We declare war on the Grand World Order.
OOC: I'm taking bets on how long he/she will last.
Serious side: Dude, you've got a one liner intro for a thread and GWO military force is (I'm guessing) larger than your population alone. I suggest you ask for this to be deleted before you do something that'll you regret later.
Also, read the stickies!
One last thing....EXPAND!! Other RPer's might want to read this and they would like to know why did this happen, who gave the orders, what's going to happen and more importantly will you make the first move. Those sort of things you add will make the RP more interesting not to mention people telling you to read the stickies.
Also, read the stickies!

Seriously, My nation has a history of pissing off bigger nations (only been here 6 days as well) the GWO included, luckily so many people are invading me now that he backed off. (Nuking him helped too) My advice is delete this thread and if you are going to declare war on such a large nation have a hell of a lot of support. Now I must go back to defending my nation from a bloody huge dogpile.

Nearing the port of Tianjin
The Kirov class battlecruisers, along with the rest of the surface ships prepared to bombard coastal areas on the Bohai Gulf. Their shells and machine gun rounds would already do plenty enough damage to land West of Tianjin as planned , while the submarines each launched a missile with a 1000kg warhead at Tianjin harbor.
Now the Allaneans were concerned with the attack on Tianjin (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14533407&postcount=91). Their reaction was rapid. They deployed a fleet of 100 B-22 bombers to Austin, escorted by AWACS and B22J. Again, a cargo of fuel-air explosive bombs was deployed against the city center – 20,000 tons of bombs, 5 times greater than the amount of explosives used in Dresden.
The message to the Congaree government was: Lay off Qing. NOW.
East Congaree
21-02-2009, 01:08
Nearing the Port of Tianjin
East Congaree proceeded with their attack, despite seeing an Allanean bomber force coming to attack their homeland once again. The submarines each launched their SS-N3 missile at Tianjin harbor. The missiles were aimed at defenses around the harbor, along with a few at refueling tanks and docks. The Kirov class battlecruisers lead the way in pounding shore defenses 30 miles west of Tianjin, while the Jianghu-I class frigates went off to neutralize whatever ships the Great Qing had in the Bohai Gulf. The Kashin class destroyers aimed to bombard whatever remained of Tianjin harbor. All other ships in the invasion fleet went 30 miles East of Tianjin, and began bombarding the coast there. When the bombardment was done, 40 T-34 tanks would land there and attempt an inland push at a lightning pace.
Nearing the Port of Tianjin
The Allaneans had moved again, deploying two B-22 bombers and a single AWACS aircraft from one of their minor colonies. As they approached Tianjin, the bombers fired their usual weapon – the TASM missile, aiming 240 of the missiles at the enemy ships and surfaced submarines at maximum range.
East Congaree
21-02-2009, 01:26
Nearing Tianjin
Thirty-eight of the submarines were sunk, being exposed above the surface after they fired off their missiles. 72 Jianghu-I class frigates were sunk, along with 30 Kashin Class destroyers, 10 Soveremenny class destroyers, two troop transports, carrying 2,000 infantrymen in total, a transport carrying 20 T-34 tanks, and 90 Osa class missile boats.
20 Kirov Class Battlecruisers
10 Whiskey Class Submarines
200 Osa Class Missile Boats carried in transport ships
200 Jianghu-I Class frigates
40 Kashin Class Destroyers
20 Sovremenny Class destroyers
This doesn't make sense... did you make any other deployments?
This is
The Allaneans did not have the firepower to send out huge bomber fleets again and again at such a minor front, but they did send out another fleet, this time composed of ten B-22's and a single AWACS. This time they launches fifty of the Akkar AshMs each, taken from one of the Confederate munitions – between them, they launched 500 AShMs at any ship still on the surface from maximum range.

The military was already mobilizing; somewhere around 200,000 total (Meaning, including logistics) personnel were being called upon to quash the nation of Qing. Expected resistance was low-moderate to minimal, which was definitely well-accepted news for the troops being sent abroad. Iodine Province, which resided in Northeast China, however, was worried. Maximum alert status had been called in the Province, though most of the GWO remained on standard security levels, pending on local problems.
Satellites were snapping photographs of Qing defenses as they passed by, which would be sent to the Directorate of Reconnaissance and Intelligence for heavy analysis by analysts, DRI agents, and high-grade officers.
Qing would become yet another subject of GWO military operations, like so many before them.

Guaymas, East Congaree
5 East Congaree infantry divisions, escorted by 100 Sovremenny class destroyers, began to set course for the Qing Empire. They aimed to land in Shanghai proper, then push inland.
Hong Kong, East Congaree
1,000 East Congaree infantrymen pushed inland, aiming to link up Hong Kong with East Congaree's posession in Guangzhou. While most of Southern China lay under East Congaree's sphere of influence, it had technically still belonged to China's government for awhile, and both East Congaree forces and Chinese forces lay inside East Congaree's sphere of influence.
Off the coast of Liaodong State
8 Liaodong State gunboats took off, escorting a regiment of Liaodong State troops that intended to land directly in Tianjin harbor.
Qingdao Airbase, Shandong State
40 MiG-21s took off, each carrying two 250 lb. bombs. Their goal was simple. All they were to do was drop bombs over the Forbidden city, and then shoot up the rest of Dongcheng district with cannon fire.

It seems that the people of Eat Congee are invading another China. How interesting.

The Empire of the Great Qing, which covered what could be considered one province [Zhili], stood, unwavering, in the face of the fascist onslaught. The main portion of China, which was under command of the Ming, ignored the Qing, and the shore defenses were fortified further as the soldiers from East Congaree wasted their time bombing a distant China. The confusion bought the Qing some time reinforce their positions.

The GWO Armada tasked with the invasion of Qing was based around a collection of Nimitz-class Supercarriers and San Antonio landing docks. There was a decent amount of destroyers, frigates, and cruisers to serve as escorts (They were commanded by the Battleship FWS San Diego). Combat air patrols were constantly above, served by F-22Ns, F-23s, EA-18Gs, F-35s, and AWACs. Satellites were constantly feeding info to the GWO military, making sure that a Qing fleet (Which wasn't a threat; the GWO fleet was probably larger than the entire Qing navy, should there actually be one) couldn't approach without the Order knowing. T-212 submarines and a pair of GWO-edition Akula-class subs lurked below.
The fleet was clearly geared for invasion; most of the ships were logistics or transport (Carriers, Amphibious Assault Ships, and Landing Docks) ships, with a smaller amount being composed of actual "combat ships" (Which would most likely be used primarily for pounding the shore once they were in range). Either way, the fleet would undoubtedly have no problems in dealing away with the Qing. The land operations would be tougher than the sea and air campaigns, but the GWO Military's pride was in its ground forces.
The fall of Qing was coming, and there was without a doubt it wouldn't be pretty for the victims.

Empire of the Great Qing
Hah, we laugh at your pitiful "army".
---
"The Emperor protects!"
The banner was omnipresent. Everywhere, recruitment posters called upon the some six million inhabitants of the Great Qing to rally under the Manchurian Banners. In a massive wave, a million conscripts were drawn, leaving the economy in shambles but able to fight off the invasion until the Qing government could nuke the tiny bit of shore that they controlled. Every one out of three conscripts was given one Lee-Enfield rifle; the other two were given bullets. Some received better weapons, such as BARs and M2 crew-served machine guns. Still, the weapons that were present were few, and the enemy numerous; it would be much time before any hope of survival could be seen.
The young nation, luckily composed primarily of young people from ages 20-30 [nobody was older than 50 for whatever reason except the Emperor, who was 66], was efficient and productive, but as time draws on the new nation would slowly degrade into a lumbering behemoth with a huge population and little of anything else, much like the Ming to the north, west, and south. The city of Tientsin was the largest port, population around 600,000. To the north, at Chinhuangtao, population 250,000, was the only other port; the rest of the coastal terrain was extremely rugged and completely impassable, for the mountains and forests were so tight that a man of average stature could not pass between the branches. Naturally, most of the trees were dead from overcrowding, and others dying, but the half-dead forest was still thick.
The conscripts rushed to the two cities, swelling the populations temporarily and rapidly consuming food supplies. Rationing was issued, as every man was given a piece of bread around the size of a small textbook to last the day. Civilians fled, and the soldiers fortified the coastal buildings with whatever they had: sandbags, dead wood, large stones, and even rotting meat from the compost heaps. Virtually nothing was left behind by the civilians; no cars, no furniture, nothing.

Outside the Port of Tianjin, Greater Qing Empire
Han Chinese nationalist propaganda was being screamed from loudspeakers on ships, trying to get the Han and Hui Chinese to rise up against Manchu rule. The East Congaree Marines and Infantry now planned to both land 20 miles west of Tianjin, after which the Sonora rangers would land 30 miles East of Tianjin and encircle the city with the Marines and Infantry from three sides.
Outside the port of Qinghuangdao, Great Qing Empire
The East Congaree ground forces planned to land just West of Qinghuangdao in Zhejiang then rush Northeast, before making a drive south into the rear of Qinghuangdao , while East Congaree ships would continue to pound the city.

Unfortunately for the East Congaree, there were no Han Chinese people living in the Qing; in fact, there were no Chinese people at all, only Qing. The loudspeakers also played the messages at a low enough volume so that most of the coast did not even hear it, much less inspire anyone. If anything, the propaganda angered the Qing soldiers.
The soldiers in Tientsin stayed in the long row of houses that overlooked the very small sandy beachhead before the pebbles and low walls of the residential areas. Machine gunners were placed on the second stories, while the rifles stayed in rear houses and upper levels. The only viable landing location at all would be along the beaches of Tientsin and Chinhuantao.
The East Congaree marines and infantry would end up in the middle of what would essentially be a solid wall made of wood.

2 INT OFFICE NIGHT
A legend places us in Fengtian, Jeuna, but to us, it may as well be anywhere in Jeuna.
It is dark on this side of the world. Morning will not come for several more hours. The night shift of Jeunese personnel in utility uniforms are settled into their workstations. PANORAMA of large maps on several monitors at the front of the room showing bright, tagged icons in various colors, with identities marked with abbreviated Jeunese characters, continents in black and the oceans in subdued blue. Some of the smaller monitors are focused on continents and separate countries, while the large, central map is world-wide and quite cluttered.
PAN TO a bank of consoles. A young STAFFER looks up from his console at a red, blinking cluster of icons. He becomes agitated, and calls over the middle-aged WATCH OFFICER, with the pips of a Captain on his collars. They speak in Jeunese.
STAFFER
We have a Gee-Dublyew-Oh fleet on screen, just finished leaving harbour. Its likely target is the Qing Empire. You asked to be informed when something like this happened.
The WATCH OFFICER nods.
WATCH OFFICER
Thank you, Lieutenant. You may continue with your business. In the mean time, Lieutenant Chang will be in charge.
The WATCH OFFICER leaves, as THE CAMERA TRACKS in front of him. The Captain looks determined, with a hint of a sly smile.
CUT TO:
3 EXT PLAZA MORNING
FAN BANOU stands behind a podium. The camera ZOOMS IN slightly to focus on him, rather than the crowd of seated journalists and peripheral cameramen. The first row is still visible.
FAN BANOU speaks in a firm voice, fixing his audience with a penetrating stare.
FAN BANOU
For one hundred plus eight years, the people of the Han, the Manchu, the Zhuang, the Uyghur and the many other Peoples of Greater Jeuna have lived harmoniously in liberty under the Republic's rule.
Pause for dramatic effect.
FAN BANOU
Now we find that a nation of the Manchu has been attacked by the tyrant of the so-called 'Grand World Order' and his sycophantic crony allies, and for what? For what, People of Jeuna? For standing up to their ever-encroaching tyranny; for refusing to let the evil octopus of terror ensnare one more innocent nation! Are they to be vilified for having backbone enough to stand against the rising tide of collectivism and statism? I say NO!
FAN SLAMS the podium in disgust.
FAN BANOU
No, they shall NOT stand as criminals. They are a bulwark against tyranny, and shall be engaged in that way. To this end—
There is a rising rumour of anger and discontent among the reporters. FAN is briefly overwhelmed by the noise, before the crowd eventually calms.
FAN BANOU
—To this end, I am sallying forth the Fourth Route Army, under the command of General Feng Kuohao, to secure the Qing Empire's continued life, liberty and possession of their rightful property. They shall not stand alone! Hurrah!
FAN punctuates his statement with his fist in the air. The crowd erupts into applause. Several reporters try to edge in questions, offering up tape recorders, but are drowned out. PATRIOTIC MUSIC plays in the background.

The first signs of invasion were already beginning. A force of F-22Ns and EA-18G Growlers were catapulted into the air to establish air superiority over the Qing beaches. RADAR and communications jammers were put into effect before the aircraft entered the range of Qing SAM sites. If no resistance came from the air, a wing of F-35s would be next, preparing to slam collections of Qing troops and positions that could be trouble for troops with 2,000-pound JDAM laser-guided munitions. The EA-18G Growlers, for lack of anything to do besides jam things,
The ships began to spit volleys of various cruise missiles at other Qing positions, regardless of fighting in the air.

At Tientsin, the missiles struck building after building, although all the buildings were virtually the same and completely unmarked. Hundreds of civilian houses were obliterated, cars exploded, and roads destroyed. Some hundred soldiers were killed, and a large number of the coastal buildings collapsed, though nothing was gained for either side as the buildings ended up providing more cover than they could have before. The rubble concealed the black uniforms of the Qing soldiers excellently, and the smoke from the explosions shrouded the city from satellite surveillance. Soon, the sky turned completely grey, and began to darken as more and more smoke poured out of the burning wooden structures in the centre of the city.
Bombs and shells landed all over the city, wrecking buildings that had been standing only three days prior. The smoke that floated over the city grew even more dense, and a huge conflagration soon engulfed the sections of the city closest to Peking.

Wrapped in a white ralkovian cloak stood the Empress of Ralkovia, Maria Raskov. She looked at the paper the death guard had put in front of her and cleared her throat. She was unsure exactly what she was reading but she had to sound confident. She began to read to herself what it said. She soon figured out it was a declaration of total war. It gave her goose bumps as she continued to read the order of the papers.
The crowd began to roar as the she stepped up to the podium. A crowd of at least 2 million people watched but that number was dwarfed by the millions if not billions of eyes that were going to watch her in a few moment. It would have been exciting if the reason for calling them was not full of sorrow. She swallowed as three dark figure walked to the lower podiums. The figure in the middle walked up to the microphone below her own and raised his arms.
If one had yelled for the crowd to be quiet they may not have gotten the same results as 2 million people instantly stopped talking. Not even a whisper could be heard. A technician pressed a button and throughout the Empire all broadcasting and receiving devices switched to the picture of the seal of the Emperor. Under it, in a beautiful flowery white of a lily were the words written,"Please Stand By For An Important Announcement." The sound of a women spoke the words with crystal clear precision in the many different language that made up the Ralkovian Empire.
The clamoring of the busy stock market, the raucous of honking traffic jammed cars, the discord of the people filled streets of small villages and huge cities immediately went to an eerie quiet. It was as if someone had pressed mute on the world.
The screens of the empire filled with the image of a black armored behemoth with the imperial seal and two white skeletons bowing before it. It was on top of a green and brown background. At the bottom and top, painted a beautiful red were a row of roses which seemed so out of place with the insiginia.
The behemoth was the king of death, the demon advisor, the vizar of hell, the grand master of the death guard. The camera panned out to reveal the Empress above and the crowd below.
With his arms held out he shouted a patriotic cry of 'all hail ralkovia.' The crowd immediately screamed back the same message before stopping. The screens, Tv's, and loudspeakers throughout the Empire caught the sound and sent it streaming out for the rest of ralkovia to hear.
She heard the voice of the death guard begin to speak. The voice sounded like the steps of hundreds of men marching off to death she thought grimly to herself. He couldn't be described as being eloquent his voice was harsh and brash. His words filled with a hate and anger that could only be forged through screaming your throat raw with battle orders and victory howls for many years. It was a voice that would blend in well among the cacophony of something known as war. It seemed fearsome yet confident, paralyzing yet inspiring, she thought to herself. It was a sound out of place among the peaceful civilian world yet it could grab the attention of its listeners just the same as if it was in the middle of a battle.
"MY FELLOW RALKOVIANS THE DOGS KNOWN AS THE QING, VILE ORIENTAL COCKS(roosters) HAVE MADE THREATS TO OUR ALLIES. THEY HAVE DECLARED WAR ON THE GRAND WORLD ORDER. HOWEVER INSOLENT MONGERELS SUCH AS THEM ARE COMMON AMONG THE WORLD AND TRY TO SCAVENGE AND ATTACK WHEN THEIR ENEMY IS FIGHTING AGAINST A LARGER THREAT. THESE COCKS HAVE EVEN INSULTED OUR FRIENDS IN AMERICA, THE CONGAREENS. NOW IS THE TIME TO FIGHT, NOW IS THE TIME TO KILL, AND NOW IS THE TIME FOR VICTORY."
With the patriotic calls for vengeance and victory complete the grand master resumed with his stony almost automaton stance as he waited for crowds to quiet down. Even with the inspiring speech however this declaration would be useless if the Empress decided to not heed the calls of her battle-hardened war-mongering advisor.
"Mother please tell me your orders," he said losing all the hate in his voice but gaining a sort of child-like innocence. How remarkable the death guard were she thought to herself. So vile and manipulative yet how intelligent.
Empress Maria took a deep breath. She weighed her choices again and again. She could of course say no but she knew she would die and the monarchy end as the raskov dynasty would cease to exist. The death guard grandmaster of one of his puppets would then received the throne and almost 5 millenia of raskovian rule would be stricken from the history books. The death guard were good at making people disappear so it could also be believed that they could make history disappear as well.
She looked to the paper and cleared her throat. She took another deep breath. She knew what she would say would guarantee the deaths of thousands of young men and women. She knew that it was either the lives of these men and women or the lives of millions if the death guard took over. For now it seemed that she would have to be an assassin, kill a few to save hundreds or so she thought. It seemed selfish to sign the death warrants of these brave ralkovians but she had to do what was best for the Empire.
She gave a motherly smile as she undid the white cloth hood, her long blond hair flowing over the white. She held her hands together bent in the middle as if holding a baby in her arms. She considered the fates of her people one last time before speaking. She knew what she had to do and if the death guard wanted her to speak for them then she would very well give them what they wanted. She removed the paper from the podium and savored the look of disbelief on the usually stone faced but unmasked Imperii death guard as she crumpled it up and threw it to the ground. Maria closed her eyes giving the image of a mother in deep meditation over the safety of her children. In reality she thought of what she was going to say. In her head she thanked her father for her ability to improvise and then began to speak.
"My children, I would never risk your lives for trivial causes. I love each and every one of you. Sending you forth to the hounds of war is something I could never do for a trivial cause but this is not one of them. My Ralkovia is a nation that shines among the blackness of the world but we are not alone. Nations like the GWO, Congaree, Void, and Buddha also shine with us however like the night the darkness would consume the light. Capitalist, Socialist, Communist, Democracies, and all other government types discriminate on fascism and monarchies. Why? Because they would see it fit to crush the light and spread evil among the world.
Ralkovia as old as it is is not strong enough to combat the world alone it needs allies and we must stand and help when our allies need our assistance. That is why I must agree with your call for battle my son. My children follow your eldest brother for victory. Bring glory to me and most importantly Ralkovia. I love you all and I shall love you forever. I am your mother and Ralkovia is your father, please fight for us my children. Please destroy the enemy. Please help us."
It was almost ironic she thought to herself looking at one of the screens that she had with such an angelic and beautiful face sullen it with the blood of thousands and the misery of millions. How many young faces would be buried for her smile?
The speech itself sent shivers down the spines of millions of young men watching. The old, veterans of countless war, could only nod their head in disapprovement as a regime that had promised a change to pure love and compassion dirtied its hands with the mud that would be needed to bury young men and women. To them and the pessimistic of ralkovia the only change had been one in gender, face, and name. The angel of peace had condoned the actions of the devil.
The grand master of the death guard now spoke with the will of the people of ralkovia,"YOU HAVE SAID IT AND SO SHALL IT BE DONE!!!!!!!!"
She felt the power of her decision and couldn't help but laugh. She held it in as she slid her arms away. Maria opened her eyes and placed her hands on the podium losing the exterior of a caring mother.
"ALL HAIL RALKOVIA!!!!" She screamed through the microphone.
The crowd and every ralkovian no matter where they were shouted back that same message again and again and again. "ALL HAIL RALKOVIA!!! ALL HAIL RALKOVIA!!!"
The broadcast came to a close and life resumed as every ralkovian went back to business. Except now Ralkovia was at war.
---------------------------------------------
1 day later
"General Lee Louch reporting my empress!" a young man dressed in Ralkovian officer black said bowing before her.
"Rise, my child. Do you know why I called you here?" She said looking him over.
His eyes were so different from anything she had seen before. They were violet and his hair a blackish grey that spiked down at all angles. He was anglo-saxon but his face was small. Though all of his features were sharp altogether he was quite attractive for 23 year old Maria.
He had reached the rank of general at the astonishing age of 19. He was a man of astonishing intelligence and it was even said that he beat Maria's father in War Tiles.(Ralkovian chess) He had already been in battle and had a victory list of at least 30 major battles. An excellent coordinator and organizer he knew strategy and tactics. He kept his logistics within reach and was known as the Young Napoleon of Ralkovia even surpassing him when he won several major battles taking the western half of russia. Altogether he was the perfect choice for Supreme Knight(Supreme commander of ralkovian forces in a region)
"I believe that the Empress has yet to choose her Supreme Knight and that she has called me here to give me that position," the young man said as he went from bowing to standing.
"Your arrogance is as remarkable as your reputation but yes you are correct," she said with a stern look. Inside she was smiling, on reading his record she had seen quite clearly that this man was confident as well as arrogant. That would put him in direct conflict with the death guard commander when she deployed them.
Her response drew a smirk from the man which was of course not allowed unless the empress was also smiling. Immediately she felt the death guards in the rooms hate. She even had to nod her head to stop to two approaching death guard from restraining the man. He was to perfect.
He went on a knee and handed her his sword. She planted it on both shoulders before handing it back. "I now proclaim upon you the right to rule the men I will give you. I send you to battle. I expect victory, do not dissappoint me my knight."
The man got up and bowed. He took a deep breath and said with such utter confidence,"The enemies of our nation and our allies shall feel the blade of the Empire. Their people shall feel are boots when we march upon them. I shall not fail you and I shall fight until the day I die. FOR THE GLORY OF MOTHER AND FOR THE GLORY OF THE EMPIRE!!!!!!"
---------------------------------------------------------
10 days later in Ralkovia
Over 500,000 regulars stood before Lord Louch, not to mention over 400,000 black guard guard and 100,000 Death Guard. Mounted upon tanks and APCs were another 100,000 mechanized infantry. Altogether 1.1 million men and women were ready to attack. The people of Qing and of Ming, ging, ting, and what ever rhyming nation stood in their way would feel the wrath of the ralkovian empire.
He addressed them with a short speech as over 5000 troop ships arrived to fill their steel bellies with men and machine. The stink of sweat, gas, and gunpowder filled the air along with the sound of rumbling engines and marching men. Load after load of men filled each ship it was uncomfortable to be stored in such cramp quarters.
In private, Lord Louch looked at a map of Qing and looked for some sort of plan. The nation was surrounded by another much larger country and ralkovia would probably have to drive a path through it for the sake of logistics since the chance of that nation allowing Ralkovian troops to go through it was highly unlikely. No matter, He would figure something out.
The vast Sutherland fleet would arrive within the next month and it would comprise of over 7000 ships. It was hardly the largest fleet ralkovia assembled but it was damn big. All lord louch could think to himself was Logistics would be a bitch and would probably be the biggest problem to face him since the Qing were likely to fall soon. He pressed the zoom out button on the large map and looked at what he had in the region. He had a budget of just under a trillion dollars and he was about to eat up part of his finances as he clicked several structures on the colonies of ralkovia in the region.
------------------------------------------------------
Asian Theater
The asian colonies, the most prominent the korea's and the vietnamese had received over 40,000 colonial guard each for the defense of the colonies. Most had been transferred from Yemen but with a now relentless sandstorm the troop shipments had dropped.
With a Ralkovian hold on Mongolia, which was barely a hold since the russian federation had cut off supplies and easily had taken over the north, Burma, Vietnam, and Korea. Ralkovia could launch long range cruise missiles until the first of the fleet arrived. The qing were in big trouble because while Ralkovia could never attain victory in China or India it had complete control of many of the surrounding nations. Even though attempts into Taiwan were repulsed by the stubborn forces.
Ralkovia, on the orders of Lord Louch, was quick to fire over 100 Tomahawks at important military sites of the qing though there weren't too many so some were 'addressed' to important civilians sites.
In fact actually most were aimed at civilian industrial buildings though they shied away from attacks on hospitals, religious centers, etc. While Ralkovia was brutal, yes. It wasn't about to get enmeshed in any guerrilla war. The plan was to Land, Subjugate, and Leave. He couldn't afford to get stuck turning the LSL strategy it LSS. If a guerrilla war should happen the public support was sure to fade. He needed to get in, crush, and get out. With 1.1 million troops that was going to be a total mess.
After the first strike had been launched a second strike of another 100 tomahawks were launched at fortifications, important bridges(mostly at ones with railroads), and any refineries. Some were routed towards the government buildings such as the treasury and capitol.
From Vietnam and Korea over 100 B-52 bombers and 12 EB-52H(electronic warfare) were launched from air fields. They were accompanied by over 40
F-22G Raptors, 30 A-10 Warthogs, and plenty of other interceptor aircrafts. The formation was huge and would eat up gas if it wasn't up to the 30 refueling aircrafts.
What was the reason for the vast flight of aircrafts? What was there target?
It was aimed at the enemies airfields and airplane manufacturing. Secondary targets included weapon manufacturing centers. The air would belong to ralkovia long before the land.

To: Stoklomolvi
From: The Grand World Order Office of Foreign Affairs
The Great Qing has declared war on the entire IFA. Therefore, your plans to attack our members are completely lacking of a reason, and are elements of blatant warmongering. Forces have already been sent to ensure that not a single Stoklomolvi being steps upon the planet through the portal connecting your planet to ours.
Outside the Stoklomolvi Portal
A collection of GWO ships had formed up around the portal that the communications had cut through. Such an invention as a portal large enough to send invasion forces through had to require much energy, thus making it impossible for there to be two portals without making half of Stoklomolvi live without electricity.
Soon after the Stoklmolvi threat was received, several EMP missiles were brought forth. They would be used to disturb the energy supply to the portal, and possibly could disrupt the polarization of the field, which would collapse it completely. ((OOC: Before you say "You don't know how it works", I doubt you could come up with how it works either. In RL though, German scientists have actually begun teleporting particles from one vacuum to the other using polarization, et cetera.))
Jammers were also put into effect, partially to see if they could have any effect, but to also make sure an incoming Stoklomolvi fleet couldn't see them from their side. This would create an ultimate advantage, as the ships would have to round the rim of the portal ((Which they would have to sink to get through realistically, as the water in the middle of the portal would be suspended between the two worlds)) and run into the waiting GWO weapons, only able to send a small number of ships through at a time.
Qing Waters
The Qing could not hide their military facilities from the Order, nor could they hide their soldiers from the various, very powerful optical systems over the country. Another raid was coming, targeting troop concentrations within a several mile radius of the landing areas. Satellites were zooming in and simply giving coordinates to whatever they saw with weapons. Seconds later, these coordinates would be targeted by strike planes or cruise missiles, or in some cases, both.
To: Imperial Fascist Alliance Members
From: The Grand World Order Office of Foreign Affairs
The nation of Stoklomolvi is a pitiful Communist regime that has failed to do anything during a multi-year struggle against the Order. They have not even won a single engagement against our forces during their invasions.
The Order reminds its allies of their IFA membership; while we are not forcing you to fight, we would like to remind you that you are under our protection, and that Stoklomolvi's threats can be tossed aside, for the combined force of the Imperial Fascist Alliance can easily crush their militaries.

The Fleet neared the city of Tientsin. They saw the other fleet bombarding the city in the distance. The captain's booming voice came over the loudspeaker.
"Yarr boys!"
"Yes sir!" The crowd of sailors chanted.
"Everyone man their stations!"
"Yes sir!"
"The mortars need to be on to deter them from our vast amount of transports."
"Yes sir!"
"Now get to it!"
Everyone ran into a pandemonium to bombard the city of Tientsin.

((OOC: That's like claiming that I can't say your planes have wings. Teleportation is an RL technology now, albeit not very usable yet. Until you or someone else can find a way to teleport other than the way the Germans found, I'm afraid my EMP missiles will simply have to keep locking you from NSEarth. There are so many things I could point out about your portal that I can "legally" ignore you and the rest of A45 or whatever the hell it is permanently.))
GWO Missile Installation #532
As soon as another Stoklomolvi portal had been sighted, coordinates were given for another EMP strike. Four EMP ICBMs flew for the portal; two would go through it to disrupt electronics on the other side, while the other two would once again close the portal on the NSEarth side. Satellites had also prepared to unleash the Funeral of Gatling on anything that came through.
It was apparent to the people in the Spire that Stoklomolvi had finally been cast from the world, never to bother the Order again. Of course, this was simple speculation and hopeful thinking, as nobody really knew what was next.

:: A Steelian Fleet ::
"New orders, Jeep."
General Karl Hartmann was technically of equal rank to General George Parker, who was in command of the fleet (and its army and airforce components) at the moment. Nonetheless, he relayed orders because he was closer to the Council of Twelve. Currently one member short, because he'd been assassinated. This kind of thing happens a lot in military juntas.
"Karl. What's up?"
"Not much. The Allanean war fell through, for some reason. You've been reassigned as the Pacifican fleet, though, and we're hoping to revitalize arms manufacturing to replace some of the lost ships."
Parker raised his eyebrows. "Why are they sending me out to Pacifica?"
"Who knows," Hartmann said. "Don't like you much, I guess."
"And this fleet's ridiculously overpowered for Pacifica. I mean, it's a couple of little islands, and I have fifteen hundred ships here. How would they all fit?"
"They'll fit," Hartmann said. "I think. If they don't you can send some of them back. And of course they'll have to build a new dock just for the Mostly Harmless. You know how it goes."
Parker nodded. he did know how it went.
"Anyway, get moving. We're going to attack someplace called the Qing. I think. C12 wasn't too clear on it, but Pacifica's spearheading it, so we want extra force over there asap."
"Right."
Parker stopped to calculate. With icebreakers at maximum power, and cutting through the Northwest Passage -- which linked the Arctic and Pacific by cutting across a sparsely inhabited, river-crossed part of North America -- it would still take him three or four days to get to Pacifica. Of course, it had its own military forces at the moment, but they were ridiculously underpowered -- no more than a hundred ships, and scarcely more than a thousand aircraft. He wondered exactly what they'd be spearheading.
:: Pacifica ::
The SB-22 was almost omnipresent in Steel and Fire's military airfields. They were a symbol of everything wrong with the nation: enormous targets that existed mostly because of a national desire to drop huge bombs on people. Well, they would have been a symbol of everything wrong with the nation, if the Warhound Mark VIII Superheavy Tank hadn't beaten them to it. (Although while that was iconic, they were almost never deployed to combat zones. For some reason.) Pacifica hosted a hundred and forty-four of them, each one with a payload of well over two hundred thousand kilograms, and used them whenever it seemed convenient.
As a result, when the new orders came in, all one hundred and forty-four lifted off, accompanied by ten squadrons of ASF-71s [240]. A complement of AWACS joined them, naturally. And they flew out towards The Great Qing, on a flightpath that would coincidentally take them right over the numerous fleets in the area.
OOC: Yeah, so, I was basically just looking for a war of some kind. Due to being bored. All will be explained shortly. /OOC

The Ralkovians, luckily, had launched their missiles at the other China, as the Ming controlled nearly all of the land around the Qing save for the little entryway that the enemies would without a doubt land at.
The enemies bombarded Tientsin without stopping, and luckily the East Congaree forces bombarded Qinhuangdao, a city that did not exist while Chinhuangtao was safe from the bombardment. Unfortunately, men from the Soundgardens began landing at the beaches, who were then met with a wall of bullets from the fortified positions amongst the rubble and damaged coastal buildings.

New Confederates
22-02-2009, 06:22
OOC: Made in arrangement with East Congaree over MSN.
While the President and Congress had always been supportive of keeping the Democratic States out of the conflicts of the world, the individual citizen was often prone to believing that, sometimes, you just got to pack some things, grab a gun, and go kill people who are annoying your brethern thousands of miles away from where you lived. As a result of such thinking, a group of ten thousand invididuals banded together to form the Davis Brigade - an entirely volunteer force which would help the government of East Congaree fight the Qing Chinese in the name of Confederate solidarity - and President Strickland did nothing to stop them from contacting the Deere Administration. As the Davis Brigade gathered in the streets, marching to the Bonnie Blue Flag, while citizens eagerly caught a glimpse of them, President Strickland declared that his government would not try to stop the Davis Brigade from fighting under the flag of East Congaree.
Led by an energetic young man who felt the men and women of East Congaree were brothers by blood and culture, the Davis Brigade divided itself into two wings. Eight thousand would head over to fight against the Qing while the remaining two thousands would fight against the rebels in East Congaree - a group of people who were loathed throughout the Democratic States not only for their disobedience to legally established government but because the Democratic States - the inheritors of Confederate American thought - loathed the idea of non whites causing problems in the land of their forefathers. This is what motivated many Davis Brigade members: the chance to wipe out the men of color's rebellion and to reinstate Confederate control. Plus, it'd allow them to see where their ancestors lived before Lincoln, who they were taught from birth to loathe, ruined everything as textbooks said.
The eight thousand soldiers set sail for the Qing theatre of conflict on a sunny afternoon while citizens watched them dock aboard ships that they either procured from supportive rich people or which they themselves had owned. Rumors that Reginald Deere had sent ships of his own to pick them up circulated among the citizens. News of the Davis Brigade's actions were picked up by local reporters who usually ended up praising them or criticizing them for getting involved in foreign conflicts. As the ships of the eight thousand reached the oceans, they sent communications to the Congaree forces in the area. We are here to fight with you, the messages said, we want to see the flag of our brethren, of our forefathers, raised high in the lands of the Qing. The question, now, was how would East Congaree take these messages. The Davis Brigade was ready to fight. The South had not only risen again but it was ready to attack. And it would.

We are sad to see such a great nation be dog piled by groups of larger nations. As such we are wiring 600 billion dollars to your nation to help support you, as well as put 5 Voleur Class Nuclear Attack Submarines (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13701031&postcount=232) under your command. God speed.

"It'll never work." Lee said. "Nobody cares who we are, and the odds of a settlement are practically nil, considering the size disparities."
"It's worth a shot. Better that there be aggrieved parties that we can sell weapons to for rearmament than a random annexation." David replied. "Besides, I've always wanted to arbitrate a treaty. I'm sending it out, like it or not."
"Fool," Lee muttered. Time to go see how the intern had screwed up this time...
ATTN: All warring parties in the Qing-GWO conflict
Re: Settlement
We urge an immediate cease-fire and negotiations in the neutral city of Singapore. This is not a war worth anyone's time. Further, the dispute that sparked this war, such as it is, appears to be ideological in nature, and, as such, should be easy to settle - there are no territories in dispute, not even contested maritime claims. I would be willing to serve as the arbitrator of discussions pursuant to drafting a peace treaty that would adequately settle this dispute.

Off the Coast of Tianjin
Near the beaches of Tianjin, East Congaree hoped to spearhead the raid with the 8000 strong foreign volunteer infantry "Davis Brigade". They would land under the fire of 100 Sovremenny class destroyers, while the Sonora rangers, an elite Mexican fighting force from East Congaree's southwest, would secure the beach as the volunteers pushed inland.

Lieutenant-Commander Jianbo Wei, Xiangjia class QT 478 "Certain Death", Nr. 25 Submarine Squadron, JNS Gangkui (CVN-07) Carrier Battle Group, "Ghost of Tung Kang-han", stood on the bridge of his command and observed closely the radar console, hovering behind the headphoned rating like the gangly vulture he resembled. He thought that perhaps he was frightening the young man, but in his intensity, he did not care.
+++"Na," he intoned suddenly, barely above a whisper. The rating looked up at the same time, oblivious to the Commander's knowledge, but noticed the Commander had deduced the presence of the contact already. He turned back to his duty station and began calling out further contacts as they came onto the screen, as Wei moved to pace. They were hitting the rear escorts and transports with passive sonar; it was probable that the submarine fleet was sweeping to the front. It was not likely they would be back at the rear: Jianbo Wei and the QT 479 "Revenant" of the same Nr. 25 Squadron were all alone this far out, on a foray to see what they could sink and otherwise harry before the main Jeunese fleet air arm caught up, and nothing would have suggested that they were coming so soon. The sonar signatures of the blips on the screen were displayed, but it did not particularly matter to any fleshly mind.
+++Wei waited and stooped outside the section of the bridge where he was intended to stand, white knuckles tight on the hand rail. He watched with intensity as the transports came closed to within twenty-five kilometers, then—
+++"Fashe!" he ordered sharply, and grinned madly as he felt the tubes flush water, sending five-hundred-twenty kilograms of magnetically-triggered explosive toward the amidships and steering mechanisms of the contacts given to them, just to make sure. QT 479 launched two of her own heavyweight torpedoes at different targets.
+++The torpedoes loped along at thirty knots for a pace, before slowing to five knots at the edge of their detection radius, at the behest of the weapons officer, coordinating the steering via fibre-optic wires, to stealthily reach forward and so pass through the escape zone, where the torpedoes activated their secondary drive and sprinted the last sixty meters. When they hit, most of the passengers would be thrown to the deck by a loud crash, accompanied by a plume of water erupting within the confines of their vessel, while the rest of the disoriented crew would probably be wondering what had happened. The bridge would suddenly lose control, with the rudder and bits of its drive-shafts shorn right off. The scene would be repeated with similar results on the next ship, while two torpedoes had accidentally hit the same, third ship when it pulled away from the first explosion and fouled the calculations.
+++"Ba san, hou, zhongchuan," clipped the WO on board the QT 478. This is your end, thought Wei with a thin grimace, and gave the order to flush four 650 mm superheavyweight torpedoes, fitted in the fore cavity which also stored cruise missiles when on littoral bombardment missions: heralds of death to the now-crippled ships. He could not see when their keels snapped in two as they would when the five hundred twenty-five kilograms of explosive in each warhead were set off, on average, sixty-six meters apart, detonating not six meters under their hulls.
+++Perfectly satisfied, and not willing to press his good fortune, Wei ordered the helmsman to turn and head away.
+++For the moment.

"Sir Satellite OH YEAH is approaching the Qing. Estimated window of time to fire is 20 seconds...Permission to fire 1000 shots has been given. We await your fire order," Technical Sergeant Howard Johnson said to his commander, colonel Steven Rivers.
"Targets have been identified, 10 seconds to fire,9 ,8..," one of the technicians said counting down.
Colonel Rivers took a deep breath. If he gave the order thousands would die but if he didn't his own men would die. He looked at the screen of the giant blinking dot nearing the outline of Qing. It was aimed at bunkers, refineries, and any factories.
He heard the technician reach 0 on his countdown. The satellite was directly above the Qing. "Fire!" Rivers said condemning thousands to the fate of death. The technicians in the room tapped on their buttons and then the room fell deathly ill. Miles above a satellite began to rain tungsten projectiles at the Qing installations.
In Qing, the people would have seen a beautiful meteor shower before they realized it was aimed straight at them. Metal rained down on them with the power of 1000 kg warheads(don't know the exact math. The tungsten coated balls penetrated concrete, steel, and flesh alike. Metal, hot from breaking through the atmosphere and spinning at over 100,000 RPM. It was as if G-d himself was throwing down lightning bolts at the Qing.
It was comical, almost. The destruction it created was akin to something of the kool-aid commercial. After 1000 of its 20,000 beach ball sized projectiles had been fired the satellite stopped its engines that had slowed it down and returned to normal speed and trajectory.
A few minutes later the 2nd satellite of the SMAKC line the ironically named GAME OVER YEAH! passed over Qing. This time it was aimed at government buildings. Slowing its speed with small jettisons of its rockets the satellite neared its targets. The satellite's barrel began to spin firing the tungsten projectiles out of it at high speeds with a high rate of spin. As it entered the Earth's atmosphere the casing on the projectile that protected it from being banged and bruised burned up in the atmosphere leaving this ball of super heated metal bounding for its targets.
Over 4000 had been launched at government buildings, subways, communication centers, factories, power plants, and anything else that could help keep the war going.
ooc: I ran the math for you Ralk. They'll actually land intact at 5.3 km/s but I dunno how much would ablate off. Blast damage would be limited (think tank sabot) but debris spalling off from the impact points would be nasty. CEP with spheres is horrible but with a thousand impactors I guess it doesn't matter.

My g-drods are in all cases better than what I want to do against you.
Either provide us with a map or accept my ambiguous launching areas. The only reason I'm launching my strikes from space is because you aren't clear where you are. I am sure I can hit you if I'm from space.)
ooc: Again, emphasis on the Godmoding taking place (especially Qing).
Seriously, both the Qing and Ming dynasties were on the almost same lands in China, but in 2 completely different time periods. Beijing is in the Qing sphere of influence from that time, so I don't see how the Ming dynasty could control it if it is from a different time frame. Thus, Qing's argument of not controlling such city, and constantly denying certain areas as his but rather in the Ming sphere is bull. So this whole thread is pointless in iteslf
ooc2: The Zoingonians fired the I.G.N.O.R.E. Cannons at the Qing Empire which resulted in its erase from modern history, plus it turned it into a radioactive wasteland. From the blast, everyone invading forgot what they were doing and in result, decided to go home.

Hmmm, absolutely no response to 384 aircraft approaching Qing's landing region... /OOC
The Steelian bombers slowed, spread out, and launched fifty missiles apiece. The SSM-60 was a fairly large missile. Part of this was due to the fuel required to propel it to Mach 6 and higher. Mostly, though, it was due to the fact that each missile carried a 550 kt nuclear warhead.
The 7200 missiles were targeted at the Ralkovians, Grand World Orderians, Qing, Jeunese, East Congareen, and everyone else in the area alike, not distinguishing one group from another. Then the bombers turned around and RTB'd, having fired their missiles at just over eight hundred kilometers from the warzone.
Retribution from the warzone area would be made difficult by the EMP caused by the nuclear strike, but it was likely to come from elsewhere, such as a satellite. That's why there were two hundred and forty air superiority fighters there. They had nuclear LRAAMs.

The IFA—Belligerent Once More
By Hans Bayer
Published: February 21st, 2009
Ah, and once again the IFA rears its ugly head. I find it interesting in the extreme that these self-proclaimed powerhouses seem to declare war exclusively on minuscule nations and those unable to defend themselves in their quest for fascist world domination, retreating into the background when confronted with nations larger or more powerful than themselves.
How can one be expected to dominate the world and lord over it with an iron fist if they cannot manage to take on a nation even one man larger than themselves? We now reach the point of revelation—these states exist to do nothing more than bully those too small or weak to stand up for themselves. They bully their own people, and when they tire of that, they bully their neighbor’s people, and all the peoples of the world to satisfy their insatiable hunger for bigotry and tyranny. The Great Qing is simply the next microstate on list—seeing a tiny, free state, the fascist hordes seize the opportunity to warmonger and spread death and pain to innocent souls.
Why is it that for all their rhetoric about “stable states” it seems that all the fascist hordes do is threaten the stability of the world? We have already seen the extent to which diplomacy affects these powers, and eventually we will come to a crossroads when we must confront force with force. There is only one thing that these people seem to understand, and there will come a time when we must do our part to ensure the world will remain safe for future generations.
A version of this article appeared in print on February 22, 2009, on page A6 of the Falkenberg edition.
