they could say anything, a number of crew members came over to them, one of them an officer, was more interested in Rathma. Rathma glanced about for a moment as the officer saluted him.

"Sir you must be the security detachment sent to protect us," started the officer as he appeared nervous. "We haven't seen any naval forces and we're worried we're about to be hijacked. Southern Union is a riot zone,"

"We're the security detachment sent to help you," replied Rathma as he glanced at the bridge before going back to the officer and then to his men. "Alright four of you head down into the hold, secure and check on the goods. Williams and Harvey are with me. We'll head to the bridge and check on things,"

"What do we do if we come across any pests that come in our way?" Harvey asked as Rathma picked up what he meant.

"Weapons are hot. Your orders are shoot to kill. I want to keep this cargo ship clean got it?" concluded Rathma.
