President Liszeo settled back in his chair, deep in thought. The nation was divided in two over the nazi rally supposed to happen in city square today. On one half were people who thought that Nazis were too evil, and we should go against the constitution to stop that evil, and the other half, although most of them disgusted by the rally, said that the constitution allowed them to rally. The only time the nation had been divided was when the civil war had happened. "Purple Haze, come over me." Liszeo picked up his phone. "yes?"
It was the secretary of defense. "Mr. President, we have an issue."

Independence Square, downtown Egaigus

The Nazi party marched through the square. The parade had been going untouched through two miles, but that wouldn't last. The Nazis reached the park to a thundering booing. People in dark coats and pants moved up to the guard rail the police had placed. In a second there was a flash and screaming as a gun went off. All of the people in dark coats had begun firing on the Nazis, killing about 60 in their first clip. SWAT teams quickly moved in from down the road, cornering the members of the People's Liberation Front in Albundania (PLFA) in a two story building. That fire fight would last another hour before the PLFA inside surrendered. However this was just the beginning.

Albundun City Hall

The city hall was a building designed just like the white house. Johnny Ulrich was one of the security guards outside the building that afternoon. While he was about to switch posts, he saw a group of suspicious looking people walking up dressed in all black. He walked up to one of them and said "hey, sto..." he never finished that sentence, as he had been shot three times in the guts and once in the neck. The PLFA group rushed into the capital building, killing everyone one inside, and taking VP Ryan Freeman captive. All over the city the PLFA were striking the government where it hurt, including the power plant which they took, the police HQ they blew up, and several other government buildings. They also had the support of the 41st and 967th infantry divisions. Within 4 hours, the city was officially declared the territory of the PLFA.

The Capital Building

"so your saying we've lost all contact with Albundun and the terrorists are trying to get into the city hall of Euphene right now?"
"yes sir," responded the Secretary of Defense. "mobilize all divisions. Inform the black markets that they are not allowed to deal with these radicals, or we will storm their market.

OOC: His country doesn't necessarily have to number its divisions in a sequential fashion. For example, the United States maintains the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions, yet they do not have 81st or 99th Divisions presently. Perhaps he RPs his country as having split from a larger one, with military forces that retained their original designations.

Damn! Get the HAWK teams ready. First priority is getting Ryan out of there. Our nation needs a VP. Also have the 2nd armored and 56th infantry ready to take the city back, if only as a diversion." There was a pause on the other end of the line. "sir, the 2nd armored is on their side now. They joined when the 8th and 102nd did." Kyle Took this in. "Get the HAWK teams moving on the double. And get me some intel on these guys. I wanna know what they have, and who's in charge of them. This isn't gonna be a walk in the park general."

The Special Forces (the organization is called P.H.A.L.A.N.X. while these individuals are the highest rank, SPARTANS) can handle just about any kind of mission. Just ask us, and if they can do it, we'll order them to do it.

The plane carrying the SPARTANS was finally nearing Albundania. The sent a transmission requesting to land.

"Attention, this is Gordonopian flight 1650, we are requesting clearance to land."

The men began preparing their weapons and gear for the fight that could possibly come soon.

Johnson Sea Base

Lt. Commander Cole looked at the sign which declared "you are entering the city limits of Johnson Sea Base." So far the 2nd armored hadn't encountered any enemy resistance from the government troops. Then they heard the roar of jets. "please don't tell me..."

A-10 squad approaching the 2nd Armored

"Arm your Mavericks boys, were getting close to the hostile tanks." The A-10s approached the enemy tank column. "open Fire!" The missiles ripped through the sky, and several tanks went up in flames as the missiles impacted. The 3 A-10s then swooped down with their Gatling guns and finished off most of the tanks. The destruction was obvious as the A-10s flew back to base, 16 of the 20 T-90 tanks in that column were destroyed, but the commander's tank remained.

On the ground

"Holy Shit." was all the CO managed to get off as the missiles swarmed down on his column. About 8 by his count went up in flames, but then the planes swarmed down and hit the rest of his tanks with Gatling guns, destroying most of the tanks in the column, and damaging the rest beyond use. He was lucky enough to only have his treads blown to high hell. "get a radio, call HQ. Tell them we need to achieve air superiority to go ahead with this plan."

"Gordonopian flight 1650, you have permission to land at Egaigus military airbase. Be careful for Should Based SAMs."

The plane landed at the airbase a few minutes later. The SPARTANS exited, and their commander asked to see the commanding officer.

Iron Harbor Naval Base, Gordonopia

The 8th division had been sent to the base where they would board the transports that would bring them to Albundania. The base was a flurry of activity with thousands of men collecting their gear and boarding their vessels. They would soon arrive at their destination and join the fight against communism.

Official Response of the Fascist Federation of the Grand World Order

The Communists of Albundia have declared war on Fascism, and the Order itself. We will be deploying forces to protect the Fascists of Albundia and make sure they are never confronted by the putrid Left Wing of Albundia again. The full force of the Federal Military will be used in this effort, and not a single Communist group in Albundia will dare to harm the Right Wing again.

Within hours of arriving, the division was already leaving the harbor. It would be awhile until they reached their destination, but they were already anticipating the conflict to come.

The Central Building

Kyle was pacing wondering how it had all gone wrong when he heard screaming outside. He walked over to his window, "oh shit." at that moment a rocket slammed into the window two floors above him. "EVERYONE OUT!" screamed a HAWK who was on guard. there was the crack of a sniper and the rocket soldier went down but then a mob of about 2,000 came marching down the street, armed with various black market weapons. The HAWKS got into position to defend the building and get Liszeo out, when the helicopter coming in to evac got into view. Then a rocket popped upwards from the crowd hitting the helicopter square in the cockpit. The helicopter crashed into the streets somewhere. "This is HAWK 13, we need Marine support ASAP! We're surrounded by PLFA militia! Again, need support!

598th Marine Camp

"Sir!" the colonel in charge looked up. "yes private.
Sir, the damned communists have surrounded Liszeo and the capital building. They have shoulder based SAMs, they need infantry support ASAP!
Mother ******!!!" He slammed down his water. "get the order out to the Marine camps down the ridge, we're moving into the capital. They took the bait, but they brought in some heavier stuff than expected!"

PLFA HQ, somewhere in the jungle

Derrick Williams, looked up at the radio man running towards him. "news?" he asked. "We're surrounding the Capital building. The Raptors are flying towards the palace now, to intercept the A-10s they send in, as you ordered.
Good, now how about the harbor front?
They got stopped cold by Government air support. They can't move until we get some airplanes over there to stop the A-10s.
Call Jensen. I'm sure his black market can prove useful again.

We have seen, through satellite images, a building being surrounded by the communists. We are willing to send the SPARTANS already there to help whoever you have in the building.

The SPARTANS would be a definite help. According to reports from our HAWK team there Liszeo is in that building, so blowing the area to bits is not an option. What would help is if you could take out some SAM sites in the nearby area, so we can attempt to fly another helicopter in. Our HAWK teams will concentrate on holding the palace until then.

Palace Grounds

Another explosion ripped through the air. " they still have a working SAM," reported Davis, the teams 2nd in command after Wilson left. "How many have we lost?" he asked. Lemanski thought for a second. "Lemme see... one, no wait. I think we lost 3. No 4, final answer.
Damn snipers." As if cued a bullet ripped through the window near them, just missing Lemanski. "The Marines are on their way." Lemanski said. "how many are they bringing? Apparently, about 5,000.
Jesus." They heard a shout and ran to the front gate. The PLFA had broken down the gate. "Open fire!"

The SPARTANS marched out of the camp straight to the SAM battery they were targeting. They knew it would be an uphill battle, and they were on high alert.
They were heading out to assist their ally so that a helicopter could get in and relieve the men already their.

Palace gate

Lemanski looked around the corner to see where everyone was, and saw they were falling back. his military instinct kicked in, and he said "HQ, we need a chopper, NOW!" Lemanski sprinted with the rest of the team over to Liszeo and had pulled him into his helicopter when the first shell hit. "dammit the PLFA are shelling us! damn them all!" Lemanski looked up, the last thing he would remember doing that day. A shell hit several feet away.

Liszeo had gotten in a helicopter.

The helicopter took off and flew away, to their surprise they weren't hit by AA. The helicopter would fly back to Liszeograd, the new temporary capital of Albundania. However the Marines would still have to fight for control of the capital.

OOC: A National Socialist uprising? Are outside nations supposed to know of this so I can support it?

OOC: If you would like to support them go ahead. Also I'm going to sleep. School tomorrow, 1:15 probably not a good time to stay up till.

The opening death blows wouldn' even come from the naval force and landing force. 40 B-1 Lancers, gifts from the Grand World order, each took off carrying 81 Mk 82 bombs each. Supporting them in a second strike would be 25 B-52Hs, each carrying 28 Mk 82 bombs each. The B-1s would target infantry installations all across Albundania, while the B-52s would focus their effort on destroying airfields and airbases in Albundania.

Right." The CO got on his radio and ordered every tank group back to a safe distance. "It'll be nice to have some serious air support." mentioned the CO.

Egaigus

PLFA rebels rushed into the rubble capital building to find no one there. just then the 65th Marines arrived on the other side of the courtyard. Sgt. Hoffman, a squad leader in the 65th, just stopped at the sight of the blown up capital building. Then the rebels opened up on them, killing Hoffman with a shot in the neck. "this is Colonel Regius, we need air support Pronto!"

The SPARTANS stormed out of a group of trees and immediately began firing at the guards of the SAM battery. Their surprise attack caught them off guard and they were quickly neutralized. Within minutes, they had taken the SAM battery and had set up a perimeter. They then proceeded to send a message over an encrypted channel saying that their mission was accomplished.

"Attention, this is the 2nd SPARTAN company. Our mission is accomplished, over."

Nearing the Coast of Albandania

The B-1 bombers heard their targets, which consisted of airbases across the country. The B-52s would be targeting infantry bases, while the navy would target both.

Near Baja California, Pacific Ocean

The Pacific Fleet's Task Force had just slipped out of its home in the Gulf of California, and began to proceed towards Albandania. The navy's ultimate goal was to destroy what remained of Albandania's ground and air forces after the intensive bombing conducted by B-1s and B-52s, and then they would deal with whatever navy Albandania had. After that, the coasts would be bombarded, and forces would land to help the National Socialists seize power in Albandania.

The Rapid Response Unit advanced quickly towards the capital building. Resistance by rebels was fierce, but the Comorostani troops were battle-hardened and they were able to deal with it quickly. However, rebel AT weapons took their toll.

Nearing Albandanian Waters

East Congaree would not respond to any questions from Albandania or their allied powers as they approached the coast. East Congaree hadn't informed any of the nations of their arrival, so that enough should have been able to solidify the belief that East Congaree was supporting the rebels. Furthermore, East Congaree was a Conservative Nationalist nation, and it would seem obvious that they would prefer a National Socialist government in power in Albandania.

"Sir, they still haven't responded."
"Then they must be supporting the rebels. Look at the facts, they haven't responded, no one else told us they were here, and even look at their government. We need to stay away. Launch the transports now so they can be already on shore if we have to leave."
"Yes sir."

The first wave of small transports left the large ships, taking their human cargo to the beaches. These men were there to help the Albundanians fight off their rebels, and that's what they were going to do.

An hour after the first wave launched, the second, final wave was arriving at the shoreline. The first wave had taken out the few hostiles that had been patroling the beach, so there was no resistance.
The division's commander then proceded to let the Albundanian government know they had arrived, then left the beach.

They were headed to a large plain that scouts had found that they were going to create a base at. It had a large view, and it would be easy to resupply.

IC-About 6 miles from the capital building, the advance stalled. Rebel soldiers managed to halt the advance guard, and soon the entire Rapid Response Unit was involved in the fighting.

OOC-I never said anything about your aircraft. my forces are only engaging the rebels in the capital. also, i share a border with albundania, so i was able to move in quickly

IC-Comorostani L-39ZO Albatross attack aircraft begin taking off to support the Rapid Response Unit. 4 Albatrosses lift off from Forward Base Alpha, then head at full speed towards the capital.

The field had been quickly transformed into a base. Barbed wire had been set up and tents were popping up everywhere. The engineers were even beginning to dig trenches.

An outpost that had been constructed had been attacked, but quickly repulsed the attackers. Although it was only a small skirmish, it proved that the rebels had a presence in the area.

"Prime Minister. The 8th has arrived in Albundania, and has set up a base."
"That's good news."
"Yes. But I also have very bad news."
"What is it?"
"East Congaree is supporting the National socialist rebels."
"That is bad news. But what are we supposed to do, they are twice our size, and none of our permanent allies are in any condition to fight. Aglorea is under a dicatator, and Johninja is to tiny. We're going to have to continue what we are doing, and hope it doesn't take a turn for the worst."
"So we're going to let them support the enemy?"
"I'm afraid we have no choice."
"Shouldn't we send more men, to ensure our side wins?"
"And anger their side more?"
"You're right sir."
"Oh, and send a telegram to our allies informing them that East Congaree is indeed against us."
"It shall be done."

In the three way conflict currently happening in the nation of Albundania, we have discovered a disturbing fact. The nation of East Congaree is supporting the National Socialist Rebels. We discovered this when our fleet attempted to hail them, and was rejected. We hope that in time, more forceful actions can be taken about this. For now, however, we are not prepared to go to war with a nation twice our size.

OOC: Comrosotan, didn't realize those were losses from rebels. Gotcha. Also, these are NOT communist rebels, I am supporting National Socialists. I would never support communist rebels, as i'm fascist and they're a menace in my nation.

13th Bomber Wing

"This is HQ, 13th do you read us?" the radio cackled. "yes sir. Do we have a green light yet?" A pause. "Yes, the SAM is down. Leave nothing left at your target. That is the Rebel HQ in the city." The bombers altered course and headed to their target. "Alright 13th, we're approaching the bombing zone." The group got closer, and emptied their bombing bays over the target.

Palace Grounds

The square had been cleared by a one-two punch by the Albundania Marines and the Comorostani SWORD teams. Hanson looked up and thought to himself. So many bodys, so many friends. his thoughts were then interrupted by a huge boom, and he looked up. A giant flame had shot up further downtown. "Holy shit, they just bombed the downtown. Holy shit, the civilians aren't out of there yet..." the radio came to life with chatter asking what the hell had just happened. The response finally came. " We just carpet bombed the PLFA operational HQ in Egaigus, All units advance into downtown while they're disoriented. The Marines began the long march into downtown. What they didn't know, was that around 8000 rebels remained garrisoned in buildings, ready to fight to the death for "freedom"

As you know, our 8th division has arrived at your nation and has created a strong defensive stance. We are preparing for operation beaver trap. Nearing Albundanian Waters

We in the United States believe that Cukarica's policy of 'peacekeeping' is theoretically untenable and practically counterproductive. 'Peacekeeping' is tenable in situations of tribal warfare where all sides are morally equivalent. Here you have a civilian government, a bunch of Nazis (!), and some communists fighting between each other. To claim the Communist forces are morally the equivalent of the current government is morally and practically misguided. All you may accomplish is allow both sides time to recover and renew their violence on an unprecedented scale.

As such, we in the United States believe that you have two moral choices. Either support the current, pro-democracy government, or get the hell out. Unlike you, we also have sufficient firepower to enforce our opinion.

To assist in the fight against Nazism and Communism in Albundania, President John Henry Eden will deploy 2 more combat leigons and a highly trained Counter Insurgency Batalion to Albundania.

With the bombing of the rebel HQ, the advance of the Rapid Response Unit picked up. Although the rebels still resisted, most of their effort was concentrated on the Marines. And the air support from the L-39ZOs helped. In under an hour, the Comorostanis were almost within visual range of the capital building.

The approach of the East Congaree fleet put the Comorostani task force in a quandary. They were unprepared to take on a major power, but had a duty to Albundania. The commander of the task force made the decision to wait and see for now, but ordered the VSTOL carrier Tiger to prepare their aircraft for launch, and made sure his Sea Lance anti-ship missiles and Starstreak SAMs were armed and ready

The task force went on high alert. Air patrols were begun, and all ships were at combat readiness.

With one final wave of airstrikes, the Rapid Response Unit reached the capital building. The remainder of the Unit set up defensive positions as additional Spartan APCs and Samaritan ambulances moved to evacuate the surviving occupants.

The 8th division's strategy was working. They had lured nearly a thousand rebels to their base already, and had almost cleared the area.

Egagius Airport

It was likely that the Albundanians had never seen troops like this. As the massive cargo planes rolled down the runways, massive, open-top trucks began to emerge. There were no tanks, no armor, no artillery – but there were troops, armed with an impressive array of small arms. But it was not that which would surprise the locals.

The troops' uniforms, their trucks, everything they carried on them was not camouflaged at all. Rather, every bit of their uniforms and vehicles was colored crimson-red – quite like the Communist flag. Except the meaning was different. For these were not true military troops, but members of a volunteer organization – the military wing of the Cult of Asukhon, the Eightfold Victor. The slogans painted upon their trucks and jeeps bore witness to their beliefs.

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GODDESS

Such were the markings of the first truck, open-topped, filled with young-looking, cheerful cultists, with shining bayonets attached to their rifles. It seemed every bayonet was at least a foot long. They waved to the Albundanians troops as they passed, revealing the lettering on the side of th bright-red vehicle.

SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE

Some of the Albundaeans shuddered, no doubt, as Asukhon's faithful passed through their airfield, heading out into the jungle. These were the sort of people to fear, cheering and singing as they drove away into battle.

Battalion after battalion, platoon after platoon, the red-suited men and women began to disappear from the airfield. They did not explain their goals or movements to the Albundaeans – fearing that Communist spies had already infiltrated the airfield staff. Thus, the only way to track them was to follow the reports that no doubt would spread of the insane, red-suited army. Obviously, from these red suits, the enemy would assume them completely incompetent. And the enemy would be wrong.

Several days later, Communist outpost in the jungle

Commander Harrison surveilled the Communist outpost. Three hundred people in a secret jungle camp, storing weapons and ammunition for the PLFA. Three hundred people, surrounded by barbed wire, living in camouflaged dugouts, suffering for their so-called 'revolution'. Three hundred people who were all about to die.
The Asukhon cultists had done it simply. They removed their bright-red parade uniforms, changing into simple greens, and disappeared into the jungle, creeping up to the very outposts. They knew that they would have the advantage of surprise – but they also liked to have the advantage of numbers. Split up into small groups, they converged slowly on the outpost over the course of several days – now they massed three men over every Communist in the camp. The enemy was looking for insane, red-suited troops – not jungle combatants.

Of course, there was a team of red-suited troops, too - about fifty troops in red suits, chosen to attack as a distraction. Even now, they were appearing on the road leading to the garrison...

Commander Harrison shuddered as he saw the trucks and the jeep approach the garrison doors at full speed. This was suicide – and within a few seconds, he would see these people hit the very front gate and suffer the full brunt of the Communist garrison – only so that they distracted themselves a bit from the fences...

“Alert! Alert! “

From the guard shack at the gate, shots rang out as a Communist soldier fired his assault rifle at the incoming vehicle. Star-shaped fractures appeared on the front window of the first jeep, and, in the truck, two men had collapsed, mown down by the rifleman. Immediately, machinegunners on the defense towers strafed the incoming HEMT truck's rear with their guns, cultists falling right and left. Some jumped off the truck, firing back at the towers. One of the light Lyran Fox jeeps caught fire and rolled off into the ditch, the crew's very flesh burning as they sought to escape the flaming vehicle.
The front jeep hit the front gate at full speed. It collapsed with a terrible, grating sound, and then the cultists were inside. One of the red-suited men swung his hand rapidly, hefting a large, metallic object into the guard shack.

There was a powerful explosion, and the guard completely ceased to exist as the heavy grenade, designed to destroy APCs, tore his shack into a cloud of high-speed matchwood.

The road was littered with the dead, but the cultists were now returning fire. The Communists had the advantage of multiple heavy machineguns, numbers and positions. The cultists were expert marksmen, and two of the guard towers had already stopped firing. But dozens of Communists were emerging from their dugouts, rushing to reinforce their comrades. Every tower – even those on the far side from the tower – was turning their attention to the road, where the conspicious red uniforms made the cultists extremely attractive targets. Already over half of the fifty-man team was dead...

But they had accomplished their mission. The outpost turned its attention to the road alone. It was time. Commander Harrison raised his radio to his lips.

“BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GODDESS!”

Around the outpost, six .50 BMG hunting rifles said their word at once. The guard towers ceased fire immediately, and a man looking suspiciously like he was in charge fell to one knee, one of his feet torn away at the ankle by a heavy bullet.

Seconds later, the outpost became a firing zone from several directions. The Communists screamed in terror as the Chaos worshippers were now reaping the benefit of their tactic.

“SAPPERS! NOW!”

The sappers knew their jobs. They fired six anti-minefield rockets – simple devices dragging a long explosive line behind them. As the rockets detonated, they would assure six paths over the clearing that separated the camp fence and the jungle would be free of mines.
“Fire!”

RPO-A thermobaric launchers impacted in several locations, tearing several large holes into the fence. Now, it was time to strike.

“Follow me! FOR THE BLOOD GODDESS! KILL! MAIM! BURN!”
Harrison threw himself forward, rushing towards the camp, a Franberrian cavalry sabre in one hand, a KK service pistol (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=5481) in the other.

“Cleanse, purge, kill!”

Behind him, a Asukhonite with a belt-fed MGJ-21 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=14407863#post14407863) machinegun laughed cheerfully as he mowed down two Communists as they tried to get out of their dugout to help their comrades.
From every direction, the followers of the Eightfold Victor charged in. They operated in teams of eight, as that was the sacred number of their Goddess – commander, machinegunner, designated marksman, flamethrower and four riflemen. Some carried the ritual battleaxes of their faith to assist in their slaughter of the infidel communist.
“Destroy the Communist!” - screamed Harrison, firing two shots at a young woman with a red cross patch on her Communist uniform..
Another woman with a similar patch dropped to her knees, raising her hands to cover her face in supplication. “CLEANSE THE SOCIALIST! “ - the Franberrian cavalry sabre came down, removing her hands at the wrists and slashing the left side of her neck.

The Communists saw that victory would not be theirs. But still, they kept fighting, retreating slowly towards the headquarters of the outpost. The Red Banner of the PLFA was still waving upon the outpost, and a wide red placard with the slogan “Marx's Teaching is Almighty, Because It Is Right” hung off the facade. If the Communists were to hold up there...

“KILL! MAIM! BURN!” - shouted the Allanean commander, rushing forward to cut the Communists away from the entrance. - “KILL! MAIM! BURN!” - with his sabre, he beheaded one of the rebels, the front of his clothing soaking instantly in the delicious, thick red blood of the enemy. Now, the exhilaration of battle was upon him. - “KILL! MAIM! BURN! HIT THEM WITH THE BAYONET, SMASH THEM WITH THE STOCK!”

He impaled another Communist upon his sabre, driving it up to the hilt into the enemy's body. He struggled to pull it out – but then, another man charged him from behind, stabbing him in the back with a combat knife.

Pain penetrated Harrison's entire being as the combat knife just narrowly missed his left lung. He struggled with the Communist as the latter raised his knife for another strike that would surely prove fatal - and then the Communist coughed suddenly, blood appearing on his lips as an Asukhon cultist drove him clean through with his engineering bayonet – forty centimeters of quality Allanean steel. Around him, the cultists were already bursting into the building, throwing heavy grenades into every room before going in there themselves. Still, it was a hard battle.

In one room, the ceiling collapsed, kililng three men. In another, a Communist hiding inside a closet opened fire by surprise, killing another man. Another Communist had a pair of grenades and blew himself up as the Allaneans approached, wiping out four men and injuring three more. It was hard fighting – and the men needed reassurance.

Harrison rose to the ground, pointing to the flag on top of the building. - “A thousand dollars and a keg of beer to the man who takes that red rag down! For the Blood Goddess!”

And then, blood oozing from his wound, he charged into the building.
It was ending now. They fought room to room, which knives and machetes and bayonets, removing heads from shoulders with their battleaxes, blowing holes in walls with grenade launchers, destroying and mutilating. They took no quarter and gave none. They were the Messengers of Asukhon. They were Chaos incarnate.

“BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GODDESS!"

Already they were at the last story of the building. The Communists were reduced to a dozen men. The commander of the base was dead – someone chopped off his hand with a Lycos machete (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=14092486#post14092486) and watched him bleed out. The radio men were dead – the cultists laughed as they wrapped them in their banner about the “teaching of Marx” and set them on fire. Only a handful of gurerillas were still fighting on the last story – but the Allaneans knew it was going to be over soon.

“SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!”

Six grenadiers, standing outside in the camp, fired their RPG-7 grenade laucnhers at once, filling the last story with shrapnel and fire. Seconds later, the cultists burst in, finishing off the survivors – beating them to death with rifle buttstocks and kicking their bodies to death. They were Communists, they weren't good enough for a proper coup de grace.

Minutes later, a young soldier delivered the flag to Harrison and implanted a Chaos flag in its stead, with several pictures taken with someone's digital camera.

They left the camp six hours later. They looted what they could from the camp and burned the rest. In two trucks, they took away their wounded and dead. for burial. The Communist dead were not good enough for burial. The bodies of the Communists had been flayed with hunting knives and beheaded, their skulls and skins taken as trophies.
As he looked in the mirror of his staff car, Harrison thought of the day's exploits – and of the fact that his comrades were executing similar actions across other Communist outposts in Albundania. There were 2,400 men like him across the country, organized in three battalions of 800 men – not enough to seriously affect events, of course, but they would sow some chaos (both regular and capital C), and they would no doubt scare the enemy witless, softening him up for the arrival of Allanean regulars. Guerillas didn't like having their tactics used against them, nor were they prepared for that.

Life was good, thought Harrison. His shirt was still wet with the enemy blood – the Sacred Liquid of his faith, cooling him pleasantly as it dried out in the jungle air. He has taken many trophies – and principal of them, resting under his boots as a car rug, was the Red Banner.

The company quickly left the area, as the roar of the explosives made a few of them look back. It would be a day's march to get to the division, but orders were orders, and they had no vehicles.

In total radio silence the large battlegroup slipped through the quiet and calm ocean,on the edge of the horizon beatifull dawn was rising,with suns light reflecting off the huge oceans surface.
Onboard the taskforce flagship aircraft carrier "Red Dawn" planning of the assault has allready taken place,it seemed that the forces currently based in Wolf Hold would be used in the assault of the Communist strongholds and bases.A Blitzkrieg tactic was being introduced...

OOC-10 Sea Harrier fighters, plus each one of my frigates has 32x Starstreak SAMs and 2x 30mm AA guns. my carrier has 2x 20mm AA guns.

Nearing the Coast of Albundania

East Congaree B-1s in the lead perepared to have their flares ready if any enemy aircraft approached. They were high up and out of the range of AA guns, but some SAMs could pose a thread. The B-52Hs each had a remotely-controlled gattling gun in the rear that could prove useful against fighters that had used up all their AAMs and were resorting to cannons.

When the bombers were in range, the Harriers struck. 10 Sea Harriers, each armed with 2 AIM-120 AMRAAMs and 2 AIM-9 Sidewinders moved to intercept the bombers, while the ships below readied their SAMs. The plan was for the fighters to cause the maximum damage possible, then return to the carrier and allow the SAMs to do more damage. Then, the rearmed Harriers would attack again. After that, it would be in the hands of land-based aircraft.

Eden was distressed and overwhelmed, first the oil rig incident and now the uprising in Albduania was turning into a full fledged war. "Uhhh" he muttered as he meditated over the situation, suddenly it hit him that this situation could be made a lot simpler with just a little deception. He immediately conference called the Director of the National Intelligence Agency and the Commander of the Information Defense Force, to propose his plan.

Nearing the Coast of Albundania

The flares could do nothing about BVR radar-guided missiles. 18 in total struck, hitting 14 B-1s altogether, all of which were shot down. The B-1s, however, would not have a lot of trouble dealing with the AIM-9 Sidwinders. The B-1s continued to fly in an erratic line out at sea, baiting the Harriers. Meanwhile, the B-52s were not far behind, waiting for the Harriers themselves.

It has been noted that aircraft from a Comorostan battlegroup engaged and shot down 14 B-1 strategic bombers near Albundanian waters today. This will not be taken lightly. I personally declare that there is a state of conflict between Comorostan and East Congaree, and I ask the congress to prepare to make a more serious declaration if things get worse.

Covington, Kentucky, East Congaree

50 B-1 Bombers, along with 5 B-2 Bombers took off, headed to bomb the capital of Comorostan. They would target Presidential residences, the war department, and congressional buildings. Each of the B-1s carried 81 Mk 82 bombs, while the B-2s carried 80 Mk 82 bombs each. They weren't trying to sneak into the nation, they wanted to be an obvious threat to demoralize the people by decapitating the country's leadership. With the bulk of the Comorostan military overseas, it wouldn't be terribly difficult to conduct these operations and come home unscathed.

The Harriers closed with the B-1s, firing their twin 30mm cannon, conserving their Sidewinders for the B-52s. The 8 jet engines on the bombers would draw the heat-seeking Sidewinders in like metal to a magnet. On the ocean surface, meanwhile, the first of the Starstreak SAMs were fired at the B-1s.

Nearing Albundanian Waters

The B-1s spread out some, hoping to have the harriers use their cannons up and resort to Sidewinders. Early on in the fighting, three B-1s were shot down by enemy fire.

Squadrons of AMX fighters were put on alert. The country had experience in fighting this kind of war. Once again, the rooftops were covered in AA guns and SAMs.

Near Albundanian Waters
The Harriers recognized the ploy. They broke off, allowing the SAMs from the frigates to deal with the remaining B-1s. The Harriers turned and engaged the B-52s with their Sidewinders.

The air radar boards lit up like a christmas tree at Fort Ramos, Comorostan (Jakran Foreign Army+Air Base) the watch commander immediately called out to the 50 unidentified bombers for their IDs and why they were heading straight into Comorostani airspace, in the meantime he oredered the bases's fighters scrambled, SAMs readied and Premeir general Jones called about the situation.

Nearing the Albandanian Coast

The B-1s would not be affected by the Starstreak missiles that only went up 7km, for the B-1s were up at almost 15,000 meters above the sea. The B-52s, however, had a surface ceiling lower than the Harriers. Still they would asccend to 14,000 meters above the sea to make the Harriers work to catch up with them. Furthermore, not being prone to the SAMs below, they changed their targets along with the B-1s to the Comorostan fleet. It was obvious that the bombs wouldn't be very accurate at such a high altitude, but they would still inflict damage. 23 B-1s each carried 81Mk82 bombs, while the B-52s carried their load of bombs. They figured that was certainly enough to destroy the fleet and remove the area for the Harriers to land.

OOC-are your bombs dropping now?

With the SAMs ineffective, the task force commander decided to refrain from firing anymore. Instead, he ordered the Tiger to prepare to rearm the Harriers, who were minutes away from catching up with the B-52s.

The watch officer repeated his hail to the 50 bombers and stated that if they enter Comorostani airspace without replying they would be shot down. He then checked the SAMs, they were locked on and ready to fire(PAC-3 Patriots http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patriot_SAM), then he found out the fighters were also ready. Finally he called the Comorostani Air Force to warn them of possible soverignty infringement.

IC-The task force commander was on the bridge of the carrier Tiger. He heard the whine and knew what it meant. "Oh shi-" his sentence was cut off as a bomb landed right on the bridge. Within minutes the carrier had been badly damaged and three of the four Type 23 frigates had been sunk. The reaction of the Harriers was immediate. With no carrier to land on, they fired off their Sidewinders, then flew cannons blazing at the B-52s, hoping to take a few down with them.

Twelve of the B-52s were shot down by the sidewinders. However, with the enemy having already used up a lot of his cannon fire, the incoming Harriers on the remaining B-52s would be easy targets for the gattling guns at the back of the aircraft. In total, it was tens Harriers and their cannons versus the 8 gattling guns of the remaining B-52s.

With the last of cannon ammunition exhausted, the Harriers kicked in the afterburners. Two had been shot down, so now there was one Harrier for each remaining B-52. The Harriers went full speed at the bombers.

The bombers kept advancing towards Comorostan, hoping to decapitate the Comorostan regime.

A government-held seaport in Albundania

The troops started disembarking in the early morning – thousands of Allaneans, armor, trucks and weaponry. The Allaneans had decided on a propaganda move – denoting the entrance of the Allanean Army into the nation with a parade. Therefore, the troops were clad in black parade dress, their boots, bayonets, and the badges on their hats polished to a sign. Now, their combat vehicles crawled through the city at a walking pace, followed by Allanean troops, marching in perfect unison. The Allaneans drilled their troops in the same parade practices that Greater Prussian troops were known for.

Carried out front were the banners of the 601st and 403rd divisions, decorated in gold and silver on a black background (Goldwater division) or a red one (Fire and Flames division). The Lyran combat boots hammered the message of the Allaneans into the ground as they passed on – and the throats of thousands of infantrymen carried their war songs over the surprised city.

They weren't Boy Scouts any more – they were line infantry, Allanean Marksmen. The Allanean regulars were far better trained and more disciplined than the Asukhonite troops, but they were also famous for their brutal tactics. Here came a tank decorated with the skulls of Antanjylian troops, and there was a commander wearing a belt made from the skin of an Aoogan commissar. Though the society back home in Allanea was quite liberal, towards their enemies, the Allaneans used tactics that could make even dedicated barbarians cringe. Now, they were coming to destroy Albundanian Communism.

Battalion after battalion, they marched through the port town, their bayonets glinting in the sunlight. Doomani-manufactured Bellicus helicopters flew overhead, the sound of their blades in itself a death sentence to every Communist agent in Albundania.

Off Comorostani Shores
The ISF garrisons on the many oil rigs near the coast had been alerted by radar to the approaching bombers. Each rig had been equipped with 8 50mm AA guns and 4 Starstreak SAM emplacements. The plan was simple:as soon as the bombers were on radar, open fire. Five squadrons of AMX fighters (60 fighters total) each armed with four AIM-120 AMRAAMs and two AIM-9 Sidewinders and 2 30mm cannon, were in the air, moving to intercept. In the Comorostani capital itself, the roofs were again covered with SAM launchers and AA guns and the streets were occupied by SP SAM launchers and AA guns.

Because of the height the bombers were flying at, the Starstreaks and the AA guns couldn't affect them. However, the bombers could have a shot. The fighters might be a thread, but the B-1s posessed flares and radar jammers. Also, the B-52s each has their one gattling gun, as usual.

The aircraft proceed onward, unaffected by the Starstreaks and AA guns.

As the AMXs appraoched, the rigs fell silent. Once in range, the AMXs launched two of their four AMRAAMs at the bomber stream, conserving the remaining missiles for the rest of the bomber stream. (That's 120 AIM-120 AMRAAMs)

At the same time as the bombers forces were engaging, an ambassador from Comorostan was sending a diplomatic message to East Congaree. The message read:
The Democratic Republic of Comorostan, after reviewing the events leading up to this conflict, would like to propose a cease-fire. We are willing to withdraw our forces from Albundania.
OOC-this might seem kind of out of the blue, but, 1. my nation just finished fighting a massive war with a nation much larger than itself, 2. this thread kind of got taken over by our little side conflict, and 3. its obvious that this conflict will lead to another giant war and I don't have the time to RP a big war. a peacekeeping effort is easier

The 1st HAWK team, made up of the sniper Johnson, the Team Leader Lemanski, MG gunner Hawkins, and radioman Joseph, were a team assembled from the best of the HAWKs. They had been assembled to attempt to bring this war to an end for once and for all, by killing the PLFA leader, Derrick Williams. The team approached the camp, eliminating the two man patrols as they went, until they were in eyesite of the camp. "holy jesus." Johnson said. "how many do you think?" asked Joseph. "you think we need an artillery strike to preempt?" Lemanski thought it over. "No. As far as they know, we don't know this camp is right here. We still have the element of surprise. Johnson, can you take out the tower guards while we sneak into the base?" Johnson considered. "probably, but I'll have to move my ass after I do.
Understood Johnson." Johnson picked up his rifle. "say goodnight you commies." He fired, and the guy in the tower fell over the edge to the ground, already dead. "I wonder if they saw th..." his question was cut short, as an alarm went off. "oooooh shit." stated Lemanski. Alright, Hawkins and Johnson provide cover while Joseph gets us some artillery. The City of Albundun was the goal of the Allanean divisions. It was relatively close to the shore, and the divisions approached it rather quickly, stopping ten kilometers outside of the city limits. Surely, the Communists knew about their approach by now and would be even now preparing for it.

But the Allaneans had also prepared. They split up their units, artillery taking up key positions around the city. Satellite photography assisted the military commanders in locating the City Hall and other locations. Trenches and dugouts were being rapidly dug, even the Allanean commander sent out a message to the Communists:

Radar stations across Comorostan were set up for jamming by the B-1s, and the effects of the AMRAAMS would be almost completely useless, and their hope of striking the aircraft would only be by a random strike. The bombers proceeded onwards.

The frequencies of the AMX fighters were filled with profanity. The fighters closed to engage with twin 30mm cannon and Sidewinders. Killing the B-2s could be difficult, but they would find a way.

Nearing the Coast of Comorostan

The bombers approached the coast, dashing towards the capital. It wouldn't be long before they were directed to drop their bombs and scurry on for home.

Official Announcement of the United States Government

Due to our declaration of war against Stoklomolvi and our entrance into the Communist-Fascist War, we are forced to evacuate our forces. Our divisions and the Asukhonite forces will be withdrawn within 12 hours by Ouroboros super-lifter. That is all.

As the bombers flew overland towards the capital, they were met by more SAMs and gunfire and additional AMX fighters, now engaging specifically with cannon and Sidewinders.

a parade was held in the streets to honor the Stoklomlvi and their unintentional assistance. It was midway through the parade that the first explosion was heard. PLFA leader in the city, Bear, looked towards the sound. "what the hell was that?" he wondered out loud. Then a sonic boom was heard and he looked up, to see 3 F-22 Raptors. "oooooooh shit!!!" The plaza (ironically the very plaza where the Nazis were parading) was light up in a huge fire ball as several cluster bombs landed in the middle of the group, killing several high-ranking officials.

The 19th and 42nd Special Purpose Squadrons were ready. These were two squadrons, 15 aircraft each. They were equipped with the F-104 Starfighter, because it most resembled an arrow. They were packed with explosives, and the minute the East Congaree bombers were in sight, they would ram as many as possible.

Over Albundania
Comorostan had flown in two squadrons, 10 aircraft each, of F-1 anti-shipping strike fighters. They were each armed with four Type 80 ASM-1s, with a 331 pound armor piercing warhead and a range of 31 miles, they would be lethal against the East Congaree fleet.

Albundun

The first Marine unit fresh out of Egaigus Stood on the outskirts of the city. A replacement walked up to colonel Fermound. "sir, do you know how the fight at the port is going..."

The PLFA column of tanks moved onwards, now with SAMs that managed to keep the A-10s at bay. As the group moved into the town, they realized that a bridge leading into the town had been blown. As they moved the mobile bridge into place, the HAWK team fired their AT weapons, blowing up 2 T-90s and the bridging unit. The HAWKs fell back into the town. The PLFA would now have to wait some more for the support division to send up another bridging unit. The tank commander radioed in his situation.

A rumble could be heard as he got a call. "your situation is understood. Will advise lat..."
Artillery hit the HQ, the first shell hitting the room Williams was in, killing him. The PLFA (who are commies, religious fanatics, and other groups feeling wronged by the government) was now leaderless.

"Sir!" he waited, and looked over at his 2nd in command. "we're on our own. I think Williams is dead." The Co commander looked over at him. "what are we going to do?
We're going to take this city, and make communication with the other groups. Jenson being his vice, is now in charge of this show."

The first marine division moved into the city, encountering heavy resistance. The rebels had more tanks than anticipated, but several A-10 waves canceled that advantage. Then the division moved into the city, and were stopped cold in urban warfare. Casualties quickly skyrocketed into the hundreds.

Johnson Sea Base

The bridge had been repaired and the armor moved in unopposed. It had appeared that the Albundanian Military (AM) had vacated the city. Then they saw the B-2s. One colonel summed up the sight. "Where the hell did the AM get those!!?" the bombs dropped and decimated the armor and supporting infantry, and that was when 2 AM armor and 1 infantry division moved into the city and encircled the PLFA force.

OOC: Yes, they were, but they whipped around the Comorostan navy.

With the SAM's and AA guns ineffective, along with the air-air missiles only bringing down four B-1s, the aircraft began their bombing. The B-2s headed to the presidential residence, the congressional buildings, and the war department. B-1s focused their effors on airfields. Meanwhile, two Ohio Class submarines were sent off to near the coasts of Comorostan, where they planned to fire off their load of 154 Tomahawk Cruise missiles each. Their missiles would be focused in on naval bases and harbors. Also, at home, 10 B-2 bombers and 80 B-52 bombers were fitted with their normal bomblad. The B-52s each carried 28 Mk82 bombs, while the B-2s each carried 80 Mk82 bombs. Their targets would also be airbases, which they hoped to finish off. Just after that, a flotilla of ships consisting of Five Kitty Hawk Class Aircraft carriers, twenty Iowa Class Battleships, fifty Arleigh Burke Class Destroyers, and twenty five Ohio class submarines would come in to destroy the air defenses that remained. On the Kitty Hawk class carriers would be five EA-18G Growlers, and forty F-14Ds. Coming along with the naval group would be 70 T-55 tanks, 20 T-34 tanks, 1500 technicals, 70,000 East Congaree infantrymen, 1,000 East Congaree marines, and 1,000 75mm howitzers.

It had been only an hour of bitter fighting with the PLFA when the rebels had to surrender, out of ammo and desperately outnumbered. The Division Commander moved into the city center and raised the Albundanian Flag. "For Freedom!"

Albundun

the PLFA had regained the initiative after several artillery barrages. However for every yard they gained blood was spilled. After only three days of fighting, over 1000 were dead. Most soldiers didn't even know the elections were going on right now, they were so caught up in fighting. In total, the frontline had moved 2 city blocks in three days of fighting.

Liszeograd

The acting capital of the AM, election results were in. Kyle Liszeo had managed to keep his office by a 8% margin. Liszeo also declared the PLFA would be crippled by the end of his 2nd term, and that PLFA leader Derrick Williams had been killed by Albundanian artillery. He plans investing money into universal health care as soon as the economy is back on its feet, which it is not at the time, according to Liszeo.

New PLFA HQ, Albundun

A heated dispute broke out between Jenson and Burkes. Both claimed to be in power after Williams death. "I was his vice, this makes me his successor, and now I'm in power!" Jenson said. " I was his favorite, and he signed this document making me the successor!" shouted Burke. He held up a document. "Thats BS!!! He isn't allowed to do that, its against our code!!" screamed Jenson. "Well, he did. End of story." The next day, the two broke the PLFA into two groups. All around the country a wave of confusion broke out, as the PLFA fought each other on the streets, dozens of groups claiming power.

Albundun

The PLFA suddenly seemed to fold on the frontline, and the AM forces took their chance. What they didn't expect to see was a full out armored battle between the PLFA, and the PLFA. the AM armor got into the area, and ambushed the two warring factions. they PLFA didn't even have time to react as most of their armor perished in giant fire balls. Albundun would fall within the hour, and the PLFA would all be forced out of major cities. In total, over 10,000 rebels were captured on that day. Albundania claimed a victory of communism. However the PLFA weren't dead yet. They would go into hiding and ambush various supply trucks and outposts for a long while yet. In fact one such faction of the PLFA was ready to strike at Albundun, knowing that there was going to be tremendous pressure on Albundania to keep the EC at bay wherever they were attacking.

Comorostani Capital
As the aircraft approached the capital, the Special Purpose Squadrons struck. 30 F-104s shot up out of the capital and went full speed at the bombers. Their unique shape and their high speed ensured that all 30 would get through. Each one carried enough explosive to bring down a B-2, definitely enough to bring down a B-1.

Johnson Sea Base
With the base secured, the F-1s launched from there. 20 F-1 anti-shipping strike fighters launched against the East Congaree fleet. After a short distance, they fired off four Type 80 ASM-1 anti-shipping missiles each at the fleet from 30 miles, too far out to be engaged by anti-air weapons. The missiles skimmed along to the ocean, towards the East Congaree fleet.

OOC: That fleet isn't near your waters yet.

Over the Capital of Comorostan

The B-2s and B-1s used their radar jamming systems to deal with the Delta Darts. Two B-2s fell from a visual range ramming by the Delta Darts. The remaining B-2s quickly began their work, one attacking the presidential residence, one attacking the congressional building, and one attacking the war department. The B-1s began bombing airfields.

The Albundanian fleet couldn't do much to the East Congaree fleet, but they looked for any naval force Albundania could muster.

Eden sat behind his desk smiling and quietly sipping brandy, across from him the head of the NIA(National Intelligence Agency) and Commander of the IDF (Information Defense Force) did the same, it was not a moment for joyus celebration, simply a moment to sit back let action take it's course and quietly savor the moment.
The reason for this quiet celebration was extrordinary, ten minutes prior to this meeting an e-mail had been sent to every infrastructure authority in EC .Disguised as a report on vacation time increases, it was almost garunteed to be opened. However attached to each e-mail was Jakra's feat of information warfare a Masse Kernel, designed by the IDF commander himself (Phillip Masse) the Kernels were advanced algorithms that would blow past almost any security system and give control of that system over to whoever deployed the Kernel. In turn this would allow Jakra total control over the EC's infrastructure, and the best part was until the Kernels activated plunging the EC infrastructure into chaos they would be invisible or at least inconspicuous in the multitude the EC's computer network.

After days of inactivity and lack of any information,CISFOR commander decided to act against the Communists,so called PLFA.
After some thinking and planning Operation Valkyrie Freedom was initiated,under the cover of darkness 10 battalions of CISFOR mountain rangers were airlifted close to the city of Albundun.

The huge explosions and gunshots could be heard in 3 miles distance aroud the city.

Magister's road,Major Highway 984 Wolf Hold 20 miles from Albundandian border


7th CISFOR armored brigade was getting ready to storm into Albundandia,their commander was shouting orders from his Viking hatch.
Potentional Targets of the 7th armored were the border cities in Albundandia currently under communist control.
The Armored fist of The Commonwealth was estimating that they could take entire Albundandia in a matter of days,but unfortunatly that wasnt their goal.
Their goal was to reinstate the rightfull goverment and to ensure stability in the region.

CISNAV Fleet 500 miles off the coast of Albundandia

30 FGFA fighters were scrambled to air due to the start of Operation Valkyrie Freedom,they were on standby and waiting for their orders.
Entire Fleet was put on high allert,to defensive condition 1 due to the possibilty of chemical,nuclear and nerve-gas attack.

WHS Lombax, 5th Fleet Flag
"This is the 5th Fleet of the Wolf Hold Navy in support of CISFOR and Wolf Hold Marine landings. We are begining shore bombardment of beach now classified as Beach 22 (OOC:Located in between Albundun and Egaigus) We request all local goverment or goverment allied forces withdraw immeidtatly or suffer the risk of being destroyed. I repeat all Goverment allied forces in the area of Beach 22 withdraw immediatly"

The Wolf's Admiral put the radio broadcaster down as the comms tech began to broadcast the message across all the encrypted channels used by the allied goverment forces. "XO give the order to begin the bombardment" The Admiral then ordered.
"Sir you know that any Goverment units will have had time to withdraw" The XO pointed out
"I know, however are marines are deploying as we speak and I wont that beach softened by the time they arrive." Looking out the window, the Admiral could see the CH-53 Super Stallion aircraft taking off and heading for the shore, onboard were the 1,000 Men of the Marine Force Recon C Company, who were on there way to asses the conditon of the beach. Behind the CH-53s came the wave of 500 cluster muniton missiles arcing out of the WHS Lombax's vast VLS launch systems and towards the beach. MEanwhile as these tow forces were approaching the beach the remaining 14,000 Marines and 9000 Marine Force Recon, were floating in LCACs and LPDs sitting just infront of the 5th Fleet with the Harriers and F22Ns providing CAP.


Highway 985, Wolf Hold, 20 Miles from Albundandian border
Wolf's General Mayham looked out across the strip of ground that seperated the two highways, assembling on the oppisite highway were the tanks of the CISFOR task force. Around about 700 Main Battle Tanks, the General was impressed but he knew his force was far superior. The 1st Heavy Armoured Assault Divison consisted of 500 heavy tanks, some of the best fighting vehicles in the world with some of the largest guns avalible to the world, ranging from the 140mm variety up to the 155mm gun. Also they were supported by the power of 50 HIMARS and several Tor anti-air systems. The 1st Heavy Armoured Assault Divison was ready to complete their mission alongside their CISFOR brothers. Restore the rightful goverment to Albundania at any cost.

Albundania

Everywhere in Albundania people were celebrating the PLFA's retreat to the jungles, but the fight was not yet over. The jungles were still a major hotspot. Fighting between the AM and PLFA reached a climax a few miles south of Albundun, called engagement zone 2.

now Major Lemanski stepped to the map in his command center, in downtown Albundun. his last report was a bleak one. " Sir, the PLFA got artillery. We need to fall back to the city trenches!" Lemanski thought over how good an idea the trenches had been, and deployed several Marine divisions to ready themselves in the trenches. His concern wasn't the EC, that was General Mike's job. He just had to hold the PLFA at bay while he did his job. For the most part, since the power vaccum had begun the PLFA hadn't managed to hold off anything larger than a company. They had their act together here however, and Lemanski would have his first battle of his career commanding something larger than a 12 man team.

As the engagement wound up, the Expeditionary Strike Force began withdrawing back to Comorostan over the border. A few squadrons of AMX fighters, L-39ZO Albatross attack aircraft, and the two squadrons of F-1 anti-shipping strike fighters, would remain to help combat the East Congaree fleet. But the main focus was on defending the homeland.

Eden and his cabinet decided since the sucessful deployment of the Masse Kernels and the arrival of CISFOR that th Jakran combat troops would be withdrawn, only leaving 30 F-35s to airstrike PLFA positions.
