Astholm's motor industry seeks new interest [IC]

Astholm

In the Astholmian nation of Golzow, the motor industry seeks new interest; most cars there are sold fully imported, and there are only two local makers there: Walmsley (who market rebadged Opel, Chevrolet, Saturn and Buick vehicles) and Barholm Motors (more of a distributor than a true maker, marketing the licence-built version of the 1980s Ford Escort sold in Europe, and a mid-size saloon that is a rebadged Mazda 626, 1991-1997 version).

Golzowian Statesman for Motor Industry, Marcus Schenk, has appealed for more manufacturers to build vehicles in the country.

Please reply back should you wish to construct new automobiles here.

Soundgarden Motor would like to build a factory in Golzow. We have been building Netzums - a 2 door 255 horsepower sedan - for 5 years. I would be interested in having our company in your country.

Thank you for your offer, it has been gratefully accepted in our region.
However, we assume that Netzum is just the name of the car - no other badge - i.e. it is a Netzum car?

Yes, Netzum is the car we have been producing. We are also in the process of building SUVs that are home-made. Perhaps you would like to join us in this?

Thank you for your interest; we would appreciate building new SUVs in Golzow.

What size are they; what engines are available, and how much do you intend to sell them for? Are they your own design, or rebadged?

Kilncadzow Motors (who are based in Astholm) import the Surim Escudo, a rebadged 1988-1998 Suzuki Vitara, available with 1.6-litre 4-cylinder petrol engines, in three and five-door bodystyles.

Escalogue, which is a rebadged Suzuki Vitara/Grand Vitara, powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder and 2.5-litre V6 petrol engines, available as a five-door station wagon SUV or soft-top.

We would be willing to export them to your nation.

Dear Sir,

VLT Automotive is a large automobile manufacturer coming from the Grand Duchy of Van Luxemburg, with holdings all across the world. Prime examples of our products include the Monteluci Duca (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=13603318#post13603318) and Ducareale (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=584265).

We currently strive to produce the majority of our VLT cars locally, to cut down on transportation costs. Therefore, we are interested in starting production of our automobiles in your nation, and start sales only several months later. The most important parts for these vehicles, such as engines and gearboxes, will be shipped in, and the vehicles will be assemble dlocally, using limited numbers of local resources, for example the leather needed for the interior upholstery, or the glass required for the windscreen.

The assembly plant will mainly assemble the VLT models L3, L5, L6, L9 and L10, which take up the majority of sales in most nations. Other VLT, Monteluci and Lepanto products, such as the Monteluci's mentioned before, will be shipped in from the Grand Duchy of Van Luxemburg.

The factory is expected to assemble 500,000 vehicles per annum, and will require ten-thousand employees to crew the day and night shifts. For VLT, it is customary to confirm itself to the average pay for factory workers in the automotive sector in that nation, and if pay is low enough (e.g. if the average pay level is at least 20% below that of our Van Luxemburger salaries), add a 10% bonus on top of that.

Dear Sir,
our nation is within the continent of Astholm. We are a separate country from Astholm, but ruled by them.

Your offer has been gratefully accepted, although further negotiations as to vehicles being built and specifications/trim levels etc. must commence before any factories can be built.

Kilncadzow Motors in Astholm has said to us they intend to market some of these locally as Nissan vehicles too, which are also locally-made.

We may also market them under other manufacturers' brand names, depending on if they are willing to negotiate with you regarding this.

In due course a spokesman for our manufacturers will post here.

Negotiations can commence now, and we thank you for your offer. You will always be accepted anywhere within the Astholm regions and continent.

Dear Sir,

Specifications of our vehicles can be found in our catalogue, which is located here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=540064). Once again, the vehicles that will be built are the L3, L5, L6, L9 and L10. VLT does not construct vehicles with different trim levels in different factories: our integrated and automated production system will recognise the vehicle by chassis number, including information regarding trim levels and optional equipment to be installed, and will automatically build the correct vehicles if supplied the right parts.

We are also very sorry to refuse your offer regarding rebadged VLT automobiles. We feel that our brands all have a unique brand identity that must remain in place, as it is part of the heart and soul that belongs to the vehicle. Therefore, we must politely turn down your offer regarding rebadging.

Dear Mr. Schmidt,
We are separate from Astholm culturally, but we are on the same continent.

However, you can start the new distribution channels within Golzow. Our distributors will post here soon.
